I agree with all of this, and this is a very valid hangar for late-game. Keep in mind that this is the worst-case scenario, assuming you get *no* premium weapons or implants to use. The only thing I want to point out is that Asami (or any other Legendary Pilot added to the shop) is better to use instead of an Epic. Even non-specialized, Legendary pilots do better than Epic.
Fair point on asami. Tbh when I started working on this video asami wasn’t available. That’s how long this one took me overtime inbetween other things this summer lol.

You're missing out on 8% damage if you use an unspecialized legendary pilot over epic but there's definitely a case to make for the extra health and extra implant slot

Soooo glad you did the video. I am 100% free to play and have been saving for a Surge but was having second thoughts as it’s such a huge investment. Having watched the great video, Surge will fill a gap in my hanger!
He does take a while to save for, but with his changes he totally worth it imo. In the meantime, you can use zephyr who is far cheaper and only credits. Hes still worthy of end game as well so no harm in investing. And like I said in the video, if you get lucky and get zephyr legendary ability range boost, he's much better in real 5v5 combat and can stay in the hangar over surge for most.
@@scape211 thanks Scape211! I did get lucky and got the legendary zephyrs range free. Zephyr with that mod is one of my strongest mechs. Funny thing is I still haven’t managed to get a single mortar radius mod lol so my mortar 12 are pretty bad.
@@garryt6356 oh nice on the zephyr one! that's one I still don't have but am jealous of those who do. It can literally dominate smaller tdm maps and all 2v2 maps. 45m is huge for those cases. Most players don't prepare for a 45m freeze too so it catches many off guard and has that going for it over surge too. In your case, you are probably fine sticking with zephyr for a bit and only getting surge if you need the speed. Hes expensive for sure.
@@scape211 to be honest I want the surge to help me combat mortar users. Without a radius mod, my mortars aren’t very effective. Plus I think the speed will help against the EM weapons. @@garryt6356 yup - surge can be nice for dealing with backline guys since it has some stealth. Such a great mech now! As for EM rifles, they have targeting assist and I have been dusted mid-dash in a killshot so it wont always save you. But speed definitely helps for a lot of aspects besides that so its very useful.
I agree with all builds but the Guardian. Like you had mentioned the Guardian has the health to survive counter Mortar fire, but the damage could be avoided entirely by using a Panther, Killshot or Stalker instead. I know Stalker isn't available for F2P players but hopefully by the time most of us reach end game like myself, Stalker will be available. Paired with it's speed like a Panther and health like a Brickhouse and a damage boosting self healing ability it will be the perfect mech for Mortar use.
I understand and agree Stalker would be better. I actually use him with mortars quite a bit. I also said that killshot is another option for mortars when I was talking about killshot so I agree with you there too. I mainly talk about guardian here in the hopes that you can use your upgraded guardian later when you get other 16 energy weapons. I hope that as you grow other 16 energy weapons will be available to because they should be.
Discs on Panther. Carbs on Ares. Mortars on Killshot. Rails on Guardian. Just a slight variation of what you’ve got, is basically the previous meta. That is: before Graviton, Orion, and Em Rifle. So that’s still nothing to sneeze at.
11:43 I'm constantly being paired against 6k sp guys in my tourny matches while my max sp goes to 3.4k right now. I was holding my ground with my arc/stalker, rm/panther and dl/guardian but now after this update whole aiming system is messed up and my two main setups Arcs and RMs feels useless cause of stupid aim which just hard lock on the farthest possible target instead of the one which is right in front of me. First i thought it's only me, then i saw many others complaining about it too on discord and fb page. No words from devs yet.
You can change your aim to.. vertical I believe and it won’t lock on as much. Better with discs as well cause you actually can aim them, much easier to kill
I think that covering particular hangars is better than mech specific loadouts especially with all the pilot stuff and all, this reduces a lot of hassle. The dual railgun panther and dual disc launcher ares is the most common end game f2p loadouts that I have seen in so many in hangars even the implants are right for those two. Generally I see more players use dual rm on ks once they get it to 24 energy and more than the dual carbine 12 major setup nowadays I see dual mr12 nova setup with epic dmg and reload implants and ks dash distance. the carbine 12 setup isn't much preferred by many becoz it isn't really good for 1v1 against someone but still I do see it in some hangars. I think people started investing in surge only recently but something pretty equal to that is zephyr. Many f2p use zephyr dual arc 10 and glock setup if they don't have surge. the guardian rm build is actually used by many f2p in tdm. mostly becoz guardian is the last mech to max for many and it has high hp so it makes it good for surviving throughout a match as well. before a few months people used to use guardian for stasis beams but that wasn't so effective so it is changed now. if stalker was there in the progress path it would be good to use rms on.
Totally agree. Ks carb12 is the weakest setup here but given how common the other builds are, it made the most sense for it based on the limitations. I agree that for most, RM12s or mr12 are better once you have a couple other items in your hangar.
not really sure about this but disc launcher is very important weapon especially if you are in mid cause speaking from experience I died a lot cause the disc launcher is to powerfull back in those days and after I get myself a disc launcher the course of the my battle started to change rapidly. Now I win alot more than before.
Totally agree. That’s why I think it’s important to think smart about it’s use and why I don’t run it on killshot as most tend to use him aggressively (which he’s kinda designed for)

