      Unfortunately, I am not able to participate in your contest, (because I don't have any social media besides you tube) but I've been following you for some years now. This video is so on time .... I use the affirmations, prayer in the morning, and intermittent fasting (when I am able to really comply lol ) I will have to try the working out in the mornings .... maybe you can give us some simple workout ideas that don't require a gym to start your day ..... thanks for being a model and an example to our little girls who may stumble across your page and see a familiar face doing the dang thang !!!! Congrats on your nuptials as well !!!! I share some of your videos with my staff to help get them acclimated for the day or week as well 😄

    I just started my morning routine and so far its
    1. Washing my face
    2. Gym
    3. Shower
    4. Something fun for myself
    5. Breakfast
    After that I go to work.
    I would love to hear your suggestions on dating today. Ive been very afraid to date and I want to feel comfortable getting back out there. What are your suggestions for prepping to start dating?

    My current morning routine includes:
    - waking up at 6:30
    - making my bed
    - making a cup of tea
    - 5 - 10 min stretch
    - 10 - 15 min meditation
    - a prayer
    - 30 mins of journaling
    - affirmations
    - at least 30 mins of exercise
    And then I get ready for my day :) This is usually only on weekdays though, I’m a little more laxed on the weekend.

    Time with God and recently I am adding a morning walk and at least 20 minutes of reading and also planning my day. Thank you so much for the information from Aurate.

    Can’t wait to watch I was never a morning person but now it’s my favorite time of the day I do a 30 min walk in the morning and spend time with God!! Lord I thank you for giving me new grace and wisdom

    I appreciate this video! I've struggled with routines of all kinds and especially a morning routine. I realize I live a life of disorganization and confusion and routines and having a plan can fix that! I purchased a new planner and other things....this woman is about to become an organized and stress free mama ❤❤❤

    My morning routine starts at night. I would prepare the day before so when I wake up the next morning I had my list ready and I just checked off the things I planned to do that day. Writing things down has ALWAYS been a staple for me to accomplish anything I do. It’s like keeping a reminder with me at all times. I enjoyed this video. It gave me a few more tips I think will help me in the future.

    This is my morning routine:
    1. Read a daily devotional.
    2. Wash my face and shower.
    3. Take a multivitamin.
    4. Get dressed for work.

    I love this. I do the same thing with the alarm and immediately after turning off the second alarm I say aloud "Thank You God for Waking Me Up". I usually proceed with a short prayer before I begin stretching for at least 10 min before my feet hit the floor or I make up my bed. Making my bed before exiting my bedroom is important to starting my day. I proceed to the bathroom for self care and always weigh myself before exiting the bathroom to get dress. I like to continue praying while getting dressed for the day. Making sure to give thanks for favor, being productive, completing my scheduled tasks and for protection to be safe in my going and coming. I have a cup of black coffee or green tea with honey then I am off to start the workday.

    “I am healthy. I am wealthy. I am rich. I am that bitch” lol every time I hear that song I’m like well, this is a mood. Therapy has been helpful but I def need some journaling and exercise. And eating like I love myself and you are always an inspiration, Dr. Nina. ❤️

    I started doing morning affirmations/meditations/prayer in the morning. it makes such a difference. I'm a med student studying for boards
    as a professional woman, i'm learning from you that routine is key

    As a tried and true night owl (I used to work nights on purpose) mornings were never very important to me. Now I have a day job (starting at 8) I realize the importance of a great morning routine! This awesome video is chocked full of great tips, thank you!

    I was never a morning person but I've found that when I wake up early I get a lot accomplish. I'm working on actually being consistent with waking up early so that I can start my exercise and meditation and get my day off to a great start!

    I’ve been working on adding more quiet time to my morning routines, as I’m now a middle school teacher and a bodybuilder. There’s always so much to do.4:30 wake up water get dressed pre-workout, 5:00 cardio, 5;45 make breakfast 6:00 shower, 6:30 eat get dressed, 7:00 out the door to work

    I have tried to for months to have a steady routine especially since I am with my kids during the day. I currently work nights (12hr) so the flip sometimes can be rough but I’m hanging in there. I love your videos they are always informational, factual & transparent. Affirmations are something that has been pushed off to the side for religious purposes and I’m thankful that you were able to break it down real lite & simple.

    It’s great to see a more realistic morning routine! I am a caregiver to my father and it’s hard to get in a workout in the mornings because he is a morning person so trying to implement a stretch routine in the morning instead.     Usually in the mornings I have one set schedule:
    wash my face/brush my teeth(it wakes me up lol),
    coffee/tea, candle lit, and turn some relaxing coffee shop type jazz music,
    devotional time and prayer journaling.
    Cook breakfast for my family.
    Get my children up and ready for the day.
    Go over words with my son, workout for 45-50 minutes. Then shower and get ready for whatever we have planned for the day. I agree with you about getting up early because too many distractions.

