Never having heard of this brand, I decided to order this calendar after watching this video as a Christmas present to myself from my husband 😂😂 I wanted the Space NK one but it is sold out 😔 I have the ASOS one coming as well and am super excited for the arrival of both! Despite what others have said about the contents this year, I am new to Cult Beauty and thought this was still an amazing calendar, plus they had a goody bag worth almost $500AUD for free with purchase!! I'm in Australia and whilst we do have some decent options for calendars here, I have found the British ones to be the best and will definitely be keeping my eye out next year ❤
I get this every year, a lot of hair products this year, but I like that it has more products and not just two really expencive ones and the rest are fillers. Sorry your lid was missing from your AB cream. I would e-mail them about that. Such an expencive product, really should have gotten the lid!!! And...really wish the pillow case was in silk and not polyester. :( The purpose of sleeping on silk kind of disappeares when it's not even silk.
i use the conserving beauty instamelt face masks. there's so much serum that i covers the face, neck, and even the arms/hands, and hair. just leave it in overnight. fabulous!

I went with Space NK too. I got Cult Beauty last year. This year CB has a sleeping eye mask, a mirror and a pillowcase - I'm not interested, I happen to be in need of a new compact mirror but I'd rather products than that rubbish! 😅

Unfortunately the discount code no longer works! So disappointed!! But I mostly like the calendar! I'm not impressed with all the Cult Beauty items, like the compact mirror, or yet another sleep mask. I would have been happy about the pillow case if they had of included one that was actually real Silk! Not this cheap knock off version. Which I get, I totally understand, but I wish these companies would come out with an "international-friendly" version, for those of us who live overseas, but still desperately want to be able to buy these amazing Calendars from home!! Instead, I have to have them sent to a UK-based relatives house and then get them to remove all of those lovely perfumes and any dry shampoo sprays etc, before having to pay ridiculous international shipping fees ($150!) To get the rest of the calendar shipped to me in Australia! The only reason I am willing to even consider paying such high shipping fees for each one, is because of the huge difference between what we pay for these, verses what they are worth!! Whereas, with the likes of Cult Beauty, at least they don't add any prohibited items for international shipping, AND they deliver to Australia for free!! Express shipping as well! That's enough reason in itself to get their calendar, that and the Rich Cream by Augustinus Bader!! I can't believe that people complain about receiving Augustinus Bader products!! I've seen some of your comments on others advent calendar unboxing videos from other social media influences and you are are absolutely right SpaceNK advent Calendar its much better. I actually purchased the SpaceNK and the Lookfantastic advent calendar I was considering getting the Cult beauty calendar within the first few minutes of watching this video and it had the code %15 off and plus a free gift worth £95, so the calendar was gonna cost me £191 instead of £220 and I was about to purchased and I've changed my mind. Then I thought maybe I could try and get it. but the code doesn't work anymore, there is not free gifts nor 15% off and I am definitely not planning on getting the cult calendar.
I had this one last year and it wad absolutely amazing I got a free gift with it aswell which was worth a fortune..3 products are the same as last year and and bit more makeup and considering I don't wear make up I don't no weather it would be a waste...I gave my Charlotte Tilbury pallet away because it was no use to me still an amazing advent calander but I think I'll keep looking this year 👍

