The idea is that the ligaments heal and the Tightrope is then redundant. It will just “sit there” not doing anything. In theory it could be removed but second surgery seems unnecessary
@@theshoulderguy1 great to hear that the ligaments are going to heal, saw some posts online that say that some unfortunately won’t heal… maybe I’m googling too much. Anyway, thanks for the response!
Like all operations there are failures. Most of these are technical errors with incorrect implant position or poor patient selection (chronic case, non compliant)
I have a 16 millimeter separation of my ac joint 6 months after shoulder rebuild with tightrope and cadaver tendons. How could this be fixed? Could the tightrope be tightened? Thank you
I had this operation in 2016 i have RTG but if it posiible to hear your opinion
What surgery type would you recommend after 1 year of 4grade ac joint separation ?
This would need an additional reconstruction such as weaver-Dunn. A Tightrope alone would not be enough at this time.
Is it necessary to get tight rope after surgery
I'm sorry, I don't quite understand your question. It is not necessary to have the Tightrope removed after surgery to put it in.
Thanks for the video. Just had this surgery yesterday!
What happens with the rope in the following years since it’s not going to be removed?

Excellent
Sir we did this surgery after 6 months of the accident . Sir is it too late or okay ???
I would be carat anxious at 6 months. The technique is designed for the management of acute injuries (
