OK, great visuals but there are some discrepancies, 1) Where are the War Birds shields?. After they de- cloak their shields should work normally, and 2) Why weren't the War Birds firing more often even though the White Stars were making close passes on them?
The whitestars have stealth technology, the warbirds couldn't hope to get a good lock.😀
It's time vs reward. There's hardly no reward for YT vids, so I don't put the time in for every detail. These are actually just test renders, as I alluded to in the description, that no one ever reads 🙄

@@phankoi7814 Only when it's on. Some ofthe tech on the B5 ships is a million years older then the Romulans. I know it is hard to accept but if shields were worth the effort B5 ships would have them.

You're wrong being older doesn't mean stronger. The Black Star was destroyed by 2 megaton nuke.

I have to ask why the Warbirds weren't firing more.
i thought that Whitestar doing that long flypast ought to be shooting more often - and the Romulans shooting more and breaking formation, a moving target is more difficult than a sitting target
Test renders, wasn't doing a battle. Inspiration was from a Picard season 3 scene , thought I could do that ! Set it up apart from wep effects, so I answered yes to my own question and moved on :)
As big as the D'deridex is (even larger than a Federation Galaxy-class) they don't have much for maneuverability & are a BIG target.
I thought the Romulans had shields?

Truly, you are one of the most gifted animators that I have ever seen. I honestly don't know if I've ever seen anyone that matches your talent. I know that I've never seen anyone that exceeds it.
I knew when I saw the title it was going to be a mismatch 🤣🤣🤣. Love those ships!!!
While the animation is done very well, and I give you high praise for that, there are a couple of things that stood out to me. One, that looks like half the entire Romulan fleet converging on a single location, which is way too many Warbirds. Second, one regret the people behind the Star Trek franchise is that they were never able to depict a Romulan Warbird to scale. It's actually double the size of a Galaxy Class Starship. I'm not sure off the top of my head, the size of a Whitstar in comparison, but it's something you really should double check.
Windows on Warbirds are well out of scale to its presumed size of about a kilometre...Whitestars are a lot smaller and that ship comes with its own set of issues like the BoP. I've spoken with one of the B5 modellers and we concur the WS is about 300m. Anyone has issues with that, fuck 'em. I do my homework. The CGI artist I refered to helped build the station for Star Trek: Beyond in case you are interested.

Warlords would use phasers and never miss. Also, they are more maneuverable than what was shown
Disruptors, not phasers. And they should have been firing and maneuvering a lot more.
As for the "never miss" part ... LOL ... that's a dump truck load of steaming horse shit, especially against ships that can outaccelerate and outmaneuver the Defiant.
I guess the starbase doesnt feel like defending itself today .... or the weapon system doent get installed until Tuesday .

Starbase had what looked to be some pretty strong shields..made me wonder if it was a Thirdspace Alien base but then the White Stars would not be trying to defend one of those
No need, startrek universe weapons are so weak that shields can block them...lol.
How about a Borg cube vs some B5 ships? Whichever you think would make for the best fight.

I loved that Shadow pun. Although Star Trek was my first love, Whitestars would likely devastate those Romulsns.

Yep, and in the final scene for DS 9 they just stopped using shields....because it's a lot of work on deadlines. These skits were just tests ;)
