- This is a brief review of the Hisense HS312 soundbar and subwoofer. Please do yourself a favor and do NOT buy this product. It is honestly horrible...

I have bought this soundbar as a replacement for Samsung q800T soundbar(450Eur)The Hisense price was 200EUR.I can clarify that there is no problem with this.I tried with 5 years old Samsung tv,and also with Amazon fire TV stick with hdmi.The sound is very loud, crisp,and filled with bass.Works with stereo,dolby digital + ,and Atmos also.The volume level I have used is 20 from the available 100.I did not have any connection issue, nor freezing or unexpeted things.Wit Arc I can control the soundbar with the tv remote also.I feel that this soundbar is not bad for this price, for Samsung it was bad.The Hisense is much better deal.Only im missing some middle range,the highs are better,the bass is nearly the same,the atmos and the DD+ are cool.The build quality is the same.The bar has buid in 2022.04.06, so maybe has not the same.Also the included cable is OK.Also Fire tv stick soundbar and Tv connection was perfect, means i have used hdmi1 and hdmi arc at the same time.Maybe the problem is with your TV.
I have tested with film,and with music,my kids say it is more better than samsung,as we played the same music amd same films,same connection,and I can say it is the same or better than samsung.Also played sone music from spotify premium with hq,and no problem,it was better than samsung q800t.

You need a 2.1 hdmi cable for it to work correctly... the cable it came with is not a 2.1

I have got the same problem with this sound bar. Got connected with Bluetooth to my TV but sounds really bad.
Can you please let me know what exactly you did to get a better sound quality out of it. Cheers

Thank you for the comment, it is quite difficult to hear what kind of sound quality comes out of an audio system no matter how good your mic is. With that said, I appreciate your comment and will consider that next time.
ARE YOU kidding? I don't know what you talking about. If I go to 10 volume, is very loud. I don't think you install it correctly or something . It is f.cking insane this sound bar, and iy you play Dolby atmos then is a very big difference . Like earth and heaven difference. If the sound bar get atmos, then it's show it in the display , and belive me you will notice that is atmos. Like in the same volume in "normal" mode, feel double when atmos come In!!!
Thank you for the comment, it’s kind of plug and play so there really isn’t a way to not “install” it correctly. Maybe they have come up with a software update to fix this issue? Other commenters have similar experiences as I do so not sure what to make of that.
Anytime a soundbar says ATMOS, you have to bite the bullet and get the 4K/8K premium HDMI cables. The cheap chineese stuff that comes included in these bars are junk, and therefore, you get junk results.

Well seems like maybe an entire lot was defective. At 10 volume, is already too loud. I paid 100 dollars in today money . So a 3.1 soundbar with Dolby atmos, a very good deal!!

I have just brought a new Hisense tv , and I brought a Sony Soundbar . Both I did a bit of research on both and offered good value for money .
Now I can’t get the two to work together , and I rang Hisense and they said trying to match up different brands doesn’t always work well , you should have brought a Hisense Soundbar . The problem was , while Hisense tvs offer good picture quality for the buck , reading reviews their sound bars aren’t as convincing.Sony do get positive feedback This is where I thought I was being clever getting the best of both worlds .

I have noticed your Sub next to your TV try moving your sub to a corner of a room where it can reflect the bass better, I used to have the HS212 and this soundbar is way better, I don think your review is true and accurate your whole room is not acoustically correct to test a sound system
Thank you for the comment, I realize that the ceilings and shape of the room is less than ideal but there is just no “real” sound coming from the sub. It was on, connected, and moving but there was no real thump from the sub.
All that information and you couldn't even switch the sound bar on to show a demo ? strange word of mouth counts for nothing , I ordered this soundbar the other day and paid 250 euro for it , I will let you know what i think when I get it delivered and set up .

got soundbar opened it up and might need to send back as I have been given 2 cables with 2 pin plugs , also the wall mount is at each end of bar and I was looking to install on a chimney wall , any ideas or help would be thankfull as I would keep if I could be educated ,Do I need the cables and could I attach soundbar to tv with a universal mount etc , thanks in advance
@@ayrish24 you should have received 2 cables in the box. One would have been a HDMI cable and the other would have been a digital audio fiber optic cable. Both can be used to get sound to the bar but if you have an ARC port on your tv then I would use the HDMI port. For drilling into brick you should use an anchor system to mount the bar to the wall. Fortunately this bar is not too heavy. I hope this helps you out!
