The seat and adjustable umbrella mount are actually for sitting in the shade while waiting on the group ahead to each spend 5 minutes lining up their putts for double bogey!
Great video, very professional. Biggest question though is which accessories do you have to remove in order to fold the cart up properly? Not very handy if you’re constantly putting these on and off all the time!
Great video. Here for the seat review. Large cooler is nice, can’t justify the $60 price tag. Large accessory bag is nice, should be standard. Hard to justify $30 w/o shipping for mesh fabric.
Lots of extra accessories, some are well thought out, however the outrageous cost of some of these items comes from the Porsche school of options. The BagCozy actually should come standard with the carts as half the bags people have are stand bags. Actually a system to hold these bags should be automatically integrated to the top strap support. Current price (2023) of the BC is $50
This is super! Such a super list of super accessories to accessories with!! Nothin better than a super nice round of golf being helped along by a super really strong cart and accessories. Super.
I think the seat would be really useful for kids competitions where the group in front of you might be really slow so you can rest you legs, i often just sit on the wheel if its good weather but you cant do it in muddy or rainy weather
I have the seat in case of a heavy rain and the course stops play. I can sit under the umbrella and wait it out if possible. Only had to do that twice.
This all seems very well thought out I like the cooler bag and the alternative storage net. I currently own a Big Max 360 cart and have been a bit disappointed with the performance. I’ve needed to have the front wheel replaced twice and the parking brake is rubbish. Even though it comes with a 5 year warranty, the inconvenience and frustration of having to have it fixed makes me want to try something else. The Clicgear 4.0 seems to be more rugged and it’s nearly Christmas…………
Great review. However you didnt include my favourite accessory. The clicgear GPS holder. I use a GPS app on my phone & before i got the holder, it would be such a mission taking my phone out of my pocket everytime i needed to check yardage or enter a score. The holder is soooo convenient and makes using the GPS such a please. The holder itself attaches to the umbrella mount but the nice thing is you can still use the umbrella holder or steering knob or spacer etc. Definitely my favourite Clicgear accessory at the moment.
Your video grabbed my interest in purchasing this cart. My older cart with wide foam tires would pick up grass stickers. How would the tires on this cart hold up? And are the tires easily replaceable? Thanks!
I know when you get a push cart it feels like you can keep way more stuff with you. Just don’t get carried away, the weight of the accessories and the stuff they allow you to carry really adds up, defeating the whole purpose of using a push cart.
The seat has many uses on the course. Ever get a rock in your shoe? Just how did that pebble get inside your socks? Ever want to remove or put on your rain pants on in the middle of your round? How about scraping off the grass from your shoes with your divot tool? There's always a hole that backs up a foursome or two. And last but not least you are playing with a slower player (he can't help it) Sit down take a deep breath.
I’m surprised the XL cup holder doesn’t come as standard. As the smaller cup holder fits nothing except a 330ml beer bottle. Some people would rather have a water bottle with them, than a beer bottle. I’m not even sure drinking a beer bottle is even permitted on my course?!
I have a clicgear cart and some of the accessories. The cup holder is useless, It’s attached on a knob which allows it to swing, it swings too well. My water bottle fell out constantly as it swung backwards. One of the arms that holds the bottle snapped off. Into the trash it went Plus, it’s way too small to hold a 40oz hydroflask. The water cooler holder isn’t tall enough to hold anything bigger than a 16oz water bottle. Gave it to my grandson to keep in his baseball bag to store snacks. The extra netting bag I bought to hold my jacket, water bottle and snacks is a pain to get things in and out of it due to the angle it sits after being attached, but it’s better than nothing. Lastly, the umbrella holder is a joke. The rubber band that supposedly holds the umbrella in the holder only sort of works with some umbrellas that have a wide handle. It also popped off constantly. A small gust of wind yanked my umbrella right out the holder. I learned to hold onto it while pushing my cart, closing the umbrella with slightest bit of breeze or when I would take a shot. All my golf friends said it was a problem they learned deal with while playing. I got rid of it. My husband rigged a screw-type holder (vs the rubber band type), which he built up the inside of the tube for more stability, onto my cart. Haven’t had a problem yet. I will say my clickgear cart is holding up well.
Thanks for that - I went to use the umbrella holder for the first time the other week and thought I had lost significant brain capacity when the umbrella wouldn't stay attached!!
What's the point of the xl cup holder when you can just use a cooler tube to hold your cup and it keeps it cold. I would rather use 2 cooler tubes and ditch the xl cup holder entirely.
A bit late maybe, I just bought the trolley and brush. For the records, you can keep the brush on when folded for storage as long as it is mounted like in the video, side does not matter :)
Amazing how the company has thought this all out..the design engineer has really been doing a lot of thinking...all for convenience sake..what will they think of next...great video...luv it!
Also the score card holder and compartment needs to face the “driver” as it is it faces away and the clubs interfere with compartment access. And it is a bad place for the scorecard
a proshop i go to once a week has this exact on a loop with their buggies and has either the stock one or one with all the works, the guy that runs the joint says your video is making everyone want the fully customised one cause they can see how much potential it has with everything at your disposal.
I've got the 4.0 now. Does all the 3.5 accessories range fit the 4.0? I am just asking as the click gear website does not have any specific 4.0 accessories. cheers.
How many times did I hear "super" and even "super, super"!! I agree with one of the comments below that the idea of the light weight cart is diminished somewhat by all of the accessories. Most are OK but I think that the watch holder is ridiculous - watches are designed for wrists. Also, it would soon become annoying if you have to start removing accessories to fold the cart. The marketing boys have certainly been busy thinking of anything that can possibly make a few more dollars for the company. Having made my comments, I do own a Clicgear Cart and I think it is the best of its type on the market. I always thought it was a French product.
The braking system on the 3.5 is terrible. It failed on my cart and on all my buddies carts. Using the cart without brakes caused several near catastrophes. It is impossible to repair for the average do it yourselfer. Need to understand whether the problem is fixed before I put out another $260 for the 4.0.
@@neongecko3065 The handiest guy I know has tried twice to replace the brake using the parts kit and watching the video. He wasn't able to get it done. Once the cable snapped during installation, the second time it was impossible to properly adjust the tension needed to pull the front wheel brake. My buddy is spent hours on it in his workshop. I have much more limited skills, so I'll skip the frustration and but a cart with a less complex brake system. Regardless, pretty much everyone I know with the 3.5 model has had the same brake issues. Just warning the viewers.
A great review thank you for sharing. But please, please, PLEASE stop speaking with an upward inflection at the end of every sentence! Incredibly annoying.
lol. Oh Clicgear. “We made the seat hard and u comfortable, so you can buy an attachment to attach to my attachment.” No thanks. I also don’t like how you have to take every part off to collapse it. All just seems annoying.