yea I;'ve had a few people ask for that. What would you consider mid-game though? Like 2-3k ish SP? Still not sure where that fall tbh. Mid-game has changed as the power scale has shifted.
For the time when this vid was published. Solid. However I’d switch weapons on guardian and panther. Reason? Guardian is meant to be close up since his ability. And railguns are that. Panther is great for practically any weapon. But stasis beam 16 is decent and good too.
Killshot is a common choice. I mainly have the carbines in here due to the progress path limitations. But missile racks can easily replace it. Missile racks can also go good on max zephyr or surge. Plenty of great options for missile rack 12. Just depends on what works best for you and your hangar.
I'm not sure how to answer that lol. Do you mean in terms of subscribers vs others that are bigger? They put out content more frequently than I do and fill other niches that maybe get them more views? I dunno man.

Yeah,mine was panther with LA 10+12 and maverick(lucky from event),Ares with DLs8 and Rosa,killshot with JR 8 and rare pilot of guide,paragon with RM 12s and spark(it's maxed out btw),and Zephyr with AT6+10 and G-lock
I agree generally (though not sure about carbines on KS) but I just have missile racks on KS, Surge and Panther, Railgun on Brickhouse and Arc torrent on Ares. Prolly I will switch the weps around when I reach end game - I’m at 5k now. Racks are fun and I don’t use guided or non aimed weapons like discs or mortars I think they are lame AF

Jav 8s are not f2p as they can only be bought from the shop with real money nowadays… They could have considered f2p only during their first released as the devs gave out so many event tokens though a derby event that you were 100% guarantee to get it…
I can see Ares with arc10 being decent and I mentioned that as a possible alternate during his section. mr8s are a bit too weak for most at end game as their caliber is too low. Same kinda issue for jav8s and even more so as you heavily heavily rely on double damage and its only 30% chance max. These are great weapons, but not realistic for end game for most in real competitive play. They can work for support or group killing, but generally limited to certain conditions.
Yea I think it could be. I have not tested it, but on paper the overall damage is similar, but the burst dps and lesser exposure time of the shotgun appears better. And since killshot will likely be dashing into enemies it makes sense for finishing them off. You do lose long range flexibility that carbs can bring so you will have to adjust your playstyle and likely specialize what targets you focus on. The main reason I didnt add shotgun8s in was because its not technically a f2p weapon since you cant attain it apart from special events or spending. But its one of (of not the) best 8 energy weapon.

