Leftovers? Doesn’t Taste That Way!

Welcome to our channel! We’re Dan and Sharon, an interabled couple who have been married for almost 39 years. Despite Dan being a quadriplegic for the past 6 years, and the medical challenges that come with that, we live a full, rich life, and we’re here to show that it’s possible! Through our vlogs, we share our day-to-day experiences, offering a glimpse into our journey together. Our goal is to build a supportive community where we can exchange information, share stories, and bring attention to the lesser-known challenges faced by people with disabilities. Dan is a trained chef, who has always liked to cook, and a culinary arts teacher before he retired. He still loves hopping into the kitchen - now he is the executive chef, and we are the sous chefs. Turkey tetrazzini is an Ertz family favorite, which showed up on the day after any turkey related holiday, including but not limited to Easter, Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Me too. I tried “cooking for one” (Dan doesn’t eat food) but I can’t seem to make a small quantity, lol, so I pass food out to our kids and Dans nurses! 🤣
