That's cool. I've heard of Argonaut but haven't been there yet. But that seals it. I've gotta go. Keep this up. These videos are an honest walkthrough and are super helpful for every Bourbon fan. Safe travels my friend 🥃
Cool store,as a senior,I have tasted bourbons and whiskies from everywhere,I like to experience tastings,it gives me a chance to compare what I make, yes I have have a column and reflux,in about a month I'm going to batch a couple of new ones, outrageous hobby.
Im happy and sad you highlighted Argo's. I'm a Denver kid that has been copping bourbon from them for over 2 decades. Love the channel. You just blew them up even more. Can't wait for your review of that laws.
Love you repping Colorado stores. Cool video good whiskey selection !! Got to try Molly's off Arapahoe and I 25 that place is real good today just picked up Buffalo Trace Single Barrel store pick 👍🏻🥃🐃
I've been a big Molly's fan for a while. Great selection (I've even found EHT/ER on the shelf at basically MSRP) and they have a fun monthly whiskey bottle pick club, too (I've gotten OA107, Russells, Green River, Buffalo Trace, 4R barrel proof, etc, some early access to bottles like Midwinter's Night, OF barrel proof, and the ability to join some store pick tastings).
Argonaut is one of the best stores in the country, i have some picks from there that im happy to have but im going to miss them when they are gone. I moved out of CO last year and im missing it via this video.
Still Austin Cast Rye is a must for me. I own the regular and LOVE it easily a 7.2/10 for me. I have sampled the cast version and it is a solid 8.2/10 for me. It is a non minty rye at cast strength and tastes like an 8 year old after only 4 years. Grab it!
hey great video, will have to stop by next time I am in town. that still austin rye is awesome, and I say that not being much of a rye drinker. but hits my palate right. So how was that Laws Rack House? It sounds like something I would love to try. cheers
Do you know what one thing I've noticed so far for Colorado? It seems like no matter the company, you cannot get a bottle delivered here to Colorado Springs from inside of Colorado. It for some reason says "cannot deliver to that address"... you got any answers to as why that is? I mean I've yet to find a store that would deliver a bottle that I was interested in to my address from some where else in Colorado to Colorado Springs
@ZA1KLONB I'm guessing that if ordering from denver they would actually have to ship it. They probably have a delivery range like a pizza place does and only stays local within a few miles. I personally haven't ever had liquor delivered from anywhere so that's just my guess.
@@Wiskeyer Appreciate that because there's a couple of bottles I definitely wanted to try out that are Colorado based companies and they'll not ship their bottles to me inside of Colorado. Mainly the company Spirit Hound that has won the top honors slot two out of the last three years for the International Spirits Competition in London for their Single Malt Whisky
@@SmokedTamaleAlan Yeah I'm not sure either on this subject which is why I asked but I'm guessing you're either correct or there's some sort of liquor law for Colorado companies that they cannot deliver their liquor to Colorado residents without some type of licensing. I've really wanted to try a company called Spirit Hound that's based in Lyons, Colorado towards their products(mainly their Single Malt Whisky that's won many awards in competitions here the past few years) and they've a few other types that I want to try like their cask strength and they've even a cafe(coffee) flavored liquor and so forth
If I remember correctly I might just be a default on the website from local laws because I know for a while I ran into the same trouble with stranahan's website but I ended running into a pr higher up staff person if I remember correctly at tasting event on there day off and asked them about it they said look into it then a few weeks later I could order online if I choose to instead of going to a store or distillery it was like ether last year or the year before
@@codyking1001 what is that even supposed to mean 🤣 majority of stores I showcase are locally owned small businesses and we talk about their store picks and shelf products….

Love Argo, wish it wasn’t an hour away so I can make the table drops, but they really do it fair there. The best store in Colorado for sure!

There's quite a few good liquor stores in the Denver Metro area and thank you for highlighting one of them.
Thank you 🥃

Those Still Austin Cask Strengths, both rye and bourbon are fantastic
I got a Blantons gold and Russel’s pick that day - things go quick
Enjoyed this video! I’ll have to plan a visit when I’m in the area.
