They could still work in some brand new element(s), but it would offer a ride experience that isn't really available at that park right now.
Replace Wicked Twister with a Mack Power Splash. Use that as an excuse to replace Snake River Falls with a new coaster that also uses the Shoot the Chutes plot, and uses some airspace over Millennium Force. Plenty of space to put literally anything there.

Yeah I agree about the boardwalk thing cuz I've kind of thought about that myself that that would be a good idea I feel like cuz you could even add in food vendors there like spaces for food vendors to rent out like different type of food festivals, food carnivals, micro brewers, etc.
If they want to run winterfest in the future, then they need some stuff at the front of the park that can run in the cold, like a dark ride or wooden gci.
Dark rides they had in the past... Earthquake in the Arcade building area, and the Pirate Ride the old building next to BlueStreak. Both are gone now... along with the fun house that was part of the million dollar midway expansion of the past. All great attractions for Families... but now gone...
@@Lkendrick I mean, they could always increase capacity by having two trains load at once, and having the same length train as Jersey Devil. Or up it to a T-Rex.
Unlikely scenario here but If we are looking at clues from the video they keep showing shots of Mantis which is a B&M. Based on that, it will be a B&M Flyer. Although it wouldn't go in that spot very well. They also show a picture of MaXair which is Zamperla Discovery. If we are going Zamperla, a new Double Heart Coaster would fit in this spot and would be a record breaker as the tallest / fastest coaster of it's kind. However I feel going from an Impulse to a Double Heart or a Sky Rocket II would be a bit redundant. Or they could just be showing random pages in the book with no clues at all.
What you all have to remember is that they built the entire Millennium Force 7 Months from ground up. So anything is possible at this point. What ever they are building won't be at that massive scale. but they can be setting footers for new ride when they dismantle and move others. Lots of planning but if any park can do it, it would be Cedar Point. I have faith that we will see a new ride for 2022.
I think a good candidate for this plot of land would be an S&S free spin. As of my time of viewing, one was just announced at King’s Dominion; both Steel Vengeance and Twisted Timbers were announced in the same year iirc? Complete speculation but I wouldn’t doubt they would do that again for 2022. An S&S free spin could use pretty much the same footprint as wicked twister, and they could shoot for ‘world’s tallest/fastest/etc free spin’. It would also be a pretty unique addition imo
I honestly think we can see a Gravity Group shuttle woodie. It would pay homage to Cyclone and Wicked Twister with it being wooden and a shuttle. It could open as the tallest wooden coaster to go backwards. Plus we saw that Cedar Fair would be willing to work with Gravity Group due to the leaked plans for Dorney. They could even throw in an inversion if they wanted to.
The Giant Faris wheel has been in *more than one* location at CP throughout it's lifetime . It is a movable attraction that can be relocated. I'll say what I don't want to see, a Mack or Intamin power splash style ride. No, no, no! I think any one of your suggestions would be great fun. I really like the idea of a Infinity. With their lighting package they're not only great fun but a sight to see as well. A larger single rail could work, a MACK extreme spin, modern wooden or even a S&S Axis. Regardless of what they decide I hope it's a new coaster. You can't claim you're Americas rocking rolling coast and not have the most coasters.
I’ve heard they are just opening it up for a view but I would be cool to see them make a boardwalk and give it a boardwalk theme with a hang time type ride
At this point I'm sick of seeing the multi-pass launches on coasters at this point, Ice Breaker has that completely pointless initial backwards launch that could easily be cut out of the experience and not change much of anything other than make the ride cycle shorter. Save that for the small/compact models like Wicked Twister or the Sky Rocket II model, it just feels like padding on a coaster like Pantheon, they could have probably done more with that lackluster and unnecessary addition if they didn't go with a multi-pass launch. I'm still firmly in the GCI named Cyclone camp for the history, plus it would fit with both the announcement video of removing it and pay tribute to the park's history as well as fill the void in the park's lineup. Plus it could visually be like the Giant Dippers in California, which would tie in VERY nicely with an overhaul of the area. Also rumors seem to indicate that the Giant Wheel will be moved to MaxAir's location after that ride gets removed for the issues it's apparently had, plus the other smaller rides could be moved as well. So that's a pretty sizeable plot of land, plus they could possibly pull a Gold Striker and have some element of the ride go around Windseeker if they wanted to (maybe a fan turn instead of a drop). I don't see this featuring inversions more than I do it being a traditional wooden coaster through and through. As for the B&M flyer, the plot that Orion wasted would have been a much better fit than that mistake. Instead of an uninspired giga that King's Island never needed you could have had a very long flying coaster that took all the records aside from maybe length, probably wouldn't look anywhere near as good as F.L.Y. (then again that's not a fair comparison in the slightest), but it would be an objectively better addition for the park than Orion.
I’m kind of annoyed that people complain still about Orion “not being a giga”. The only reason people wanted Orion to be better was so they could brag they have a better Giga than Carowinds. 😒 Orion could have been longer yes, but it’s still a roller coaster. People should be thankful as some parks like Valleyfair or Michigan’s Adventure pretty much get nothing.