My f2p hanger would have been : Jugg arc 10, ares arc 12, killshot mortars, panther disc 12 and guardian LA 10 But because i got some goodies my hanger is gonna be: tengu shotgun 8, stalker arc 12, ares arc 10 or disc 12, panther disc 16 and guardian disc12 or killshot mortars
Nice upgrades! I would do the DL12 on areas since you already have a close-range arc mech and killshot with mortars. Its a better loadout than the guardian with mortars. I only use that here based on the limitations of f2p. You could also put the RM12s on stalker and put arcs on ks if you need more speed for early game or getting behind enemies. Great stuff to work with though.
I think both are quite viable and I plan on using both once I get the 16. If you can only choose one, it depends on the hangar. If you have stalker or orion to use with the 12s, it can be equally viable as a 16 loadout in a lot of cases.
Very helpful, Sir. How about Stalker with DL12 +Rosa, Killshot with MR12+ Nova and Guardian with Carbine 12 + Major, I want my Guardian for brawling tanks and other attackers. Is it good?? RM Guardian seems too camper to me, I don't like sitting in back and pressing buttons
Yea thats great too. I couldnt use Stalker or mr12s for this video based on the limitations, but both are better than what I had here. Personally I would use other stuff on Guardian unless you don't have other options. Tbh, the carb12s are the weakest weapon for end game in the current meta. They arent terrible, but they arent particularly good either.
tourney is really the best way. you can get about 400 to 500 casually each week, but tdm helps you get a lot more each week. You can also get extra in certain events, the progress path, and achievements. But its not a ton and not that reliable. tdm is the best to grind for.
Danggg, I just got blueprints, but honestly, that's fine, I got grav 16 last time! But I never get the top weapon/pilot... It's almost hilarious at this point how unlucky I am... *Life of a f2p player*
Am a 100% f2p and still managed to get arc 12 through crate rush. I always make sure to have 6k acoins i won't touch to be ready for disc 12 or stalker acoin crate rush. Not going to invest on carbines and not going to upgrade guardian. Surge shadow stalker panther arres and killshot are the mech on which i will work and as weapon mortar arc 10s and 12 shootguns disc 12 and 16 that's all i need. I think in one year from now i'll have them all
I guess I am in mid game now my hanger is and stays around 2900, I am disappointed I did not see the cheetah make the cut. I am a huge ambush player, he is my top killer at the moment, I think I do well when teamed up with 4k hangers I can make the top 3. Tell me there is hope for cheetah I don't want to spend the a coins on 6 stars if I don't have to.
If you are good with cheetah, you can keep using him. However, I have to be honest in saying I haven't seen one beyond like the 3kish range in hangars. Hes fun and capable, but limited based on his energy set and ability. I think he relies too much on ideal situations to work strongly in his favor while other mechs can find more generaliZed areas to stay effective everywhere. I would love to see someone who is end game rocking a strong cheetah though!
Yeah, agreeable I really want cheetah to be part of my hanger but killshot is my faster mech in my hanger and originally I wanted him to be my cpc getter but I've been using him more often cuz I want every mech in my hanger to get MVP in any way
Not really. They haven’t added much to the progress path since pilots as they have stopped adding stuff to it. Last item they added was the disc launcher 12 which is on this list for sure.
hard to say. We dont know how it will be introduced for f2p. If its an event crate rush, you will want at least 4k acoins, but probably more based on how they gave us asami (legendary pilot). That event cost more given her status. If it was in the progress path, it would probably between 7-9k acoins and then would need further upgrading for the dual copy. So I would think 9k acoins is fairly safe to bank on whether an event or a straight acoin buy if they add it to like inventory or something someday.
True but it’s not always easy to. Since MA never posts when they will do events, if you aren’t prepared for an event crate rush that’s acoin based, you could entirely miss a certain weapon or mech. This video is more of a worst case situation. I would assume many have at least a couple items they can swap in over these items but it will vary for each hangar.
@@scape211 It's true, I can't get all of them, like in the Tengu crate rush I'm stuck in 9 spins, and maybe I'll get Aegis if I don't Upgrade Guardian rank on the previous day, Like you said they didn't tell us anything about the next crate rush :( But I don't think it's a problem because, I can get some of them like Stalker, MR 12, Shotgun 8, LA 12, AT 12, And I was lucky to get EM 16 in the first spin..
Paragon has some fringe uses. Hes great for early game, but once you get stuff like panther, killshot, guardian, and ares he will be shelved. He does have some benefits very late game, but not something people typically run. Usually not worth investing heavily into.

