I thought of that but figured hot water goes through it 😂so let’s try it. Plus, I moved the valves as far away from the heaters as possible so it was less heat the further away from the heater the cooler the pipe by the time it goes outside it’s not hot at all. They’ve actually held up quite well. Even if it fails within a year or two I’ll just replace it and it’ll serve its purpose. Plus the valves that stop the gases from going back into the heaters are further down then the flow of exhaust gas so it’s much cooler it doesn’t get hot near those valves at all and then when the heaters are running, the valves are far enough away from the heater that it doesn’t get too too hot

Are thise ball valves rated for hot gasses? Id imagine the plastic bushing would melt
