One thing we all thought when we first started playing:
That since gold is shiny and rare, it's stronger and last longer. But NO it breaks sooner than the diamond and Iron pickaxe. Same with golden armor. It wears out faster than the other ones
I rember making full gold tools and I was happy with myself they immediately
My mistakes the first few times playing:
-I remember the first time I found a dessert pyramid I looked around (without digging a hole in the ground where the loot is) and left disappointed bc I was annoyed how there was no loot in such a big building.
When I found out about the amazing loot that can be found there I felt so dumb ;-;
-I mined gold with a stone pickaxe (at least it wasn't diamonds)
-I died when building my house (I was almost finished) and I hadn't placed a bed yet since I couldn't find any sheeps. Bc I didn't have a bed I also didn't have a spawn point, so I spent almost 2 hours trying to find my way back home.
-A creeper walked into my house bc I left the door open and exploded when I was organising my chests.
I then thought like "well at least I can organise it better now and spend more than 5 minutes organising tools and food and then I came to the realisation that all of the stuff I hadn't picked up yet, was gone.
-I jumped on crops.
-I found diamonds, made a diamond pickaxe and started mining obsidian. I then died to lava. (Even though there was water flowing bc I did use a bucket of water before mining) and then I lost everything in lava. I didn't know it burned so I rushed back and tried mining the stone around it to get my stuff back and then I realised it was gone.
I didn't even know I had to make tools. Then when I made tools for the first time, I also mined gold with a stone pickaxe, and I also mined Redstone with a stone pickaxe
when i was just starting out i mined everything with a wooden sword. I thought that the stone breaking but not dropping anything was a glitch and I literally almost wrote a review/complaint to minecraft about it until one of my classmates told me how fucked up i was at this game.

when i started mc i went into creative and tried to gather resources and wondered why they werent dropping IN CREATIVE
And then found out you could get items in creative with no work at all and then you would get the best armor that you possibly could and then you would get like 5 stacks of wood and stuff and then you would go back in survival and then build the most horrible house ever

At least the nether isn't that scary in your "first world", in the old times it was terrifying and looked more like hell, it was probably the low ceilings and fire that made it so dark and scary.

@@kyrogaming4826 some advice: go in once with nothing in your inventory except a stone pickaxe, and some cobblestone. The second you spawn in the nether, run forward and start making a room around your portal. You might die, but keep on trying! Whats the worst those ghasts can do, kill you? You'll just come back and kill them! Once you have a safe space, then you can start venturing out and about!! Good luck my friend!

i was very much a noob when i first started, my bf thought it was wholesome seeing me not knowing anything.
The first time I remember playing after 1.9 was released, but my parents say they bought Minecraft in 2015, so I have no idea. But it’s been 5 years and I’m proud seeing how far the game has come

I used to dig a house on ground and survive at night there when I played first
I used to be so scared whenever I saw a monster I ran away or left the game. And at night times I always dug a whole down 3 blocks deep and spent the night there in the pitch black darkness lol. I never even went to dark places and didn't even know that the nether existed. Good ol' days. The 'noob' in this video is good compared to other newbies

One thing I noticed here is that in the entire video, he never once crafted a sword.
I played a different Minecraft cause I played Minecraft a long time ago and uh I only and always spawn in a jungle and I was absolutely terrified on my first night also dig holes cause yet again I was really scared of the monsters

Me in a nutshell as a first timer. When I played for the first time, I thought the most efficient way to mine was using a sword, that dirt is the best block to use for building xD

I had to halt my sleep schedule for this, this reminds me of my first day in the game, I mined iron with my fist and didn't know how to craft anything, then my dad came, I stole his crafting table and threw it in lava, I got grounded BECAUSE OF A CRAFTING TABLE!!!!!
My dad played Minecraft with me one time and he helped me make my house, and he told me how to make glass and how to make a cake
The first ever time I played Minecraft was in 2009 (Minecraft Classic). I thought it sucked (because it did). However, I came back to it a few years later and haven’t stopped playing since.

I never left Minecraft so I was in tune with all the dangers of the whole time, I was around when the nether didn’t exist, I use to collect the nether cores like trophies. Once the nether was added though I made the rough mistake that was running back to the portal with a Gast chasing you

Yup I used a pick axe for mining cutting trees digging sand and dirt and also for attacking. Basically pickaxe for everything

All i do in minecraft is build, i played mc for about 7 years and since then ive built a modern city, A royal kingdom (rele huge builds) been working on them from 6 years ago to this day. My first build was a creative build, made a 'mansion' out of diamond blocks and birch logs then a neighboring house out of gold ore, I then tried survival, im scared of everything lol and i cant pvp for shit so i always stuck to creative building, now all i got is world edit, 7 mods, and a great time lol. Minecraft is something truly special. I studied a bit of architectural engineering and basically everyday in 2018 i made a new designed architectural structure for my city, but i stopped studying that as i majored in Accounting so i moved back to focus on my medieval kingdom builds. I now have an entire kingdom, moving to the next, hopefully my pc doesnt decide to quit life lol
Tbh when i played minecraft for the first time what to do also when i first enter the world , i still remember i always keep breaking dirt and make a house full of dirts lol