@@RyuHanawa hiya! Mid-range is kinda tricky as not a ton to weapons do mid range really well when it comes to meta. Your javs are good for now, but pulse cannons and stasis 8 don’t really kill stuff fast enough for their exposure time imo. I would try to work with longarm 8s and missile rack 8s if you can get those. Longarms are more ideal long range, but put out good damage and still do gold around 75 meters. Missile racks are usually designed to be close but can work in the 50 to 75 meter range and will cut down on your exposure time. Ares with the dual RPGs is decent for now too. You will likely want to save up for the disc launcher 8s. Those are very meta, don’t require too much exposure (due to their splash damage) and function for the mid-range. They might not be open on the progress path for you yet but are worth saving for if you can. Hope that helps!

yea those are solid weapon loadouts for sure. I did mention the RM12s for ks and arcs for Ares so even in this context that's very good. But the other stuff you got is even better and more meta so yea - solid stuff bro.
Yea that’s not bad either. Just harder for me to justify for later use versus guardian if you plan to max them for either swapping railguns or future 16 energy weapons you could get. I know some who run railguns on him though so it’s possible.
Depends what you want on a loadout for him. I did mention him for rocket mortars but I overall think he struggles for quite a few is real competitive play. Just too slow and not enough hp to compensate. I think he deserves more hp

Fair point, but remember Mr12s aren’t in the progress path. Maybe carb12 on zephyr instead? I completely agree that carbs aren’t worth their cost. But it’s really the best option from the progress path if someone doesn’t spend or have other options yet.

Well my friend got aegis and stalker from a crate rush on his FIRST TRY. I spent 3000 a coins to get tengu on my last try. And of course in T3, the game I can't play, (the updates are to big) i got both diggy and judex early on. So much for luck lol
I think Panther is better with Mortars. With better speed and statis barrier to slow down enemies who want to flank then keep the distance and finish with mortars. Guardian seems to me useless with mortars, slow can do nothing expect making the enemies reload if they flank.
I do agree that panther can be better in this case, but I don’t like using panther for mortars only. His ability is too good to just put mortars on him and have him sit in the back for me personally. But hey if that works for you absolutely do it.
@@scape211 yes that's I also agree. Panther is so damn versatile like he can be good with each and every weapon in any maps. I'm using mortars with him for an optional build. In some tourney maps :-) you know fire for fire. Otherwise, Discs and Longarms is my build
I would personally have orion instead of surge just as a flex, I somehow managed to win it in research pay-off event. I wasn't even trying it but i somehow got third. I am F2P player which makes things even better.
Grats to you! I would definitely put Orion in, but personally would still keep in surge if you have it. Both are worth being in any hangar imo. I couldn't use Orion for this list since he isn't f2p unless you got lucky (like you did). Enjoy! :)
thanks for the comment. I enjoy doing these videos, but they are tough to do. They take a lot of time, have limited use (since they keep introducing new stuff so frequently now), and I don't spend so I don't have everything in game.
After you buy the first railgun in the progress path or through some other purchase, you have to rank up that one to 6 stars. At 6 stars, it gives you a second copy. This is how all 10 energy or higher weapons work.
How to beat Mech Arena? Steps: 1) Get Stalker and upgrade to max. 2) Get RM 12 and get second copy. 3) Dual wield RMs on Stalker. (get Fei for extra kick) Congratulations! You are now able to beat the game with your eyes closed.
Unfortunately I don't use mortars 😬😬 So I put stasis beam16/ Thermal lance 4 on my guardian 😓 See the problem is first f2p players they are very late in-game, there are limited by event crate rushes and play-offs and their hangers increase slower than you would expect I love to grind In mech arena but p2have players and rocket mortarers get in my way

@@_DAKAR_ depends on what build you are doing. Generally speaking ares is gonna do well with sustain fire weapons like carb12s or dl12 since he’s tanky. Orion will do better with burst like mr12s or LA12s given his ability and slightly squisher body
I would use juggernaut with rocket mortars than guardian because juggernaut sheild can be handy from rocket mortar attacks . I think guardian is good with carbine 12 and can use its system crash. I use killshot with arc torrents until i get surge
True but can only really fill that roll well imo. Killshot is far more versatile to me and people will use it in a ton of different ways. It’s also why you see a lot more killshot mortars builds late game than you do paragon. Maxing out a killshot makes far more sense for most.

