Great tips Kay! I’m 45 and gave up on lipstick long ago. I usually just use a lipgloss with a little pink in it. But I consider using lipsticks again…😊

First, I want you to know how much I love watching your videos.
    Questions:
Does the oil you use at night soak in quickly or does it stay oily or get on your pillow?
Do you let the lip plumper dry before using lipstick? I use lip stain and if something is oily at all, it doesn’t work.
Thank you for sharing your advice and sweet disposition!

Some great tips here, Kay, thank you. Many of our features can fade over time, so taking the time to better define our lips, brows and lashes can make a huge difference. Have you looked into "permanent" makeup?

I have tried so many lipsticks over the years - and not one of them stays on my lips for long. Some of the most expensive are the most drying on me, and some dry me out so badly that my lips peel. One that I always like, and is very moisturizing (although has to be re-applied often) is the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth color stick in Plum Perfect (has to be my 16th or 17th one!), and Chanel Coco Rouge, although not every color that I've tried has had the same amount of moisture. Legende is a pretty bright pink, and Mademoiselle is a lovely pinkish nude.

I have to agree I love City Beauty lip plumper and I also use it at night instead of the oil. I did not care for the oil it was too greasy for me. Although the lip plumper took away all chapped lips all winter long when I would wake up in the morning my lips were so soft. The Beyond mascara is the best I have ever used it makes my lashes so very long. Also the crepe erase is another great product. Thank you so much for these videos and how you use them.😊

Hi Kaye. I think lip colors for a youthful glow will be dependant on the woman's skin color. Otherwise, very nice, informative video. Thank you for the City Lips review/promotion. I have been wanting to try this, and now that you are recommending it, I will!

Agree on choosing a lip color depending on skin color - personally I cannot wear pinks , so a peach /peachy nude is my go-to . Also , for a natural lip , I've been told by makeup pros to go a shade lighter or darker than the lip or gum ( !! ) color . For an everyday easy swipe of lip color , Burts Bees has great tinted lip balms & the color lasts longer than most balms . Keeping it simple - one or two natural colors & a lip balm !

Lip oil - I never heard before. I bought both products: Clarins, yellow (honey) - means only the colour; does not taste like honey. I love it. Very good, more care. I use it at night. Estee Lauder - perfect to, but it is more voluminizer. I use it as a day product. I am very, very happy about this recommendations.

Try getting a lipstick the color of your tongue. I heard this once and it really does help get a good shade. Your hair looks so great. I bought one of those wand curlers for my hair after watching another one of your videos and it is a game changer for my curly/can-be-messy hair. I’ve never been one to “do” my hair so it had a learning curve, but it is so helpful.

I usually don’t wear makeup. But when I did I never wore lipstick. It came off about a minute after a put it on. But with these tips I might start wearing makeup and lipstick again. My mom always wore red lipstick. And she would wear it to breakfast and then after she ate breakfast, she would pull out the lipstick and put it back on. I’m not sure if she ever wore any other makeup. She shad watery eyes. And I have inherited those from her. I however, do not wear red lipstick. Her skin and hair were a little darker than mine. I remember seeing her senior picture. And she was wearing red lipstick. So that must have been her signature color. I think I would do better with the pink color you shared with us.

Hi Kay, I would like to know how many glasses of water you have a day as well as how many caffeinated beverages. Maybe that seems like a strange question but I think that affects the skin and lip hydration. I have had dry lips for years and years even though I put a lip balm or gloss on as well as sleep with one. I'm just doing my own layman's research.

I think collagen really has helped my nails. And my biggest tip is to ALWAYS wear rubber gloves when doing the dishes. That has made the biggest difference for me. I used to do my own nails and I used OPI Infinite Shine polish and definitely liked it. rstyle.me/+czdAMHMnK77_wM_L1WjaPg and this rstyle.me/+Yl9PB7BNFHjlG8U-BRFwmg But now I get my nails done every two and a half weeks (I stretch my manicures out as long as possible! 😉) because I need them done for photos and videos and it just got to be hard to keep them up myself.
