    Marriage is a challenging gig, and especially without kids involved, it’s pretty clear when walking away is the best choice. Divorce should solve something. Hopefully, when Rachel gets to the other side, she will believe that it did. And thanks for encouraging listeners to sign prenuptial agreements … we need to take the stigma off them, particularly as people delay marriage and come into marriage with individual assets. Smart is sexy … and Rachel personifies smart. Kudos to Natasha for snagging the guest we’ve all eagerly waited to hear from. P.S. we also need to agree that not all people need, want, or function well in marriage. It’s not a character flaw, but rather excellent self awareness.

    I think the prenup thing is all about wanting someone's money. My prenup is keep what's yours and I keep what's mine. I don't support women depending on men for money, like even if I meet you with nothing, I prefer to help you become something so that you can rely on yourself for financial support because if a man leaves you what are you gonna do? Let a nanny look after the kids while you go and work and make money.

    A loving and supportive partner who is affectionate and prioritizes you is 99% of what most women want and need. As a woman who is also the bread winner in my relationship and has had to support my partner during unemployment, sure it would be nice if my partner made more. But I’ve had to learn that the way he treats me and takes care of me is priceless. Most women would be jealous of what I have. Lots of quality time, physical affection, emotional support, I’m his top priority, he cooks me meals, rubs my booty and caresses my body every single night, I mean the list goes on and on. I am living my best life in large part because of him.
    It’s gonna be tough to find a supportive emotionally available partner again Big Rach but I wish you the best of luck!
    Seems like they both made sacrifices for the relationship and decided it wasn’t working anymore. I just wonder, if they had been willing to stick it out for a little bit longer or compromise a little bit more could they have made it? Like Bryan, maybe your office didn’t need to be in Beverly Hills? Maybe you could have worked for someone else instead of launching a practice? And Rachel, maybe you could have lowered your high end lifestyle to ease the pressure of supporting two people on your income?
    Also, for Rachel If Bryan’s business takes off you will never get a return on your investment once you’re divorced, yikes.

    • @LA-ty2ug
      @LA-ty2ug Месяц назад +6

      First of all, you don’t know the full reason why they are getting a divorce. All you know is that they’re going through a tough divorce due to him asking for spousal support, but why does everyone think that’s why they’re divorcing? It seems that Rachel was ok being the breadwinner and allowing Bryan time to work on his business, so I don’t think that’s why they’re divorcing. No one knows what was happening in that marriage. You say your husband takes care of you and cooks for you-how do you know if Bryan did that for her? Because I have a feeling he didn’t and I could tell in interviews and public appearances that he was over her. He’s also showing his true colors right now. Also, please stop telling women they’re going to have a hard time finding someone else and that they may regret letting go of a man. No one should stay in a bad marriage due to fear of being alone and not finding someone else. Rachel said in this interview that God opened her eyes and gave her clarity-for all we know there could’ve been cheating or other issues that was happening behind closed doors. Stop judging her decision, which was mutual by the way. Bryan was the one that filed so why aren’t y’all questioning his decision and only Rachel’s?

    • @ikn8036
      @ikn8036 Месяц назад +2

      @@LA-ty2ug you’re putting a lot of words in my mouth that I never said.
      Him asking for spousal support does not indicate a “tough divorce.” Many divorces involve spousal support that’s just normal.
      I never said finances is the only reason they are getting divorced but it is very clearly a PART of the reason according to Rachel’s interview. I never said she would regret leaving Bryan or anything even close to that. I never said Bryan was exactly like my husband. I just gave an example of my experience since there are some similarities in our situations. I make way more than my husband and I’ve had to support him during periods of unemployment. I am much more of a hustler and he’s a more simple man with a type B personality. The disparity in financial contribution and “hustle mentality” can weigh on you & deteriorate the relationship even when your partner is GREAT in so many other regards. My message is not for Rachel, she’s not gonna see this. It’s for all the women out there who can relate.
      She said herself in this and previous interviews that Bryan is very supportive and emotionally available, her words not mine. She said herself in multiple previous interviews that she was able to accomplish so much because of how supportive her husband was. So there are some similarities between us.
      Also I questioned BOTH of their decisions and willingness to make sacrifices and compromises for each other.
      But you heard what you wanted to hear.
      Also everyone is out here speculating including you. You made a bunch of speculative comments in your reply so get off your high horse.

