thank you so much! You've mentioned that those estimates are for an enclosure, do you think 2 inches in the back would cover both the movement and heating cable? BTW, you've got a new subscriber.@@Shayway
Both the ones in Georgia had them! I feel like they had this one ready before the mini, but launched the mini first because they felt it would not sell as well if this released first.
It’s pretty great! Definitely a good choice for a first printer. Having a fully enclosed printer is definitely preferable in my opinion if you want to print with multiple types of picky filament. But if that’s not an issue, this is a good move.
@@ShaywayI'm sticking with pla, petg and tpu, so i think this is perfect for me. I've ordered the A1 and should arrive next week. Have you had any firmware updates, and if so did you have any printing issues after? I'm always nervous updating firmware incase it's got bugs. Thanks! 👍
@@BennyTygohome I’ve had a few updates actually. The good thing is you can always roll back. If you have any issues, therefore, always updated as soon as it comes out.
Great video. Tight space here. How much room do you need behind the printer to fit both the bed movement/heating cable and the spool? Thank you!!
I made this, I hope it helps Bambu Lab A1 Measurement Estimates for an Enclosure

@@andresmc410 thanks! I think so but adding an inch more or so probably wouldn’t hurt if you have the space
Do you have a link to that neat little basket you have there on the side to catch filament?
Which micro center did you go to? :P

What new features sets the A1 apart from other bambu offering?!
I'm considering the A1. How is the print quality compared to the other P1 and X1 series? This would be my first printer.
Thanks
