The difference is those pros makes money from ruining their eyes. We as average gamers gain nothing and harming our health, just improve at games the natural way by keep playing.
@@ravenspooktober331 I mean yea with modern technology in panels. But eye damage is due to straining your eyes so if you stare too close to your monitor your eyes gets tired and doing it a lot may not be healthy.
Tbh it’s not about sitting close, it’s about proper ergonomics. The proper distance from your face to your monitor should be between 1-2 feet with the very top of your monitor being at eye level when sitting straight up. Your monitor should be tiled up 20 degrees as well. 90 degree sitting position and arms bent at your elbows also at 90. Degrees. Feet planted flat on the floor and elbows not resting on any surface. If you sit like this every time, your results will be much more consistent as you can play and focus longer
Yep. This is why a good chair (doesn't even have to be an expensive one, just one that can do good adjustments) can also work wonders with ergonomics and it's why a bad chair can actually give you life-long pain and suffering.
This is all mostly true, "your arm not resting on anything" is gonna misguide people into thinking it should constantly be hovering and/or you should never plant your arm/wrist. To be clear you should combine wrist and arm movements and never play with a constantly planted arm, but it okay to plant in certain scenarios or in certain games based off preference. I wanted t clarify because only people who are newer/still trying to fugure out are gonna need this advise who might not understand what you mean is all; have a good day and happy aiming! 🙂
this is a much better reply to the video than what others are posting. im also wondering how nobody else is calling bullshit on this guys remark about increasing his headshot with this technique from 15 to 36 percent which effectively means he hits double and a half more heads than before.....yeah this is clearly bullshit. im a valorant player and i know just to get slight percentage differences at high level or low level of play requires so much conscious effort that i know this guy is full of shit. more people need to call him out for that. you cant just change one physical thing and bang your double and a half more effective. the most effective method to hit more heads is to actually slow the fuck down to the point of actual detriment to hit more heads if not aim higher and wider from any given angle than feels comfortable but thats not doubling and a half your headshots thats like a percent or two than you had before. so this guy claiming that much is insanely bullshit.
nah, you won't ruin your eyes that quickly. Just take more frequent breaks. I mean I kind of agree anyways but it all depends on how much of a sweat you want to be.
I play from a 12 inch tablet PC ;) and I can say for sure screen size is important for fps games (and having a lot of fucking FPS). Headshot % increased after putting screen closer to my face. So yeah it's true what Brandon says.
I got a 75” and put it in my room, I sit half the rooms length away in my chair (it’s cumbersome, but the room is large enough I can mostly keep it out of the way) or sit the entire room away on a small couch for more story oriented/relaxed gaming. To tie it off I poached an old Samsung sound bar from the attic and now I have a home theater in my room as well🤙🏽
I hope this is a joke lol, coming from 5 years of csgo and immortal in Val, sitting closer doesn’t benefit you in anyway. It’s all about preference, your posture, seating position(height & distance), and how you aim(wrist or arm) all determine how you play. If you’re an iron and moving your monitor two inches from your face, its not going to make you better(we’ve all tried it😭) it’s not worth going blind when we don’t get paid to play games. Tenz arguably one of the best aimers measures his monitor height and tilt, it’s about consistency and what you are comfortable with.
I remember a clip of shroud watching aceus gameplay and mentioning how ace sits so close to the monitor and how shroud wouldn’t be comfortable in that position. You are gna be able to aim well on whatever you get used to, dont do this, it’ll just ruin your eyes.
I usually prefer to have the monitor at a mid distance so that I can switch from content consumption to gaming easily without having to push or pull it into the preferred position.
Ohhh thats why im better in fps games on my school pc. My laptop screen is smaller and its further away from me and at school we have bigger screens and they are more near our faces.
So in theory, a bigger monitor at the normal viewing length would achieve the same thing? Everything's bigger but you don't strain your eyes as much. . . But ig our field of view being huge, I guess it would require like a TV or something
This is subjective to what your eyes say are you close sided or far sided if your far sided like me a armlengt is great if your close sided like tenz than close up how you can test it point your singer a way from your eyes bring it slowly to your if it gets foggy your fare side if you have feeling it’s not as sharp than close up your close side
you really shouldn't be focusing on your crosshair at any point unless you're adjusting your crosshair placement for a split second. If you arent looking at your target you're not aiming at them. Shooting your crosshair won't get kills, shooting the target will lol.
Dude this is almost the same as using a pros sensitivity and dpi, don't copy pros... Just do whatever you're comfortable with and practice makes perfect.
Yeah good luck increasing your myopia into the double digits, holy shit this is criminally bad advice. YOU. WILL. FUCK. YOUR. EYES. DOING. THIS. (Take it from someone who has bad eyes like me due to too much screen time at close range)
The difference is those pros makes money from ruining their eyes. We as average gamers gain nothing and harming our health, just improve at games the natural way by keep playing.
I’ve been doing it for a while and I wear blue light glasses and they help

Mom?
yea they only do those methods at lan tournaments and nothing else
@ayaya Tn BIG FACTS
90s: "dont get too close to the tv!"
2023:
He’s right. I play with the monitor touching the tip of my nose. Boom headshot!
That made me laugh
GRU?!?!?
"boom headshot!"😂😂😂

completely change your aim and ruin your eyes! dont be a sweat at the cost of your health
Unless your eyes are already ruined 💀
@@dewmeisterthat's a logical fallacy/bias

so pls keep Makin those
Just play however you feel comfortable, as long as you feel comfy and at home, you'll play fine. What matters is what works for you.
I did this for a day in apex and dominated pretty hard, then I stopped doing it cos it felt uncomfortable. But yea this totally works
Smart
Never be a sweat if it cost your health

Still, it will damage the eyes if overextended it
I just lean in for the tac advantages
me: a person who has a gaming laptop and projects the screen into a tv
I usually prefer to have the monitor at a mid distance so that I can switch from content consumption to gaming easily without having to push or pull it into the preferred position.
A friend actually told me the same thing. He said lower the brightness and when sniping it’s like a silhouette when looking through the scope?
Ohhh thats why im better in fps games on my school pc. My laptop screen is smaller and its further away from me and at school we have bigger screens and they are more near our faces.
better to make vr fps :D
Good tip, heard about it in 2003.
Get some blue light glasses they really do help

I embedded the monitor in my eye leads that increased my head shots to 101%

It just increases your reaction time so yeah
Dude this is almost the same as using a pros sensitivity and dpi, don't copy pros... Just do whatever you're comfortable with and practice makes perfect.
Naw takes to long I need instant improvement
Is it real percentage or a made up number lol. Sitting that close ruins your eyes in the long run.
Also prepare for eye doctor for sitting this close to display
W post!
Don't use close monitor 1080p .. do it with 4k or 2k😅
But your eyes are gonna be so sore because you have to move more to scan the screen
I’m focused most on the crosshair.
Awwww yeah
how does this hurt your eyes
LOL
When you’re a professional and money is on the line sure, but I wouldn’t recommend this for the average player.
Pls dont destroy ur eyes for a game guys
When I did this my dad said I needed an eye test💀
And buy eye drops
but my mom said never sit close
pov-how to f up my enemies gaming by giving misleading information on RUclips lol 😆 jk jk
WHATEVER YOU DO DONT DO THIS IT HURTS UR EYES AND MAKES YOU 200x WORSE
lol
