Yes you can, two days before should not be bad. I don't advise keeping it to long because it might get to hard. If you make it homemade then it should be fine because I find homemade ones are a bit softer. If you use store bought to dip it, might be to hard. They are actually Candy Melts. Although they have the look and consistency of chocolate, candy melts aren't chocolate. Their main ingredients are sugar and vegetable oil, and they usually don't contain cocoa butter. But you can use real chocolate, I would recommend to make sure they are chocolates meant for melting down. -Amiee
If it's a cake I wouldn't prep it for more than a few days because they tend to get dry. The frosting should be only done that day or it gets hard. For rice krispies you can do a week or more just keep it refrigerated. The chocolate molds or anything like that would last at least two weeks or more. Again keep refrigerated. As long as the chocolate you buy was fresh. Sometimes the melts might have been in the store for a while. The fresher the better. But most things can be done in advance. How many candy melts bags did u use?
Hi Hannah, I used about 3 bags I didn't finish the whole bag of white. 1 big bag of white 1 hot pink bag and 1 lighter pink bag. -Amiee :)