Generally I see more players use dual rm on ks once they get it to 24 energy and more than the dual carbine 12 major setup nowadays I see dual mr12 nova setup with epic dmg and reload implants and ks dash distance. the carbine 12 setup isn't much preferred by many becoz it isn't really good for 1v1 against someone but still I do see it in some hangars. I think people started investing in surge only recently but something pretty equal to that is zephyr. Many f2p use zephyr dual arc 10 and glock setup if they don't have surge. the guardian rm build is actually used by many f2p in tdm. mostly becoz guardian is the last mech to max for many and it has high hp so it makes it good for surviving throughout a match as well. before a few months people used to use guardian for stasis beams but that wasn't so effective so it is changed now. if stalker was there in the progress path it would be good to use rms on.
Totally agree. Ks carb12 is the weakest setup here but given how common the other builds are, it made the most sense for it based on the limitations. I agree that for most, RM12s or mr12 are better once you have a couple other items in your hangar.
not really sure about this but disc launcher is very important weapon especially if you are in mid cause speaking from experience I died a lot cause the disc launcher is to powerfull back in those days and after I get myself a disc launcher the course of the my battle started to change rapidly. Now I win alot more than before.
Totally agree. That’s why I think it’s important to think smart about it’s use and why I don’t run it on killshot as most tend to use him aggressively (which he’s kinda designed for)

For the time when this vid was published. Solid. However I’d switch weapons on guardian and panther. Reason? Guardian is meant to be close up since his ability. And railguns are that. Panther is great for practically any weapon. But stasis beam 16 is decent and good too.

Killshot is a common choice. I mainly have the carbines in here due to the progress path limitations. But missile racks can easily replace it. Missile racks can also go good on max zephyr or surge. Plenty of great options for missile rack 12. Just depends on what works best for you and your hangar.

Yeah,mine was panther with LA 10+12 and maverick(lucky from event),Ares with DLs8 and Rosa,killshot with JR 8 and rare pilot of guide,paragon with RM 12s and spark(it's maxed out btw),and Zephyr with AT6+10 and G-lock

I agree generally (though not sure about carbines on KS) but I just have missile racks on KS, Surge and Panther, Railgun on Brickhouse and Arc torrent on Ares. Prolly I will switch the weps around when I reach end game - I’m at 5k now. Racks are fun and I don’t use guided or non aimed weapons like discs or mortars I think they are lame AF

Jav 8s are not f2p as they can only be bought from the shop with real money nowadays… They could have considered f2p only during their first released as the devs gave out so many event tokens though a derby event that you were 100% guarantee to get it…
I can see Ares with arc10 being decent and I mentioned that as a possible alternate during his section. mr8s are a bit too weak for most at end game as their caliber is too low. Same kinda issue for jav8s and even more so as you heavily heavily rely on double damage and its only 30% chance max. These are great weapons, but not realistic for end game for most in real competitive play. They can work for support or group killing, but generally limited to certain conditions.

Yea I think it could be. I have not tested it, but on paper the overall damage is similar, but the burst dps and lesser exposure time of the shotgun appears better. And since killshot will likely be dashing into enemies it makes sense for finishing them off. You do lose long range flexibility that carbs can bring so you will have to adjust your playstyle and likely specialize what targets you focus on.
The main reason I didnt add shotgun8s in was because its not technically a f2p weapon since you cant attain it apart from special events or spending. But its one of (of not the) best 8 energy weapon.
It's lucky to see the legendary implant for range of arc torrent on the shop, but more lucky to get it of a basic implant chest as I did

My f2p hanger would have been :
Jugg arc 10, ares arc 12, killshot mortars, panther disc 12 and guardian LA 10
But because i got some goodies my hanger is gonna be: tengu shotgun 8, stalker arc 12, ares arc 10 or disc 12, panther disc 16 and guardian disc12 or killshot mortars
Nice upgrades! I would do the DL12 on areas since you already have a close-range arc mech and killshot with mortars. Its a better loadout than the guardian with mortars. I only use that here based on the limitations of f2p. You could also put the RM12s on stalker and put arcs on ks if you need more speed for early game or getting behind enemies. Great stuff to work with though.

