The fact that Joe Strummer's last bag of weed is in an actual museum is epic! You have no idea how happy that made me to know that exists! Thank you Adam❤
I'm not into punk music, so I was just watching without really getting into anything until they pointed out the keyboard from Wesley Willis! How could you not love that guy's music! Rock over London, Rock on Chicago, Las Vegas, It's the home of the Punk Rock Museum
I'm not into punk rock, or at least I didn't think I was, then I recognized so many bands that I did listen to in the 90s and 00s. It was enjoyable to listen and watch how excited Adam was about all the band's, equipment, and everything.
You can tell that Adam was like a kid in a candy store. You can tell that he is having a blast at the museum. Glad that it was awesome!😀 I'm not into punk rock, but that shirt looks sweet!
Thanks Adam that was a very cool tour of the museum and not to mention the added bonus of Dani coming along. Thanks for all you do Mr Woo! Much appreciation.
Thank you for walking around the punk rock museum, I hope I can go there, I'm Tomi, greetings from Indonesia and I'm a disabled person who likes punk rock music!
Yes you nailed it stepping into the punk rock museum and I really found it quite interesting and it truly brought back so many memories of bands but two groups you may not have mentioned were Bad Brains and DRI also it was nice seeing you play the bass which made me think of the bass you bought with an amp not that long ago and I’m wondering if you might get back on it after going to that museum now I want to say it was so awesome seeing Dani again because one I follow her channel an she’s such a nice person oh the shirt you got is killer and it sure is going to look good on you thanks again Adam I really enjoyed the museum as much as you now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next awesome Adam the daily woo adventure also I wanted to tell you as many times as you’ve done videos on places you’ve grew up with being shut down we’ll here in my area SoCal right around the corner from my house a restaurant called Spires closed down on May/26/ 23 after 50 years of being in business and it was so sad so may locals went there plus the inside had a 70s decor man sometimes change can hurt as you know, well what’s taking its place is two eateries with outdoor seating thanks so much peace ☮️ out ✌️
Wow, so much history. You really don’t realize you are living through it when it’s happening. This brought back so many memories for me. Punk has always been too underrated.
Thanks for sharing all this. So much more than advertised. Vegas has never been my thing but once I heard this was being curated, this made Vegas a must. It’s on the list!
The first time that I saw a Punk band live was at Lollapalooza in 1996. I saw the Ramones, Rancid and Devo in one day. It changed my taste in music. I bought tickets to see Soundgarden and Metallica headline. Don't get me wrong both of those bands were good that night. The Punk bands on the second stage are what I think about years later. Edit: Devo was a new wave band that had it's roots in the Punk scene.
Fun fact: I was on the receiving end of Joey Ramone's spittle at the San Bernardino (CA) Swing Auditorium in December of '78 ... front & center in the mosh pit. I was thrilled to find a bootleg (audio) recording of the show on RUclips recently! The unfortunate fact was they were opening for Sabbath, and the crowd was overwhelmingly pro-metal/anti-punk. Joey called off their set about 20 mins in when it became dangerous (whiskey bottles crashing through the drum kit, etc.). There are articles online with more details of the show ... would love to find an "I survived ..." t-shirt of the concert!
Every new thing you showed i just started yelling. This is such a cool museum - this is gonna be a must visit for me next time I'm in Vegas. Totally worth the wait!
What an awesome museum love when you do vlogs like this please do more this is very important for people to remember these artists.Thank You for sharing this
Great video!!! Had quite a few punk rocker band buddies when I was fronting Michigan, so it was a cool stroll down memory lane!?! Awesome!! Loved hearing you play!!! Attaboy, Adam the Woo!!!
I visited last month when in town for the Green Day pop up show in Vegas, this video took me all the way back and I enjoyed this video just as much as visiting the museum myself. Great work!
Awesome video, man. This place is the true Rock N Roll-Hall of Fame museum (for me) lol. I’ll never get tired of punk/hardcore music of the early roots!! Still the best music to give me that drive and energy!
