I own a 997.1 it’s a shame about this issue. My 3.6 engine is fine, but this problem is never far from my mind. 😢

Why do High performance cars fail so much with the same problems .. Shouldn't the manufactures sort these problems out .
Porsche was on its knees when it designed that engine so it produced a bit of a lemon. The ones following it were a lot better for reliability.

They don’t salt the roads like they do in the US so rust is not an issue in modern cars.