    I like to lay in bed mindfully for 5 mins, just taking a moment to be still when I rise. I wake up before my alarm, so this isn't dangerous for me lol. I take in where I’ve started mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Next, I grab my bedside journal to jot down lingering thoughts/feelings as well as what I’m grateful for. This release helps me get out of bed with a calmer mind, coherence, and a certain lightness about myself. It also preps me to set realistic daily goals & intentions later in my routine. These first steps are pivotal for me.

    I am starting a new morning routine. I'm not a morning person but I realize waking up late is not working. I will spend time with God, shower, exercise, shower and hygiene routine, and breakfast. I will get dressed and ready for the day. The last thing my positive affirmations to keep me going. A suggestion I like to add is can you do a video or talk about how to dress your body while losing weight. It can get expensive changing your wardrobe each time you lose weight.

    Hello Dr. Nina! Thank you sharing (as always) such wonderful bits of wisdom!
    My morning routine starts with a “good morning, I love you!” with my boyfriend (it’s an immediate and intimate way to start the day off with gratitude) and is followed by things that bring me joy in incriminates of 20 (which equals the hour I have to myself before getting ready to work!): 20 minutes of stretching or exercising, followed by a cup of tea/water, 20 minutes of “morning pages”/journaling, and 20 minutes of reading (a book, the news, or catching up on podcasts). Only after all of that do I check my phone and then get ready for the day!
    Video Suggestion: as you make your transition into married life, what are the key tools you are applying to continue to strengthen the foundation of a healthy marriage?

    I've started prepping for my day the night before. Before bed, I make a list that includes my priorities and then any extras I would like to get done. I also recently started doing a gratitude list and it has been so fulfilling! My gratitude list is a great way to reflect on my day and I can't wait to be able to read 365 of them, but I will be content with the 10 I have so far. My goal is to start getting in that gym around 6:00am daily that way I can set the tone for my day and have better energy the entire day.

    I have a morning routine where I get up a hour before I start work, take care of the self care ie brush teeth and wash my face, read Jesus Calling for the day and read the chapter of Proverbs that correspondence to the day. I want to add exercise even if it is 20 mins, but I have not added that yet.

    This video is my life right now. Without a morning routine, my sleeping pattern was all over the place trying to balance FT studies and a FT job. During the day my mood was all over the place and I didn't have any energy. Sometimes I would wake up and go right to work without having any time for myself! I found that writing down plans for my day/week gave me structure and motivation. I have more energy and so now my morning routine looks like:
    1. Studying/ reading for 2 hours
    2. 1 hour morning walk/ 1 hour exercise
    3. Personal Hygiene/ Get ready for the day
    4. Breakfast
    5. Work

    Seeing this definitely gives me motivation! Im not really a morning person, but I've been working out in the mornings and its helped my mental so much! Next step is to conquer my morning routine so i can really excell! Thanks so much for all the tips and encouragement!
    I usually have a small breakfast or protein shake, make my bed (some mornings), and head to the gym. My goal is to wake up earlier on a more consistent basis to make sure I can have a full breakfast prepared before and after workout so I can make it to work on time! Lbs I also want to implement morning prayer and meditation before starting my day.

    I’ve started to reclaim my time and use it to care for myself. I’m getting my “house” in order and clearing the clutter, in hopes that I can make room for what’s truly important in order to create and sustain a morning routine that serves me well, and allows me to be CONSISTENT.     My Alexa routine begins 20 minutes b4 the alarm(ET inspiration, India Arie playlist, Quote and horoscope podcasts) I suffer from seasonal depression so have learned to use daylight bulbs, do 10 jump ropes and brush my teeth. My routine
    *Gratitude Journal I use a dollar store notebook for years. 3 things everyday since 2018
    *Affirmations
    *Mantra
    *Pranayama
    *Meditation
    *Gentle yoga
    All while I’m still in bed. 🌱

    Hello! My morning routine is 1) Thank the Father for another day and to ask Him to show me where to go, what to do, what to say and to whom; shower with and finish with a Tree Hut scrub (heaven!); wash my face, use the toner, TruSkin vitamin C, HA, and Dove rejuvenating cream; stretch (stretching just makes me feel like I'm opening up my body); make tea (TAZO Awake); check my emails; and since I was laid off last September, look/apply for jobs. Phew!!!

