i use a piece of old leather too work wax into the string , it works brill

I've never tried that, but i`ll give it a go, nice soft piece or firm?

@@markhuckercelticcrossbows7887 just soft leather off a old chair put the wax on and slide up and down , it works the wax well in too the string , always used it. no need too put wax on string just straight on too the leather

You said wd-40 is not recommended, but any thoughts on wd-40 "dry lube with ptfe" ?

hiya, cheers dude, yea wd40 is a penertrating oil as well, fir getting inbetween layers like rust, seals n stuff, was designed for the seals and outer skin on nasa rockets originally, so on those things short term, single use (rockets were disposed after use) wd40 is great, but on plastics long term, it breaks down the structure. check out 3d modelling and mosr web sites will say not to use it. with dry lube though, its not a penertrating oil, its just a ptfe coating, same as a frying pan.
if you Google it, WD-40 does a stand alone PTFE lube, nothing to do with original wd40

I preordered mine 5 months ago and still waiting supposed to be here early June, got it from steambow think their based in Germany £165 for the upper and 40 something for the magazines

naah its just me, i was a susspension designer for ford, in the swansea powertrain plant, before they closed it, then went to the engine plant in bridgend, one thing i learned as a designer, if its a contact surface, you lubricate it, needless to say, my metro gti, NEVER needs welding on mot etc, as its dripping with oil :) lol
