Thank you for this! I've seen other tutorials where the strip is sewn on AFTER serging neckband on. I will be using your method from now on, eliminating that extra step!
Thank you for this tutorial. My husband purchased a store bought top for our twin girls and I noticed this type of finish on the neck band. I was wondering how to get this nice professional finish look. I love your tutorials, I have learned so much from them. Thank you! ❤️
Do you center the band seam at the back center or closer to the shoulder seam? Have you ever seen tape used to cover back neck. Do you know if that is twill or bias?

This is one of the easiest tutorials I’ve seen for this! Thank you!
That makes it look so much neater. It would help with kids with sensory issues too.
I hope it does! Thanks for watching!

This is a finishing technique I've been looking for! It's been bugging me that the back of my tips don't look as neat as store-bought. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Thanks. Cheers Mary

Looks great
Thanks!
How would you topstitch it if you did go all the way around as you mentioned? A straight stitch wouldn't do in that case.
How much shorter do you cut the facing?
Thanks
You're welcome!
I would just do a double fold bias binding. This is too bulky.😬
