Mt St Helens did not "kill a bunch of people", in fact there were only one or maybe two people who were stubbornly living on the mountain when it blew, ignoring all the warnings. It did however cause some problems with all the ash. I was living in Spokane, WA at the time and remember the ash cloud coming very well.

Bottom line: Mount St. Helens volcano exploded in a cataclysmic event on May 18, 1980, killing 57 people ! So I'd say yeah that's a BUNCH of people Einstein ! Get your facts in order prior to mocking people. SMH

That might be a killer adventure for me to purchase your van once you make it to the southern cape. I wonder how much that would cost me to take a year and drive back to the states. I'm thinking less than $2,000 per month.

    • @BarelySqueakinBy
      @BarelySqueakinBy  26 дней назад

It would be a great adventure and totally doable for less than $2000 a month. Most people take about a year and a half to do the trip, but I’m sure you could trim it down to a year if you had to. Our goal is to sell the van in South America, but we will ship it back to the states if we have to.

Well that's always the question when travelling seat-of-the-pants.
Personally, I wouldn't want to stay *quite* that close to a potential disaster -- like the saying goes "better years too early than one day too late". Ie, what is simple to do now could suddenly become very difficult - impossible later. Just my two cents. It looks like a charming and comfortable spot and perfect for exploring around though!
The Catholic church has a reputation for eradicating/assimilating the pre-existing, older faiths and building their temples atop of the former's -- kind of a 'dominance' move, and a way of showing their God's "superiority".
My views have been shaped alot recently by the research/findings of Paul Anthony Wallace (Escaping Eden, the Scars of Eden) and Mauro Biglino (head translator for the Vatican). Their work just makes too much sense to ignore and their qualifications are notable enough.
In short I'm not surprized they would build atop a massive pyramid, but it's still truly remarkable! Thanks for sharing, as always. Every video seems more vibrant than the one before!
    Cheers!...from North Vancouver
    PS -- I can't believe you didn't try the chocolate foam...smh?

We completely agree with what you are saying. The world is full of natural disasters waiting to pop off. It is best to not think too deep into it. Especially because AuBreys anxiety is high enough. If it happens it happens. We will either die or deal with the aftermath. 😅
I would definitely say it’s a power move of dominance to build a church on top of a pyramid. It is well worth seeing! Cheers Adrian!

"Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go there will be trouble
And if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know.. should I stay or should I go
" - The Clash . Good to see you crazy kids again on the road where you belong, the 5 star hotel life is nice , but when the road calls your name . It's time to put your boots out in the street . P.S. Hide a key under or around your van Jay ! Come on buddy , you know better LMAO 😂. The hotel lovin' made you soft LMAO 😂😂😂 . Ok so I came back to say one more thing, IMO I think it's a bit blasphemous to build a church on top of a pyramid. Almost exploitive to build a temple on top of a temple . But hey , that's just me ... During Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos, Mexicans spread flowers on the street to guide the souls of the dead back to their families...🙏🙏🙏 And the woman in traffic isn't selling mops Jay , she's charging to dust the ashes off your windshield silly man LMAO. That song sums it up quite well lol. Aubrey and I have gone round and round about this subject and I have argued that a hide a key just makes sense but she swears that someone will find the hide a key and steal our van one day. 😂 I got to the point of surrender and told her fine when we locked the keys in the van it will be her fault. So it finally happened. We locked the keys in the van, but it’s her fault.😢 when we return to the van that night, we did some research and discovered the reasoning for the trails of flower petals. We felt that it was best to leave it in the video because we don’t wanna be that channel that regurgitate information all the time. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thanks for being a part of our journey John see you next week. ❤