      @@ikn8036 Bryan seemed to be very supportive and she has said as much. But the fact that she seems to have ignored things with him that made her uncomfortable (red flags), probably means she realized they are incompatible. The way Bryan transformed from a publicly and supportive husband to a manipulative, vindictive liar shows that was already part of who he was. She probably saw signs of this unpleasant behavior and just brushed it off. If a relationship is draining and exhausting you, after repeatedly trying to make it work, it's time to let go.
      And the way you make it seem like Bryan didn't want that high end lifestyle as much or more than Rachel. He is the one who needed his office to be located in Beverly Hills. It's was all about the image for him, celebrity chiropractor to the stars.
      Also, if he is such a good person, why did he delete his divorce announcement a few days ago, shortly after this interview. You know, that manipulative, misleading statement making everyone think "he dumped Rachel"

      Look🙂... I'm really not trying to chase after you but you're still talking about his sacrifices, as if she didn't make any. Rachel pushed herself to exhaustion (sacrificed her mental, emotional, and even physical health) to support them both. While Bryan felt very comfortable letting her do it and praising her for working herself to death. It's hard to feel comfortable or be able to feel secure when you always have to work because you're partner can't support you or himself (year after year); especially when you're trying to start a family. A lot of people work 2-3 jobs including running a business, Bryan doesn't seem to have that hustle or work ethic in him. She simply needs her match, he wasn't it. And his petty behavior over the past few months, only confirms it was the right decision for them to part ways.

      @@ikn8036first of all, Bryan never had his own practice before going on the show-he worked at someone else’s practice with other chiropractors. He only started a business after the show when he moved to Miami with Rachel. Also, lazy isn’t the word to describe Bryan. The right word is opportunist or clout chaser. He saw an opportunity to marry a successful attorney with status and knew that it was going to improve his situation and he took it. He saw that Rachel had the means to take care of him and he relied heavily on that, which is why now he’s claiming he needs her money to maintain the lifestyle she afforded him to live. I don’t think Rachel will regret letting him go because I don’t think the money/career situation was the only reason why they’re divorcing. Listening to this interview, it seems that Rachel was very patient and willing to support Bryan financially so I don’t think that’s why it ended. I have a feeling other issues took place-cheating, disrespect, mistreatment-that also lead to the divorce. I always thought Bryan was phony and not as nice as he wants people to think he is and I’m starting to realize I was probably right. It’s better to be alone happy and at peace than in a bad marriage just so you don’t have to be alone.

      @@LA-ty2ug your attempt to make Brian look horrible on every post imaginable is hilarious. You failed miserably. Your boss babe Rach admitted that when they got married, they were equal footing. They were level. So I’m sure you won’t say she was broke, bum, and didn’t make money when she was with Brian. She was a lawyer likely making around $125k? Brian has his OWN condo in downtown Miami…in the brickell area. You know how expensive it is to live in brickell, let alone own there? So for sure he was making at least $150k.
      Big boss rach wanted the limelight just like Wendy Williams predicted. She had that limelight for a bit due to being the first black bachelorette and her extra gig. After losing her contract, what has she done since?
      Once Brian gets his settlement, moves back to Miami… he will be working again as chiropractor and making a good $125k-$150k with $1.44m in the bank. Cry harder 😂😂😂

    Great interview and it was eye opening to hear Rachel talk about the kind of man she wants in the future. Every show or interview Rachel did since coming off the bachelorette, she always said how supportive, encouraging, shy Bryan was. During Rachel backlash with Chris Harrison, her success, she always said it’s because of her supportive partner. Rachel changed her reasoning for going on the show, and was the one always saying, having kids later. After 7 years Bryan has nothing to show for closing his practice in Miami at age 39 and moved to LA and spent months searching for a location to reopen an LA office. Rachel must remember Bryan did not come with his patients so how can he make money. I’m sad but I feel bad for Bryan bcuz he’s in his 40 and has to start over. He has lost lost of money while Rachel did income increased and she spends more money than Bryan that what she said. Overall it was beautiful to watch but even if Rachel had pick Peter that relationship would not have lasted either.

      I think they both were emotionally supportive of each other. I think Bryan is a little too laid back with how he handles his business and that is part of the reason for his lack of success. The business he started in Miami (after they moved back there) was with Rachel's emotional and financial support. It was the first time he had his own practice because before the show he worked in a group practice. She has helped him twice realize his dream of having his own practice. I mean she can't run the business for him.
      He'll be fine. He will receive something and then they both can move forward.

      Bryan is being ridicules, He doesn't deserve part of her income, Bryan is a doctor, what doctor needs financial support from their spouse. He is asking for money for one of two reason. 1. He filed for divorce out of pettiness, He really don't want the divorce, because he knows Rachael is not willing to agree to give him spousal support. or 2. He is what Dean and Peter was saying about him on the show and Rachael's family didn't believe his sincerity.

      Bryan’s issue is he’s desperate to have his own business but it’s failing. If he went back to working in a group practice like he was before the show, he would be making over 6 figures. But he feels entitled because Rachel makes more money than him and he thinks because he came off a tv show with followers, he should have more and earn more opportunities. I think he’s petty and it’s tripping him up.

