He's serving 3.5 years and has already survived 2.5 years. He's coming out next year in August. What I want to say is that he had real problems at the prison because they put him in a cell with a really dangerous guy. He beat my cousin, stole his things and forced him to touch him. He threatened to rape him. Luckily my uncle gave a guard money so that this guy could be put in another cell. Since then, thank God, nothing has really happened.

For example in Norway (maybe sweden?) Being "in prison" is a full time job, and they are allowed to leave on the weekends. They get paid and at the end of it, they are given a job (which they got training for in prison) The reason? REHABILITATION, they are taught to rejoin society and be helpful. Their relapse numbers are the lowest in the world, at under 30% I believe. People don't need to return to crime if they're given a job and a set of skills for the rest of their life