I have purchased mine on pre sale whithot thinking too much. It was on a Sunday and I have tried to cancel my order two hours later after I have acttually seen what is inside. Of course they did not allow me, because apparently they have taken the money and the order is in processing (yeah taking money with a credit card takes 2 seconds, so basically is never possible to cancel order). Then two days later they add the Hair GWP automatically to the calender... which a customer like me who buys a LOT from them and got pre access and therefore will not recieve the GWP. This is absurd...and they have told me that I have to wait for it to come to me and then return it (if they do not come up with some reason that I will not be allowed again, which will not surprise me). So they have pissed me off so much, that I will deffinately go through the whole process and return it. Hopefully it will not get lost in mail or something, because it will not surprise me if they wont return my money in that case....BE CAREFULL when purchasing from them.
I love Cult Beauty, but their Customer service team is an absolute joke, in my personal experience. I have had so many issues with them when I have contacted them with an issue. If you have a problem that is a little bit out of the norm, forget it! The Customer service team are not going to have a clue and for some reason, they don't seem to be able to go and ask someone who might know the answer to your question! They are all friendly enough and seem really nice in their messages, but I find their knowledge lacking sometimes. I get that I have some different issues than most of their customers as I live in Australia, but if you don't know the answer to something, go and ask someone who might! And keep asking different people until you get an answer! Also, I received an eyeshadow palette that I had bought, and one of the shades/pans was completely smashed. I chatted with the online live chat, who asked me to send a message with photos, which I did. After she saw my photos, she immediately offered me a full refund or a replacement palette, I wanted a replacement as it was such a beautiful palette and the most beautiful shade was the one that smashed. Plus, it was supposed to be a gift for someone else. She told me that was no problem, it was probably the best interaction I had had with someone from their Customer services! The following day I woke up to see a new email from The Cult Beauty Customer Service team. They wanted to apologise about my broken palette and to tell me that they would be issuing me a 10% refund to make up for it!!!!!!! 10%!!!! When I had been offered a replacement or a FULL refund the day before!!! So, of course I emailed them once more, to ask what had changed as only the previous day they had offered me a 100% refund or a replacement! Why only 10% now?! I got a reply apologising and telling me that they would be issuing me with a full refund!!! I really wanted the palette! But at this point I was over it and didn't want to take the chance that the next CS agent would mess everything up! A full refund was better than possibly receiving another broken palette and having to deal with this again!!

I’m still missing body products. A great moisturiser, body oil, maybe a foot creme? Last years’ was mainly serums and face creams. That’s why I decided to buy the Harrods one this year. Who knows, I might get disappointed…
Doesn’t really matter what’s in each day you can just move them around?? It’s not like they’re sealed, mine came today, that’s what I’m doing plus adding some more bits in and extra on Xmas day as well as wrapping everything that’s in each day so they’re not tempted to open all in one day :)

As is often the case, the discount code doesn't work on the advent calendar. The only one I've found where a discount code worked was look fantastic. I got £10 off that one.
I do think last years was better, but i have ordered this one as i thought the make up products were nice and there is some really good skincare also, i managed to get mine for £186 so definitely good for the money xx

Last year I bought CB calendar with a super cool goody bag, this year I am still thinking if I want it or not, if I like it or not that much. I have the same problem with Look Fantastic calendar, everyone says it's so good and I am not sure if it's good for me, maybe because I have LF box subscription and many products from the boxes repeats in the calendar. I bought Space NK calendar this year and I agree with you, it wins with CB. Btw.I love your unboxing :)

I don't think we needed 33 products in it, to be honest. We could've just done with 24/25 much better ones, and definitely no to the silly mirror, mask and pillow case. Most of us have items like that (or even multiple of them), they're pretty much just clutter. As others have said, I wouldn't buy this even at a 25-30% discount. Maybe they just weren't able to get good brand partnerships this year? Or maybe they're tired of giving people an attractive deal? They should focus on making a good calendar at a lower price point and not overfill it with nonsense or minis and then ask nearly 300 euros for it.
I'm super disappointed with the Cult Beauty calendar this year. It doesn't make sense to include small hair products. Additionally, the sleeping mask and pillowcase are not silk like last year; they're made of satin Polyester, which makes a huge difference. I don't understand why are they including shower gels, candles, and little mirrors in an expensive calendars. Overall, it seems like they added some random items without considering how a person would actually use them. I won't be buying it this year.

Seems odd that someone in the marketing department didn’t determine that putting two of the same type products in consecutive days wasn’t a good idea.

Maybe they just weren't able to get good brand partnerships this year? Or maybe they're tired of giving people an attractive deal? They should focus on making a good calendar at a lower price point and not overfill it with nonsense or minis and then ask nearly 300 euros for it.

I'm super disappointed with the Cult Beauty calendar this year. It doesn't make sense to include small hair products. Additionally, the sleeping mask and pillowcase are not silk like last year; they're made of satin Polyester, which makes a huge difference. I don't understand why are they including shower gels, candles, and little mirrors in an expensive calendars. Overall, it seems like they added some random items without considering how a person would actually use them. I won't be buying it this year.