Someone told me a worker told them that all of the flat rides in that area will get relocated else where in the park! Those 3 flats are Tiki Twirl and Troika, Giant Wheel! That’s just a rumor!
I've heard that the Giant Wheel will be moved to where MaxAir is and that ride getting removed, but that's an EXCELLENT plot for a GCI woodie named Cyclone, take out the arena thing and you have a healthy plot of land, bonus points if you pull a Gold Striker and have the main drop wrap around Windseeker like Gold Striker's drop wraps around the observation tower. Cedar Point needs a modern wooden coaster before they need a a single-rail.
They can always move Giant Wheel, or like other parks have done, build a coaster around it. You just need the turnaround to not block the view of the lake when riding the Ferris Wheel.
DON'T FORGET!! The current location of the.Big Wheel, is NOT its original location... The ORIGINAL location, was directly in front of the Frontier Train, next to Iron Dragon! CP has NNOOOO issues, with removing Wicked, moving Tiki Twirl, moving Troika, AND moving the Big Wheel (again)... ALSO, stop everything you're thinking right now, and PULL OUT THE MAP.... That Peninsula is dotted ALL the way around - with BAD ASS "STUFF", EXCEPT - ONE SPOT. SO.... WHAT do you say NOW???
I don’t see a flying coaster coming to cedar point in the position of wicked twister, there simply isn’t enough land and they already have a invert and wing coaster in close proximity to it.
Maybe they would put the Ferris wheel on the plot of Wicked Twister. I know this isn't a portable Ferris wheel but i don't think a Ferris Wheel is that expensive to move. It would make for a very nice plot of land
I know I’m 11 months late but I think the best coaster they could replace Wicked Twister with is a launch coaster similar to GaleForce at Playland’s Castaway Cove built by S&S. It’s compact, exciting, smooth, and could fit perfectly into Wicked Twister’s plot of land. And if Maverick is proof of anything, it doesn’t need to be record breaking to be popular. But I do think it should at least be taller and faster than GaleForce.
I don't know if anything can really take Wicked Twister's place since it didn't take up much space. A good flat ride might fill the spot. I just hope Wicked Twister isn't being completely dismantled, it could easily fit into one of Cedar Fair's lesser parks (maybe with a new paint job and name if they really want to make it seem brand new for a park).
1. CP is not gonna replace WT with another low capacity ride! 2. They have and can make more room over there then you think! They took out the aquatic before the 2018 season and can relocate the Tiki Twirl, Troika and the Giant Wheel! 3. No for a B&M Flyer at CP they have very slow operations and have capacity problems! I experienced it at SWO with Manta very slow operations and capacity was a issue! 4. They also removed the picnic pavilion by Raptor so they could move the Giant Wheel over there! 5. MaxAir is rumored to get removed!
I don’t think a new coaster will replace Wicked Twister next year. The markings in Frontier town show that a coaster is likely there in 2022. I would expect anything from a Gerstlauer to a Mack to a B&M surf coaster to a GCI. I lean toward a B&M surf or a Mack Rides coaster. The Boardwalk area could have a Gerstlauer like Hangtime and a family woodie like the one for Dorney, if that does indeed get built. The woodie can run down the beach along the parking lot. The Gerstlauer Infinity would be one of the anchors for the Boardwalk. CP will get some family coasters to complement the thrill rides. The Boardwalk area will be a multi year expansion. The first coaster will likely be in 2024, but they may surprise with back to back coasters in 2022 and 2023.
Yes it is late to start a new coaster, but there are 2 things everyone is missing. 1. In 2018 when they demolished the stadium, they walled up the area and spent a ton of time, well into the season working on infrastructure where it was. A lot of stuff has been done already, you just can't see it without thinking with your minds eye. Number 2, and it is the big one....CF announced during their earnings call that in order to save money, most if not all future construction will start in Q4. This will save them money on construction costs. Thin more sic flags than Cedar Fair. Rides may not open for opening day like they have in the past. They already stated that this was the case, at least for this year and maybe moving forward. Has construction started at SFFT....no, because we all all the expectation their Dive won't open until next summer. Reset your expectations for CF as well......rides may not open for opening day moving forward.
i think the giant wheel is getting removed too 3:36 its also highlighted, maybe max air too since it hasn't opened this year and when she's reading the book in the vid looking at debunked coasters, max air is their. I think that whole area might get removed.
To all the people on here what would you think about them putting another wooden roller coaster like Blue streak there? I'm just wondering if they would have the room? Or maybe put another log fume ride there maybe like a smaller one if you don't want to go on the big one.
my cedar point fantasy is for a big crazy boardwalk coaster with sections of track low close to the water, though i like the idea of paying homage to wicked twister. id love to see a modern woodie in its plot because i just love wooden coasters right on the beach but i dont know how likely that is, if CF would consider it too similar to steel vengeance
I'm kinda falling for the idea of a Mack Power Splash to give the park another water ride before the inevitable end and possible of the others in the park.