Put DL12 on Brickhouse or Stalker and boom you got DL16, 🤣🤣. DL16 has higher damage but slower projectiles than 12
I think both are quite viable and I plan on using both once I get the 16. If you can only choose one, it depends on the hangar. If you have stalker or orion to use with the 12s, it can be equally viable as a 16 loadout in a lot of cases.

Yea thats great too. I couldnt use Stalker or mr12s for this video based on the limitations, but both are better than what I had here. Personally I would use other stuff on Guardian unless you don't have other options. Tbh, the carb12s are the weakest weapon for end game in the current meta. They arent terrible, but they arent particularly good either.
Scape do you have any tips on grinding for the rallgun besides torny?
tourney is really the best way. you can get about 400 to 500 casually each week, but tdm helps you get a lot more each week. You can also get extra in certain events, the progress path, and achievements. But its not a ton and not that reliable. tdm is the best to grind for.

Am a 100% f2p and still managed to get arc 12 through crate rush. I always make sure to have 6k acoins i won't touch to be ready for disc 12 or stalker acoin crate rush. Not going to invest on carbines and not going to upgrade guardian. Surge shadow stalker panther arres and killshot are the mech on which i will work and as weapon mortar arc 10s and 12 shootguns disc 12 and 16 that's all i need. I think in one year from now i'll have them all

I guess I am in mid game now my hanger is and stays around 2900, I am disappointed I did not see the cheetah make the cut. I am a huge ambush player, he is my top killer at the moment, I think I do well when teamed up with 4k hangers I can make the top 3. Tell me there is hope for cheetah I don't want to spend the a coins on 6 stars if I don't have to.
If you are good with cheetah, you can keep using him. However, I have to be honest in saying I haven't seen one beyond like the 3kish range in hangars. Hes fun and capable, but limited based on his energy set and ability. I think he relies too much on ideal situations to work strongly in his favor while other mechs can find more generaliZed areas to stay effective everywhere. I would love to see someone who is end game rocking a strong cheetah though!
Same as lancer / shadow, very fun but need to be maxed (jav8 for example) and in the long run its not gona be your main choice

absolutely. probably the best 8 energy weapon set for end game. Many use them on tengu if you have him, but if not shadow is also a solid option.

Not really. They haven’t added much to the progress path since pilots as they have stopped adding stuff to it. Last item they added was the disc launcher 12 which is on this list for sure.

hard to say. We dont know how it will be introduced for f2p. If its an event crate rush, you will want at least 4k acoins, but probably more based on how they gave us asami (legendary pilot). That event cost more given her status. If it was in the progress path, it would probably between 7-9k acoins and then would need further upgrading for the dual copy. So I would think 9k acoins is fairly safe to bank on whether an event or a straight acoin buy if they add it to like inventory or something someday.

Even if you're f2p but you've been playing since 2021 you can get a lot of weapons and mechs that aren't available in inventory...
True but it’s not always easy to. Since MA never posts when they will do events, if you aren’t prepared for an event crate rush that’s acoin based, you could entirely miss a certain weapon or mech. This video is more of a worst case situation. I would assume many have at least a couple items they can swap in over these items but it will vary for each hangar.

Paragon has some fringe uses. Hes great for early game, but once you get stuff like panther, killshot, guardian, and ares he will be shelved. He does have some benefits very late game, but not something people typically run. Usually not worth investing heavily into.