🤘
@@A.D.D.O.C.D.T I got paired recently with someone who lined up a put for "triple" bogey.
I appreciate the down to earth, honest and unbiased review. Not some big production...just the thick of it!
The umbrella, sand holder and chair are all solid
I've had one for a couple of years now and I love the seat!! Life saver!!
Great video, very professional. Biggest question though is which accessories do you have to remove in order to fold the cart up properly? Not very handy if you’re constantly putting these on and off all the time!
That’s a super, super, super……………super review

Do you have to take most of the accessories off when folding up?
Yes
Been thinking of buying a Clicgear cart. Excellent job on describing all the accessories.
You won’t be disappointed. Been using Clicgear products for 10+ years and they are excellent quality.
I have the seat in case of a heavy rain and the course stops play. I can sit under the umbrella and wait it out if possible. Only had to do that twice.
One accessory that you should add now is the sand bottle so you can fill in your divots. I would argue that is a top 5 accessory to have.
Feel free to do your own video with your own recommendations.
Clicgear Seat Cover because even our accessories require accessories.
One accessory that I found useful was the sand bottle. Used for filling divots.
Exceptionally clear and helpful review!
This video is like a tutorial on how to shoot 120 and look good
I have the cooler bag and shoe brush. They're both great.

A Clicgear would be a great solution for you
Do you have to take off all the accessories before folding it up for storage?
How do you use the round velcro on the left side of the clicgear 4.0 ? I assume it's for the umbrella? When not in use
Great review. However you didnt include my favourite accessory. The clicgear GPS holder. Agree. I just got one and used it for the first time today. So much easier and convenient just to have it there displaying how far it is to the green.
Your video grabbed my interest in purchasing this cart. My older cart with wide foam tires would pick up grass stickers. How would the tires on this cart hold up? And are the tires easily replaceable? Thanks!
Clicgear should pay you for this video
When reinstalling wheel axle you must note it is not round so it must be correctly oriented to reinsert (Rovic 1S (2021)).
I know when you get a push cart it feels like you can keep way more stuff with you.
Just don’t get carried away, the weight of the accessories and the stuff they allow you to carry really adds up, defeating the whole purpose of using a push cart.
Seat is not just for older people. The seat is great for those round when you have to wait for every shot. You know those rounds. Great to just sit.
The seat has many uses on the course.

Do you have to remove the bracket for the wheel in order to fold up the cart? Does the wheel come with installation instructions?
Can you leave the cooler bag attached when folding it up? Or do you have to attach/detach every time?
No you have to detach it

If it isn't okay to drink a beer at your local course then I'd change courses

If I wanted to drink beer, then I’d go to a bar.
To be honest, a bar would be cheaper.
Nice review..Thanks..I need the Cigarholder
Thanks for the video. Can’t wait to get the cigar holder!

If only it had a swivel front wheel. Their other model has it but no hand brake. Why the compromise?
good information, you made my choice for push cart
What's the point of the xl cup holder when you can just use a cooler tube to hold your cup and it keeps it cold. I would rather use 2 cooler tubes and ditch the xl cup holder entirely.
Neither hold much. Read my comments above why I ditched mine.

Clicgear rain bag...?
Does the Cooler bag fit on a Rovic trundler RV1S
Can you fit a tour bag on without the bag getting damaged?
Yes
what accessories can stay attached when the buggy is folded up?
My brake are jam .. I have use it for couple of mths.
Why to fix it? Thanks
Do you have any experience with their raincover ?

The only thing I don’t take off is the net storage bag.