    The court should look at his income over a period of five years to see how many years he actually made $1300 a month. I think she left her job and went to Miami to be with him. What was he making then?

      And you got that from what? She literally said she didn't get a prenuptial agreement because we followed love not business. With their "nasty" divorce she has learned "her" lesson. Just like anyone going through a divorce you learn lessons. They went into the marriage with love and according to "reports" he is leading with money so how can one say she is when he is the one flipping the script. Just interested

    How can you be very understanding but not patient? Per what Rachel said.
    She did a podcast with someone and talked briefly about her sex life with Bryan and at the end of her statement she made reference to telling Bryan to just go watch some porn. Whether she was joking or not, what a disrespectful statement to her husband. She gave us a peak into what was really going on in their relationship. I feel for both of them.

      This was a wonderful conversation between Rachel and Natasha. Natasha did an excellent job. Rachel was extremely graceful in the way she spoke about Bryan. Even though it was a mutual decision to end this relationship, he has behaved in a very petty, narcissistic and vindictive manner over the past few months.
      With her emotional and financial support, he was able to opens his own business (once in Miami and once in LA). This was something he never had before the show. He always worked for someone else and he always wanted his own. Bryan always wanted to be in LA but he was unable to financially afford it. He could have easily worked for another practice in LA. She worked her a** off to help him achieve his dream. At some point, he has to start being responsible for himself. He has an enormous amount financial assets to fall back on (something many people divorcing don't). Yet he wants her to take care of him.
      Please stop making him a victim.

      No mistake was made. Just look at how he’s treating her throughout this divorce and you can see that he’s not the perfect gentleman everyone thought he was and God only knows what was happening in their marriage in private. Also his Instagram activity and social life since the divorce has proven that Bryan is that Miami playboy that loves the ladies and nightlife that everyone could tell from the beginning during the show. He’s not any better than Rachel.

    Here’s the deal: Bryan love bombed Rachel on the Bachelorette. At the time I thought “he’s laying it on thick. Is he really that into her, or does he see the financial potential in her?” In all honesty, based on Rachel’s memoir and things she’s said over the years on her podcast, it seems like she forced herself to consider marrying outside of her race. She spent most of her memoir talking about her last ex boyfriend who is Black. It’s not 100% surprising this marriage didn’t work.

      @teresamarie7460 whatttt how did you get that from her comment? Interesting. All they said is that Rachel "may" have entered this interracial relationship yes loving her pattern but possibly with hesitation. Her past experiences may have been only with her own race. Being the first black Bachelorette and one choicing to "leave" with someone that doesn't look like her is a layering we will never understand from "her" perspective. At the end of the day we will never know but no one ever aluded to anything remotely to what you are implying.

    I’ve never heard this podcast, but the interviewer is… idk the whole I’m not paying just bc sounds very entitled and that’s what’s wrong with society nowadays… women expect men to be financially superior and reject the idea of focusing on values more. Also, I appreciate how Rachel spoke neutrally about her partner and is taking the mature high road. This girl talking about how much her face cost….. girl… how condescending honestly to your date and rude. She’s really focused on money. Way to make Rachel feel some type of way especially given her situation. Idk just weird

    • @jamillabrownell6053
      @jamillabrownell6053 Месяц назад +5

      I actually understand about the face part. Men expect us to look like a 10 and like to pretend we can just wake up like that. And I’m sure there are people who can BUT realistically speaking most of us don’t.
      I also being a married woman with 3 kids feel finances are SO important. Being on the same page is SO important. There’s nothing wrong with having expectations regarding what you expect. It doesn’t mean someone HAS to be okay with what you believe BUT to have a lasting marriage I believe that kind of honest reflection of expectations is important.

      100% agree which is why she is single. She a cute lady but by no means does she fit the type of woman those men she admitted to who are 0.0025% of the USA male population will marry. Those men definitely will have much more options of women and likely will cheat.
      Women want those men but expect those men to be faithful or one dating them. In reality those men have all the options and they will exercise those options. They’re more likely to cheat and women don’t want to deal with those consequences.

    Rachel is clearly less than smart. I don’t care how “in love” someone is. That’s Lawyer 101! You would think someone who practiced law would make someone sign a prenup from day one! This just proves my initial view of Bryan. He love bombed Rachel because he was also after her money. Sad…

      Things would’ve been much worse if they had kids. Who was going to take care of the finances while Rachel is pregnant and on maternity leave? Also, he’s probably mad she didn’t give him kids because if she did, he would’ve been able to file for child support too and get much more money from her. Most men don’t want to have children unless they’re financially stable and their career is established. The fact that Bryan still wanted kids even though he was only making $1,600 a month is questionable. He’s very sketchy.
