Enjoy, I am making my third one at the moment, I find them so relaxing to make in an evening while I relax. Something about keeping my hands busy

I'm so glad you found it useful, its one of my favourite slow crafting projects to do, so satisfying using up all those fabric scraps.

Is this method of coil wrapping the same as if one wants to make a rug? I need a rug for my very small kitchen but don't want to pay the outrageous prices if I can just take some of my scraps and make one for pennies! And can this be adjusted to great a rectangle rug instead of a circle? I suppose it would be a great deal of trial and error if one has never tried to make a rug or basket using the coil wrap method, yes?

Hi I havent used it to make a rug before but it would be the same basic principal. You just wouldn't turn it to start creating the sides. So basically keep going in the flat. I think it would be easiest as a circle, the corners would definitely make it harder. But you could certainly experiment! Do let me know how you get on! Vanessa

Certainly works as an oval shape. Just start with a longer strip in middle and work around it.

I hate fast motion speed. It gives me a headache. In United States we use. Inches not centimeters.

Im in Ireland and we use centimetres here, as for the fast motioin, that a bummer for you but Im sure you can find another free video to watch that isnt fast motion
      Take care now.
