I'm 70 now and seen a lot of collections, but this has to be the best by far. The way he has them displayed plus the amount of work invested, is nothing short of amazing. The best i've ever seen in my lifetime.

Hi Electric Hellion, Happy to read "Such an incredible collection of that man’s time and energy on display. Stunning collection" :-) My pleasure sharing with you, Lou
Those models are awesome! What a massive collection! It's hard to believe that he started his collection since he was 11 years old, and has been pursuing this hobby for his entire lifetime! Wow! What a treat Lou! I used to build models as a kid, but I got into the real deal.
My MODEL car story! As a life-long modeler, I really enjoyed this episode. Yes, a bit of a departure for you, but I like it! I could spend hours looking over Craigs collection. What a diverse and fantastic collection! This was a treat, thanks Lou!
Yeah Lou, Craig got me beat by 20 years. I started building models around 1970 or so and I'm still at it and one thing modelers have in common is that we NEVER stop learning which makes it fun because we're always challenging ourselves! Thanks Lou for this VERY COOL video and hope to see more!
That is a mind blowing model display ! WOW! Brings back memories of being in a Revelle Model Club back when I was a kid in the 70's. In particular, I remember building the Red Baron Hot Rod that was designed by Tom Daniel in 1967. I just looked it up, and it is still one of the most popular models sold today. Way to go Craig on your incredible collection !
Great model collection!! My first model was a '64 Chevy Impala 2-Door with lights in the front and rear. It was made by AMT. I bought it in 1964 when I was 13 years old. I wish I still had it. I build many car, ship and airplane models after that.

Plymouth Super Bird and the Dodge Daytona Charger!!! Daryl Waltrip Daytona will always be my favorite along with the Dodge Daytonas of the 80s and 90s. I had 3 Daytonas. An 88 an 89 and a 93! Today I drive a 2011 Dodge Challenger and have no plans of ever getting rid of it. It's my car it fits me. Forever in love with Dodge. Great collection this guy has!!!! It really does take true passion and dedication to make a collection happen like this! Congratulations on this gorgeous display Sir! Enjoy to the fullest!
Fascinating Mr. Craig Nelson's collection of scale models! And to think that he began to assemble from the age of 11; so here is, scaled down, a lifetime of passion for motorsports. At 2:37, one of my favorite drag racing cars appears, the sleek Jaguar XJR-8. It's understandable, because he chose the legendary 1963 Corvette Grand Sport as his favorite; based on the C2 Stingray platform, apparently only 5 units were ever built (which still exist in private collections) and are therefore the most coveted Corvettes of all time! Best regards, Lou!
I've been building since I was 5 years old and it has been a wonderful 39 years. I wish that we could have seen footage of Craig's stash if he has one.

What a special treat you have for us today, Lou! Having built models, I can say that to do them right, it takes weeks to patiently detail them. I can certainly appreciate the passion and end results of his collection. You have showed us a real "gear head" because he is not just confined to the real deal but in the world of his own imagination and creativity. Fantastic!
This is so amazing reminds me of my mom my mom used to build models all the time it's amazing to see somebody still has a wonderful collection of models I don't even know if they make them anymore

That man has done some fantastic work on these models. I started making car models when I was around 8 years old. However the very first model I built was of a WW2 aircraft that cost a whole 50 cents!! I was 7 years old and this was around 1961. Thanks for sharing this video. I loved looking at all of those models especially the Corvettes!
I put my first model car together when I was a kid in 65' it was a 65' Thunderbird and I quickly followed up with a 65' Imperial Crown by Chrysler. I put my last car together probably in the very late 70s. My uncle who was just 10 years older than me got me started when he showed me his custom lowrider Chevys he built probably in the late 50s or early 60s. I kept all my models until the 90s and sold all I had on Ebay as a bulk sale for $75 as an auction. Bidding started at about $20.