    6. Make smoothie

    My Moring Routine consist of some of the same as yours l read my Bible App, Inspirational Messages, and 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 before I leave my house. Also, I have Smoothie for breakfast most days or a light Breakfast but my Exercise routine needs lots of work. This was very helpful information. Thank You for Always giving the 411🤗🤗🤗

    Very encouraging video. I love that you are a beautiful, melaninated woman that's out here making positive content. I'm inspired every time I watch your videos. I work overnight, so I'm still trying to figure out my "morning" routine. Right now it consists of:
    1. Pray
    2. Brush/ take a shower
    3. Drink my green tea/ apple cider vinegar
    4. Spend some time with my 2 loves (daughter & boyfriend) before I go to work

    Yoga or stretches
    Small workout
    Hygiene routine (wash face, shower, brush teeth)
    Meditation before leaving the house (including word of thanks, words of affirmation, and setting personal goals)
    Night time-
    Write in my journal
    Read
    Write new goals
    Night time routine (wash face, shower, brush teeth)
    Night meditation (same as morning)

    Your video was very inspirational, realistic and affirming. I personally am working on incorporating exercise into my morning routine. Being blessed with the opportunity to work from home now I find that work and family time have sort of intermingled. There’s not much “me” time per say. I wake up, pray, shower and get dressed then it’s right to my office until my son wakes for breakfast!! Then it’s all about him. I will definitely try a few of your organizational ideas and tasks/to-do lists. Maybe if I write down “work out” I’ll actually carve out the time do so!! 😉👍

    The hardest part about getting up is GETTING UP! It's that part for me. My current routine is slowly trying to get up earlier and earlier every day so I don't feel like I'm rushing to start my day. I eventually want to add exercise to my morning routine.

    Hello, my name is Kimberly Amos-Davis I'm logged in under hubby name. My morning routine includes prayer before getting out of bed. Long stretch to wake ⏰ up before brushing my teeth and washing face. Drink a cup of water to get my joints moving. Reading 📚 an affirmation for encouragement for myself and to share on my Facebook story to help others. Dressed for the day and off to work I go..

    I try to wake every morning around 3am, to give myself just as much productivity time; before I punch the clock for someone else (employer). If i can give 8hrs to a job, then i should definitely give self 8+hrs of my woke time. Peace

    Video suggestion: Can you borrow someone's child for a week and then tell me how to navigate? (I mean that in the most humble way) Specifically, a special needs child. I have a 3yo with Autism (he's also Nonverbal) just dealing with him alone throws my day off. I also have a 8yo, and a soon to be 1yo. I'm having the hardest time trying to get a good self care routine. I don't have any help. No sitters. No relatives or friends to help me with my children.

    Hi Dr. Nina. Thank you for sharing your morning routine. What I like to do is:
    1. Have quiet time with Jesus, praying and reading the verse of the day and drink water because I get so thirsty in the morning lol.
    2. Wash face and brush teeth
    3. I will switch it up by either eating a light breakfast first then go for a run or other way around.
    4. Shower and get dressed
    5. Start my day by taking care of any errands in the morning so I can spend the rest of the day focused on studying since I'm working towards becoming a middle school math teacher.
    6. Once I'm finished with working/studying then I'll have dinner and wind down for the day to get ready for bed to start all over.

    During quarantine, I started working out in the mornings and it was a GAME CHANGER! Honestly, it kept me active and gave me a reason to get out the bed when I had absolutely nowhere to go. I got into the best shape of my life by taking daily quarantine walks. Now it's a habit and makes morning workouts a breeze. I just do not have that type of energy at the end of the day.

    My morning routine includes face care and other stuff in the washroom. Yoga and sometimes makeup even though I work from home, surf social. I'm not a morning person so I'm slowly adding things. Thanks for sharing :)

    I'm definitely working on building a better routine for exercise. I keep it going for a like a month and then I just fall off :( I'm a 42 yr old, married, empty nester. I've accomplished many things in my life and career. I would like to see a video on how to reinvent yourself!

    I absolutely love your content (thank you), however...I need a little clarity! In your experience with Intermittent fasting, early on, did you experience light-headedness and shaking? I've tried the noon-8pm eating window a couple of times, and always stopped because of the aforementioned. I'm trying once more, thinking that maybe I just didn't give my body time to adjust, so, I'm asking about your experience before I continue....LEST I SHOULD PERISH!!!! 😂😂😂

    Hi I start my day like you with two alarms so I laughed when you said that. I too need a pre-warning before the second alarm. I pray and ask God to bless my plans and if they are not what He desires for me then to help me accept.
    I usually leave my workout clothes out and I make a tea with either tumeric and Apple Cider or lime or ginger... I got some ideas from you and my parents
    I then workout (This may be interrupted by baby but I do what I can)
    Bath then meditation either home if I have time or when I get at work and have a peaceful moment.
    I will have a protein shake/smoothie before I leave and prep my girls and hubby for the day. Wow that sounds like much :)
