Our amazing library is where my son and I find books for electronics and engineering that he had no access to at school. Library always has all the resources he needs for his passion. So excited to unschool this year! Our library has wonderful maker space as well with sewing machines, 3D printers, electronics workbench and more!

Libraries are seriously so underrated. My county library system does actually have a tool lending library where you can get everything from auto repair tools to baking supplies. No instruments, unfortunately, but some other cool things include laptop loans, free tickets to some really great local museums, and a free parks pass to get entry into any state park.

My library is building a maker space lab and a community commercial kitchen space! I’m super excited!

What people dont realize is that unschooling doesn't have a "limit" or a curriculum cap where you stop learning before the next key stage. This means that a kid who shows interest in a topic can learn WAAY more than kids many many years their age.