Whaow, great tour SO much to see. That Jam Room is an especially insane concept to me, like how? How are they allowing that?! I definitely need to play Joan Jett's guitar -- and then I want to blare out "Rock and Roll McJam Room! Rock and Roll McJam Room! Rock and Roll McJam Room! Rock and Roll McJam Room..." on Wesley's friggin keyboard. ..haha. Also it was so fun to finally see Woo playing bass too, he was definitely in his element tbere ✌️
This is amazing, so much history all in one place. And love him or hate him, personally I love fat mike and nofx is my favorite band, but this entire place is all thanks to him. This is all stuff that should absolutely be preserved, so it's so fucking cool to see it all come together. God I really need to make it out to Vegas again, I wanna go to the museum so bad. One day for sure, thanks for the tour!
Oh how I whish the guitar was plugged in so we could have heard Adam play , I wasn't into Punk but was so pleased Adam got to see the Museum , Awesome Episode as always .
I was there on opening day. Took the first tour of the museum. Fat mike was the host. Saw so many legends casually hanging out. Saw flea of the chili peppers standing right next to me in that first room. Cool experience.
Burst out crying when you showed Wesley Willis' keyboard... I went to one of his shows, and he gave me a triple head butt. I was told by one of his handlers that he would rately give a triple head butt, so I felt pretty special. He died a few weeks later. 😢 Never forget you, Wesley.
That was fantastic and would love to visit that museum .I was a bit young for punk in London but got into the new wave and the 2 tone ska movement that had punk overtones and got into the clash and the pistols a little later. Brilliant video matey.
HEY ATW...TODAY'S EPISODE MORE THAN MAKES UP FOR the Punk Rock Bowling Fiasco! The amount of punk rock paraphernalia quite actually was amazing. The material available for interactive enjoyment totally put this museum over the top! You proved you bought-in! Thanks for a great morning. BTW...your sunglasses are crooked again. Probably from when you dropped them. Aviator sunglasses are notorious for that.
Hi Adam good morning 🌞glade you got to go into the punk rock museum, glade your friend could join you. Lol thanks for sharing stay safe and take care 🙏😎📸
Thanks for sharing. It made me listen on YT some of the bands I liked in high school continued through college, like Stray Cats, The Smiths, Depesh Mode, The Ramones, The Cure. Actually, I just learned The Cure recently performed at the Hollywood Bowl this past month. Last month also Depesh Mode, as well as the Violent Femmes. Nice museum. Thanks again.
Always good seeing Dani on your videos Las Vegas Baby 🎸🎉 punk rock was so big back then 😊 i have seen people do walking tours for tourist and personal tours by appointment might be a side business for Dani... I know id have no idea if i went to Vagas someone to show me around id happily pay for... 😅
Thanks for this video, Adam. I was in Vegas last weekend (for AEW pro wrestling) and walked from the Strat to the Punk Rock Museum (not a fun walk!) only to find a massive queue outside the museum due to people being in town early for Punk Rock Bowling so I didn’t make it inside!
Awesome! I was also there over the weekend to check out the museum. Thanks for the free tour! I think it's 100 bucks for a tour guide. We did the 30 bucks admission. Amazing museum. Thanks!
Wow Adam that took my back to the early 90's growing up in the West Palm Beach area. Rancid, Op Ivy, NOFX, Guttermouth, MMBosstones and many more. I was definitely an early Warped Tour punk rock era kid- I think we knew similar bands being both being in Florida and all. WJRR radio station played them all. Thanks for sharing.
Yea Dani ! I love it when she is adventuring with Woo . This is so punk rock ! #thinbydrangoncon #challengeaccepted #yodelheehoo #nopriceistoohighforDisney
I grew up on MXPX, Misfits, Pennywise. etc. Looks like a cool place. Playing Mike's bass is just badass. As soon as you said Guttermouth "Lucky the Donkey" started playing in my head.
looks awesome! I wanna go now. At first I thought I'd be cheezy but it really isa cool how you can touch the instruments and everything in general was cool. That Pennywise rehearsal space is "chef kiss". Their self titled album was my introduction to punk and it changed my life forever
@@TheDailyWoo after watching this, I just listened to the Self Titled and it's still just as good as always. A masterpiece. Im exited to see them in St Petersburg with NOFX in a couple months
I need to get out there to see that. Loved seeing Brian Coakleys guitar (Cadillac Tramps). I dialyzed at the same clinic with Mike “Gaby” Gaborno before he passed away. Great seeing you playing some bass. Maybe we will see you on the stage again at some point.
Always love your content! You’re amazing! But when you quoted “Don’t forget the struggle, don’t forget the streets”… that was Warzone. RIP Raybeez! But you have great knowledge on our punk rock scene! Much love, Adam!