I'm a F2P and I dunno what my next move. I have saved 1K A-Coins and 100K+ credits. I'm a mid range type of player, my favorite weapons are the Stasis Beam, Pulse Canon and RPG

@@RyuHanawa hiya! Mid-range is kinda tricky as not a ton to weapons do mid range really well when it comes to meta. Your javs are good for now, but pulse cannons and stasis 8 don’t really kill stuff fast enough for their exposure time imo. I would try to work with longarm 8s and missile rack 8s if you can get those. Longarms are more ideal long range, but put out good damage and still do gold around 75 meters. Missile racks are usually designed to be close but can work in the 50 to 75 meter range and will cut down on your exposure time. Ares with the dual RPGs is decent for now too. You will likely want to save up for the disc launcher 8s. Those are very meta, don’t require too much exposure (due to their splash damage) and function for the mid-range. They might not be open on the progress path for you yet but are worth saving for if you can. Hope that helps!

Yea that’s not bad either. Just harder for me to justify for later use versus guardian if you plan to max them for either swapping railguns or future 16 energy weapons you could get. I know some who run railguns on him though so it’s possible.

Depends what you want on a loadout for him. I did mention him for rocket mortars but I overall think he struggles for quite a few is real competitive play. Just too slow and not enough hp to compensate. I think he deserves more hp
My setup :-
1. Kill shot - dual arc 10, glock, epic dmg, mag, ability dmg implants
2. Panther - railgun + la12, maverick epic la dmg, relod, epic rg dmg implant
3. Surge - mr12 + mr8, samsom, epic reload, dmg implant
4. Guardian ( replaced by Orion after available) dual rm12, fei, epic radius, dmg, epic ability cooldown or dual dl12 according to map
5. Brickhouse (replaced by stalker after available) railgun + tl2 torchligh or myna arc 12 according to map
makes a lot of sense there. I definitely see Stalker and Orion as super meta so great choices to swap in

Fair point, but remember Mr12s aren’t in the progress path. Maybe carb12 on zephyr instead? I completely agree that carbs aren’t worth their cost. But it’s really the best option from the progress path if someone doesn’t spend or have other options yet.
I think the zephr would be better than guardian because you can freeze people who get close to stop them from staying in your blind range for mortars

Well my friend got aegis and stalker from a crate rush on his FIRST TRY.
I spent 3000 a coins to get tengu on my last try.
And of course in T3, the game I can't play, (the updates are to big) i got both diggy and judex early on.
So much for luck lol

I think Panther is better with Mortars. With better speed and statis barrier to slow down enemies who want to flank then keep the distance and finish with mortars. Guardian seems to me useless with mortars, slow can do nothing expect making the enemies reload if they flank.
I do agree that panther can be better in this case, but I don’t like using panther for mortars only. His ability is too good to just put mortars on him and have him sit in the back for me personally. But hey if that works for you absolutely do it.
@@scape211 yes that's I also agree. Panther is so damn versatile like he can be good with each and every weapon in any maps. I'm using mortars with him for an optional build. In some tourney maps :-) you know fire for fire. Otherwise, Discs and Longarms is my build
I would personally have orion instead of surge just as a flex, I somehow managed to win it in research pay-off event. I wasn't even trying it but i somehow got third. I am F2P player which makes things even better.
Grats to you! I would definitely put Orion in, but personally would still keep in surge if you have it. Both are worth being in any hangar imo. I couldn't use Orion for this list since he isn't f2p unless you got lucky (like you did). Enjoy! :)

Bro how to buy 2nd railgun
After you buy the first railgun in the progress path or through some other purchase, you have to rank up that one to 6 stars. At 6 stars, it gives you a second copy. This is how all 10 energy or higher weapons work.

@@_DAKAR_ depends on what build you are doing. Generally speaking ares is gonna do well with sustain fire weapons like carb12s or dl12 since he’s tanky. Orion will do better with burst like mr12s or LA12s given his ability and slightly squisher body
Arc torrents on ares maybe? I know a few people who use that build.
I would use juggernaut with rocket mortars than guardian because juggernaut sheild can be handy from rocket mortar attacks

Paragon is much better choice for mortal. Cheap and effectivity is similar to killshot rm build
True but can only really fill that roll well imo. Killshot is far more versatile to me and people will use it in a ton of different ways. It’s also why you see a lot more killshot mortars builds late game than you do paragon. Maxing out a killshot makes far more sense for most.
