I'm in the process of adopting S1 for all writing duties. Previously used it for years for recording, tracking, editing, and mixing, but hate switching back and forth between various DAWs. Your videos on this are some of the best on RUclips. Thanks!
Great information here, exactly what I've been looking for. I bought a Faderport 8 for use with Cubase about a month ago and received an offer for a discounted subscription to Presonus Sphere. Figured it would be worth it to check out what Studio One could do, and the more I dug into it, the more impressed I've been. I've pretty much made the switch now, in fact I just got an Atom SQ as well (which happened to be on sale this month), and I'm totally digging having such a tightly integrated hardware workflow. In fact, there's a Presonus tutorial on the Atom SQ in which they demo assigning some of those slice commands to Atom SQ buttons to slice and send to Impact XT with a couple of presses. But I didn't really understand what was happening until I watched your tutorial , so thanks again, really useful stuff.
For me, each slice shows up as its own sample, instead of a differently-bracketed version of same long sample. Is this a setting somewhere that can be changed?
I have a similar problem. The thing is that it worked as expected a couple of months ago, but not now, and I'm not sure what I'm doing differently. I don't think I've had an update meanwhile either.
The BIN panel functionality should be INSIDE Impact/SampleOne. I don't like the fact that after I've browsed for a loop, I have to drag it into a track, do my editing there and THEN drag it into Impact/SampleOne.
hey man. how do you take out certain vocals? I have a studio session I did online with an artist. I found an app that I can take out instrumentals but for some reason I cannot take out specific hook vocals. Please help!
how do you slice a drum loop to sample one and have a midi file with the timing for the slices? is this still not possible in S1? Like logics slice to new midi track

Hey, when I use 'split tool' it goes to beginning of the project. Please, help me get rid of that.

Yes, I actually just made a tutorial on that. ruclips.net/video/AJWYKQofUJI/видео.html
