    I’d missed the metaphor of the shackled horse being a reflection of her own life. When she first saw the horse I figured it had been left there deserted. Her reaction to want so save it seemed an example of her (yet seen to the viewer) humanity/kindness.

    I enjoy how similar the turning point was to mine , despite circumstances not being the same. That feeling of being trapped and then just leaving . I went from france to england and left just like her and i definately recognised that calm anger , mostly how readable her body language is , another trait i share with the character .

    my theory on the title ‘fish tank’ coincides with your analysis on how mia feels trapped in her world, in her life. like she’s a fish in a fish tank.

    Great review! I enjoyed your keen observations on the social commentary interlaced with real-talk such as "the guy was a dick" 😂 You're obviously passionate about cinematography, it's nice to see.

    I had to to watch this video at 0.75x speed (slower) to understand. It looks like you uploaded the video by increasing the speed.