I think that great adventure might be closer but idk if not they are an equal length apart. I would not want to drive 6 hours to ride a flying coaster.
What about an intamin ultra surf. It fits in the plot of land and it adds a spinning coaster to the park. To add to that, it would also fit in with a boardwalk/surfing theme
Kinda off the wall, but I honestly think they'll remove the show stage by millennium force and put a new stadium for shows along the beach where wicked twister is now.

Good points! But why are you yelling!
@@j.johnson7891 I'm not yelling lol
They should make a coaster like firehawk at kings island, and you glide above the water laying on your chest 😲
I was super bummed when King’s Island removed that ride, and also disappointed when I found out that Gatekeeper was a winged coaster and not a flyer.
5:41 I wouldn't be mad about it.
I don't even understand why cedar point got rid of wicked twister in the first place? Were they having problems with the ride?
I’d like to see a 200ft flying coaster in that location! 🏖
The first coaster will likely be in 2024, but they may surprise with back to back coasters in 2022 and 2023.
your quality got better , what did you change ?
Did anyone notice she stopped on the Mantis page? She's on the beach? Gotta be a surf coaster.
Honestly probably a raptor if max air gets removed as well
Spinning coaster called Sandstorm - pay Darude it's royalties and there's your wait music 😝
I already know what’s going there already
i think the giant wheel is getting removed too 3:36 its also highlighted, maybe max air too since it hasn't opened this year and when she's reading the book in the vid looking at debunked coasters, max air is their. I think that whole area might get removed.
To all the people on here what would you think about them putting another wooden roller coaster like Blue streak there? I'm just wondering if they would have the room? Or maybe put another log fume ride there maybe like a smaller one if you don't want to go on the big one.
THEYRE TEARING IT DOWN ON MY BIRTHDAY LMAO
A 4d free spin ahem... Or an impulse.or a large El loco.
I loved wicked twister
I've heard they are moving big wheel, removing max air, and replacing WT with a 2 story restaurant.
Crap I liked max air
At the winter chillout CP said they had a project for 2022. They also said the same thing on a Christmas video of theirs
If they want a good coaster in a small thin plot of land three words SKYROKET TWO CLONE
my cedar point fantasy is for a big crazy boardwalk coaster with sections of track low close to the water, though i like the idea of paying homage to wicked twister. id love to see a modern woodie in its plot because i just love wooden coasters right on the beach but i dont know how likely that is, if CF would consider it too similar to steel vengeance
maverick 2: wooden boogaloo
Yeah I don't see them putting anything large and significant in that place by next year.
I for that plot of land I can see a single rail going in that spot
Put an rmc single rail!
Woodin maverick that was the mean streak that's y they had to change it to steal vengeance
I’m expecting a record breaking skyrocket
I don’t think cedar fair and premier have ever worked
@@cedarflags what about the flight of fears at KI and KD
@@rush17489 those were installed when Paramount owned those parks
@@Stagnant_Gravy Oh my bad
@@cedarflags oh I didn’t know that my bad
I was literally at cedar point when you posted this vid with is for me yesterday I also rode wiked twister when I was there
I'm kinda falling for the idea of a Mack Power Splash to give the park another water ride before the inevitable end and possible of the others in the park.
First to 200.
First to 300.
First to 400.
First to 500. That has to be the gold standard.
According to Tony Clark they are refurbishing Castaway Bay and adding a new high end restriction in 2022
I think that great adventure might be closer but idk if not they are an equal length apart. I would not want to drive 6 hours to ride a flying coaster.
They have moved the wheel before and I was told many times this weekend by employees that it is going to get moved again.
5:33 Counter point: Why would Cedar fair care if the enthusiasts are mad? Anger is what most Thoosies feel all the time due to entitlement.
Yeah I think they look more at the gp, cause it's not the enthusiasts they make their money from, it's the gp
What about an intamin ultra surf. It fits in the plot of land and it adds a spinning coaster to the park. To add to that, it would also fit in with a boardwalk/surfing theme
They don't rlly work with Intamin
they're gonna add a 500 foot sky rocket 2 mark my words
i- wtf😂
Imagine lmao
@@bourne8636 lol
they did clear a bunch of room by blue streak pavilion. they could move the wheel to that area'
I wouldnt mind seeing a new record breaking skyrocket model
it seems like something like dragon slayer in adventure land would really fit in the red
They could get an el loco coaster if they still manufacture them
It could be the Power Splash with a loop, with the turntable station would help capacity.
Kinda off the wall, but I honestly think they'll remove the show stage by millennium force and put a new stadium for shows along the beach where wicked twister is now.
I'm betting on RMC raptor or the first T rex if they have the room there for the T rex. Plenty of room for the raptor.
imagine getting a heart from cedar flags
Oh my gosh I did it
I think it can easily be a version of jd
