Its reqlly interestong to see how prices change in this hobby. I have to say I thank thr breeders that go for the expensive ones and breed them out to an affordable price for non breeders. I think we simple hobby people miss that opportunity alot to thank those pioneets of sorts that really bring this hobby to smaller people like me. So thank you! I'm a fan of your work from your films to your RUclips channel here. You seem laid back and you can tell that you do have the passion for reptiles and that is nice to see. On a couple other channels you can tell that they're burned out a little but not with you. "Rattle on" brudduh
Dav- you should plan to come visit next spring (hopefully it's not as dry as this one was) I don't really go herping on a formal basis, but I do keep a catalog of my snake sightings here at the farm. Most happen in the roughly 800 x 400 foot area that encompasses our buildings. This year is up to 70+ encounters across 10 species.
My favorite is definitely the lavender snow. I just got a quick peek of it. But just gorgeous! It was awesome to see the collab with Catalea don't think I spelled that correctly but you get the idea. Always enjoy your videos. Have a great night!

I was going to buy an eastern indigo snake as my first but couldnt fimd any near me so i got a ball python then found a breeder who deals with olives and ive been debating getting some for years now
Some of the pieds I like are the Axanthic, Lavender Albino, Mohave, Coral Glow, Panda, Mimosa... a few lol. I would really love to see a Banana Mimosa Pied, if it hasn't already been done that is. We don't have a great deal of pieds in Aus. Ooh, that reminds me. I'd have bought the Indigo as they are one of my most favourite snakes too and well, I live in Aus :P Heard you missed out on that Indigo so maybe come to Aus and settle for a slightly smaller, more venomous version, our Red Bellied Black (Pseudechis porphyriacus). Much cheaper too lol although they'd probably cost a small fortune where you are given the rarity of Aus vens overseas.
Yea when i started about 10 years ago everything in my price range was hets lol normal spiders were 300$ to 400$ but i got what i thought was a fire spider for 240$ as the guy was drunk wanting cocaine and came out at 2 am to sell it to me lol i figured he was buying cocaine due to being drunk when showed up and a 8ball costs about 240$ so me and my mom had a laugh but turns out it was a blade spider
The indigo would be a better investment and you'll get more time with it than a week or so in Aussie.. Lol. You'd get years of enjoyment with a great snake.
Hi, I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question (it probably is), but is there any pied morphs that have the purple colour of a banana/banana pastel ball python? how amazing would it be to get a pied with a purple/lilac head and markings on a clean white body. dream snake lol
Dāv Kaufman's Reptile Adventures meat pies are easy to make. My father was Brit lived in UK and AU prior to moving to the Americas. Steak and kidney pie 🥧 very tasty. I no longer eat animals now.
