IKEA PLANT HAUL: Buying artificial plants from Ikea, fake plants for the bathroom

- Do you also struggle to keep real plants alive!! GOOD i'm not alone then! today i'm going to IKEA to buy as many fake plants as i can for my bathroom. Come along with me on my journey.
Today i take the arduous journey from my house in London to Ikea, let me just say this is no easy task its a short walk, a bus, a tube and then another bus with a final short walk. NOT OK!
Come along on my journey to make my home decor even more vibrant and fun with this trip to Ikea, this is the first time i will be buying artificial plants i have always been surrounded by real plants but they have consistently died on me. So i have decided to take the plunge and by myself some fake ones.
The greener the better i say and my bathroom certainly needs some artificial plants, it was once filled with beautiful plants it was a bonafide jungle but now its striped back and bare.
I have researched so much into artificial plants and from what i have seen Ikea has the best selection and also the best value for money. Not only that but Ikea is mega fun to walk around in and get lost in all the new home decor. Interior design is something i have always been interested in so now's my chance.
At the beginning of this video i explain my history with plants and how i find taking care of them. Then follow me on a vlog style Ikea trip where i buy multiple artificial plants, home decor, soft furnishings and ceramic pots for the fake plants to go in.
Ikea gave me loads decorating ideas that i implemented when i got back to my home. You can see me organise and set up my artificial plants in my bathroom ready for the big moving in party were having this weekend.

I love it! I just bought a whole bunch of faux plants from IKEA for my new house and can't wait to set them up. I wanted to make sure they last, this time, so I went the faux route, as well. Thanks for sharing!
i just wish i knew how to keep plants alive, but yeah for now the ikea route is the only way i can get green into the house
I gave in this year, after 9 years of trying to grow natural plants in my apt, and ordered some faux plants.

Becareful with overwatering. If you stick your finger about a inch or two in the dirt and it’s moist there’s no need to water. Overwatering causes root rot., mold, and your plant to struggle until it’s dead. Anyway, great video and like the way you decorated!

You could have overwatered them. I highly suggest a water meter so that you know when to water xx

I got some faux plants from ikea. 3 of them,50 dollars each. Two them look so fake after I placed them in my house.
50 dollars each that's so expensive!!! we took our time and chose the ones that looked most real, did you end up keeping them? or getting real plants
