I LOVE Duke Cannon. Haven't met one of their scents that I haven't liked.

Be leery of darker shade DC 🧼 they can stain or leave streaks, be hard to clean. The white or tan shades are better.
Received my first bar of Duke Cannon bourbon-scented soap last week and I am pleased. The aroma seems to last only three or four hours on my skin but I notice that I have a neutral smell, as opposed to smelling a bit malodorous, once that fragrant period is over. Definitely better than what I experienced when using body washes.
P.S. - thanks for representing the larger guys in this corner of RUclips. As a strength coach (290 lbs., 53" chest) I encounter a lot of difficulty with applying the advice from most style channels due to their body habitus being quite different from mine. I look forward to seeing more videos from you in the future.

@@TheSigmaDadLife My largest struggle is finding brands that make stylish essential pieces that are durable and fit larger measurements - feels like I can only have two of those at once. Seems like the options are to either dress like a lumberjack, go completely bespoke, or cut weight so I can buy from the brands I like without spending a fortune. It would be helpful to know if you've found brands that don't force you to compromise on these elements.

Also curious on your feedback, you mentioned you were a strength coach. I know you subscribed to my channel for style videos but if I were to upload videos on supplements I like, my favorite workout gear, favorite diets or training blocks would those be of interest to you? Or would you feel like it’s odd coming from my channel and likely not watch? I appreciate any feedback!

After using Dr. Squatch and Bearsville soaps primarily for the past few years, I picked up a ton of Duke Cannon's soaps during their Black Friday sale. They arrived yesterday and all of the bars I picked up (9 types in total) smell great. I am looking forward to trying the first of them out.

I’ve tried a bunch of their bars and my two favorites are the Buffalo Trace and midnight swim both smell great one is more Muskie and the other more like a night out with your better Half!

I love Victory and I've bought multiple bars of it. I just picked up Naval Diplomacy and Buffalo Trace today. They both smell fantastic, and I know from experience that the bars last for a long time. Bonus. I get a lot of compliments on it.

I just tried Old Navy Leaf and leather...it has suplanted my other Duke scents. I have the leaf and leather Solid Cologne and the body wash...the best!!

My favorites are Fresh cut pine and midnight swim. Leaf & Leather reminds me of my grandfather so I smell it to remind me of him, then again I don’t like smelling like someone else, it’s a great soap tho
I think that is fair especially where it reminds you of someone. Hoping to find a few more brands that people like!
Ever since trying duke cannon I will never go back to anything else. I have 4-5 bars at the moment from my first order but I just bought 5 more. Should be here in a day or 2. Been wanting to try leaf and leather so bad. Have a little piece of fresh cut pine left then I’ll start leaf and leather next. Can’t wait. Duke cannon for life. Just subscribed. I agree. I recently got a few of them and I like them a lot. Bravo Sierra is also awesome but I think the tallow in Duke Cannon soap is better for the skin plus their scents are great and it is a good value.
Glad to hear it! I wasn’t impressed with Bravo Sierra deodorant but never tried the soap.

They actually just released leaf and leather as a solid cologne. It's available on the duke cannon site. Not sure about amazon yet.

In my experience the scent is never as good when they try to transition to cologne from another product in their line which is so disappointing to me.

I'm a large guy & use Dove soap as I have dry skin so it works for me. I'm looking to try something that is good as Dove soap but will smell better.
How is this soap compared to Dove?
This is so much better both for dry skin and for smelling amazing!
They did make it into a cologne. it's called OLD GLORY. leaf and leather are the actual smells included.

I'm currently using the midnight swim fragrance soap and it smells awesome and the smell lasts way longer than Dr squatch soaps, which kinda bugs me cuz I love that Dr squatch uses more natural ingredients but I'm still a huge fan of both companies
Whenever I go to get a soap I'm looking for one that smells good and smells masculine, but I notice no matter how much of the soap I use the fragrance doesn't really stick to me, I've tried several soaps but I just don't know what to do! does anyone have any suggestions for this?
I am actually going to be reviewing Dr. Squatch and the Bourbon one is the best and longest lasting smell of any soap I have used!
Soap smells great in the shower. You won't smell like it hours later which is a turn off for many people accustomed to the overdone scents of shower gel like Axe and Old spice

Normally I use the people and blogs one.
If you open yt studio its in the advanced setting of the video
I normally categorize them as How to and style. I use software for the actual tags though.
Do any other soap companies help our veterans Other companies may be good too but I let duke cannon take my money on the fact that they help our veterans I literally just ordered a duke cannon supply drop ($75 value) thanks to your video

I am in luv with the smell of the old Milwaukee soap, but I dont like the feel while using it, feels like it dries my skin during my shower

@@TheSigmaDadLife not yet, I was looking forward to it but I cant get over the feel. Smells awesome, but it makes my skin kind of rougher? But after the shower I'm not sure my skin was dried out, but I dont like the feel in the shower. You should try Goodfellow body wash, the Orange Geranium one. Smells manly as hell and it keeps my hands smelling hours later.

I like that one as well! I found it in a store a few weeks back and really there isn’t a bad smell in the bunch! I do still prefer the leaf and leather though.
I’ve only ever used body wash. How do you use a bar of soap? Do you just scrub with it?
I just put it on my washrag like I would with a gel body wash.

@@TheSigmaDadLife - I don't know. I was wondering if it was worth the money. I have limited income and if a soap can last a month or 2 that would be great. A bonus if it smells good. At this point in life just trying to make everything last longer. Saving money getting out of debt. Lol soap is low end of money savings but still every little bit helps.

Is it all natural? I'm currently using Dr squatch and I love it...problem is the bars do not last more than a week.
It doesn't look like it is all natural. I used to be more concerned with that but have moved away from all natural products (mostly because they didn't work well for me, not for any other reason). That said I love this soap and it lasts for 3-4 months per bar so it would solve that issue for you.
@@TheSigmaDadLife I went ahead and ordered two bars with the scrubber sock, but I'll be the first to tell you that Dr squatch soap actually does work wonders for your skin. It just sucks because the bars go so quickly.

@@Will_b83 i know this is really late but for the Dr Squatch bars I just quickly and thoroughly scrub myself with a bar and then switch over a loofah or rag and it works just fine I have had all my bars last me 3 weeks but I'm looking to try this brand of soap too so far would you recommend it or no?
