Hi Jason and Kevin. Watch all all videos but I have to say this van, Bulldog. Is one of the most impressive You have shown. Keep the vlogs coming you two are great entertainment . . . and very informative.
This Bulldog conversion is brilliant a very good layout so much space has everything and makes very good use of the space available one of the best small camper vans you have reviewed
Thanks for the tour Jason & Kev 👍 I’ve been waiting for this one with interest. I was talking to the owner (Jane) before she brought the van to you to sell, and I was quite interested at the time. It’s a great compact size with the fantastic 9-speed automatic gearbox, unfortunately imo the conversion lets it down. Not incorporating the cab seats in the ‘lounge area’ doesn’t utilise the space very well. Great to have a toilet and shower in a small van, but the seats look too upright and uncomfortable, and the bed looks tiny. It doesn’t look long enough for an average person, and it’s not very wide either. It’s great the van comes with a solar panel, 2 leisure batteries and inverter. Although there appears to be a lot of unnecessary kitchen work surfaces, which take up room that would better be used for storage.
Great Vann design and video, you too are a Hoot! Our new van, a 6m Calders Conversion on. Peugeot Boxer is also not the usual design and feels much more spacious than our previous 7.5m Coachbuilt. I can send you some photos if you’d like to see the design.
A good conversation, but for off grid I very much would say not . We full-time and we have 700 watts of solar 2x 135 amp lithium batteries. A 1600 inverter/charger a b to b . Which is needed for off grid. As for the electric oven, and electric fridge it won't happen.
Why do van builders always fit blackout blinds the wrong way round? This does not make sense, the blind should come from the top down so you can block the sun as its sets, you wouldn't fit blinds that way round in your house! Needless to say when I built my own van (see my youtube channel) I fitted the blinds pulling top down. I used exactly the same blinds as those, they are very good.
I like the blind at the bottom. You can pull it part of the way up and still see out over it while nobody can see in. This functionality is more useful to us than having a blind coming down for the few days of the year when the sun shines directly onto the tele for a few minutes in the morning or evening. The blinds blocking the bottom part of the window also means that the dogs can't see people walking past and start bark8ng at them.

What is the size of the bed when it is made up?
Good question, I was wondering too. It doesn’t even look 6 foot long. And width wise it can’t be more than about 120cm

Listening to Kevin and Jason I think the channel should be renamed Zen and the Art of Motorhome Maintenance.Robert M Pirsig would be proud.Rusty Ade.
