Salvador de Bahia, Brazil 🇧🇷

Amanda and I quit our jobs in June and set off to travel the world. After an incredible week in Rio de Janeiro, we spent a few days in Salvador, and we absolutely loved it. It was definitely more laid back than Rio, and we loved the local feel of a lot of the places there, not to mention the incredible food and nonstop music.
Here's some information about the places in the video:
1. We stayed in the Barra neighborhood. Our room was near Farol de Santo Antônio (Santo Antônio Lighthouse) with easy access to two beaches: Porto da Barra Beach and Farol da Barra Beach. The neighborhood is convenient for getting to the beach of course, but also the sunset by the lighthouse is amazing.
2. Red Burger N Barra - the burger place we went to in Barra. We thought the burgers were some of the best we've had and the DJ was amazing (Instagram: dj_amar_mansoor)
3. Poró Restaurant and Bar - where we ate in Pelourinho, amazing amazing! Some modern twists on local dishes and beautiful restaurant
4. Acarajé da Dinha - for the acaraje we had. It's located in Rio Vermelho neighborhood
