And also this video i really enjoyed. I always like to see a creator to do their on spin on the vehicles right away instead of having to wait 2-3 videos down the road. Because it might be a video that we miss so doing it right away is always a plus in my book. So super cool and thank u!
Terrific review of a very nicely modified truck, I especially enjoyed the "knight rider" drive on and off the trailer while in motion.Your discovery of led points on the circuit board I bet will hugely simplify a lot of light projects for many owners too.
Well thank you! Yeah that was fun! I wanted to do more but it was getting late! I was surprised WPL didn't mention that. I mean it was an easy point to add lights. I think they will likely have a kit for it eventually.
@AMPROEngineering know somebody who built an rc of that coach that fit three Tamiya Minis inside it! Vids on his YT channel Rich "hang on lads I've got an idea" Vyse
I can't wait to see what is in store for your B36-3!! I ordered mine as soon as Ed told me about it. I have done a few free mods to mine. Like i curled up the wire from the truck to the trailer to make it look like the lines on a real big rig. I love the fenders that you made for your trailer id love to buy that for mine. I use mine to haul my huina excavator. I do wish it was longer though so that i can carry the excavator and my dump truck at the same time
Interesting review.... nah, good video and informative. When will you have parts to order on the mini factory site? I'm curious about how you got the cab lights working, wired to the headlights? Do you make a light bucket for the cab lights? Looking forward to seeing you widening the trailer to have two vehicles. Keep up the good work and videos!!!
Well thanks! How on earth did I forget to add the link in the description! Added! As for the cab lights, no, i just shoved a 3mm LED in the lens that is already there and then hot glued them. Finally, coated the back side with black liquid electric tape. Super easy! I was surprised actually!
Amazing work as usual, well done! Talking about the model, and not your mods, I'm not a big fan of that trailer. I would much prefer having a B36 with a flat bed, and then have a more traditional trailer to it for a further vehicle...
Yeah, I too am not a fan of that style trailer. I mean I totally get why they did that. The military market is huge but I too would have rather a flat bed. I am sure we will see more from them.
Thank you! I have some micro 1x2mm LED's that I like to put in things. They work great. I found them on eBay. just make sure you get the pre-wired ones.
Thank you! Everything will be on shapeways and MyMiniFactory. Ebay fees and shipping always adds 10-20% more cost so its cheaper to get it right from shapeways or print it yourself.
@@AMPROEngineering cool thanks. I did get a good deal on amazon on my e1 I bought the b36 with trailer from wpl direct. Arrived quickly. For the price it's really nice. I just need to figure out where to get more led lights. Like yours. Thanks for the great videos . 👍👍
Did you see the mention on the page for the driveshafts? I missed it...you know...because I can be bothered reading! I asked customer service and thanks to me, they made the note BOLD and in RED. I still would have missed it.
I didn't see it until you pointed it out. New axle purchased. Quick question, how did you fit the roof and side spot light? Did you splice the headlights or something? I'm nearing the end of my build now and am stuck on the light set up. Did you remove the roof lights and poke the led through? Thanks in advance.@@AMPROEngineering
Is the B14 not an REO? I am bad at military vehicles. I agree, a Stude would be awesome. I think the JJRC q 60 is a Russian version of an early US truck. That one looks amazing. I love mine.
Yes that is indeed the truth. At least this one has a reason, based on how low cost it is. So many others.....like one I am working on now....cost a lot and are utter trash.
What would you charge for to make those wheel covers on the trailer, I have no accto a 3D printer, but would really like to have those on my trailer too.
Something feels very cursed about seeing a Ural-4320 on Split 5 semi truck wheels. I mean it looks great, especially with the brushed silver and the stripe kit. But it's just...so weird.
That's a great question. I would say 1/18 but it is hard to find information on the actual truck for me to calculate it. Fits in well with the 1/16 cars though.
I dont know if you'll see this but I put the 2 speed in my b36-3 now it cuts out when pressing the throttle and the servos go haywire sometimes. If I unplug the steering servo it runs fine. I've even plugged in a different servo and it does the same thing. Any ideas faulty board or something? Thanks for any help you can provide.
What the heck? Is the battery low? I had that happen once when I was on the sand, just before the battery cut out. Can you confirm charge and if not reach out to WPL ASAP!
@@AMPROEngineering I'll check it with a full battery but I'm pretty sure it was good it was just weird cause it def has something to do with the servo being plugged in
So I installed the 2 speed with the 370. I installed a larger motor on the C54 (shown here, its the red one) and that may help with your question. I cant recal what trans this one came with.
Not yet, I was planning on adding those when i did more stuff for the trailer but maybe its not worth waiting. Let me post them now. Ill send a link to you
This is not the V3 board as it does not have sound controls to my knowledge. Thought the D series LED's operate, like I show, they are not physically compatible. There are lots of lights the D series electrical comes with but only the rear 6 you can populate.
Awwww yeah! here we go! Got me a cup of coffee, and a new Episode from AMPRO, this is the life!
Brilliant comment, I completely agree
hahahaaha! Thanks!

Loved the "review"! Stunning build, gotta have those orange roof-lights working on mine to!
Thank you! They were easy to install. I just shoved a 3mm LED in them and used hot glue to hold them in.
I'm thrilled that this channel is still producing.
Well thank you!
A U.S. M25 tank transporter cab would be a big seller for this chassis. 👍🏼👍🏼
That would be cool!
Cool and for a while there thought I was watching "The Italian Job" with Michael Cain! 🤣👌
Hahahah! I was looking for a small car that would work!

great video and great upgrades. I can see a lot of custom builds coming down the pipe.
WPL's in general are great platforms for mods but this one is going to be nuts.
WPL has a bright future if they keep it up.
I remember when all they had was RTRs that barely moved under there own weight
Yeah me too. It is amazing to see how great they have become.

@@AMPROEngineering very cool! I'll be looking out for those. I dont have a 3d printer or know how to use one so i will be looking to buy the parts.
Perfect platform , your vision looks way cooler tho , 😎👍
Well thank you! This is nothing compared to what so many talented people out there will be doing though!
I like how you modified it to what you wanted it to be this exactly what im looking for a modified truck and trailer
Glad to hear it. This is a great truck/trailer combo.
Cast iron 2 piece wheels are a nice touch
I know I think those look awesome so I had to design some.
Great WPL video😁❤
I'm also a Wpl fan. Now I'm waiting to receive the new C74. After receive it I'll do the Unboxing video 👌👍✅️
They are great cars. I have racked so many miles up on mine.... Please do! That one looks amazing!
@@AMPROEngineering no doubt, the jimny looks awesome. Probably more 1 or 2 weeks to receive it😉👌💪
cool new look, RC with great adventure, always good videos bro👍👍😃

I plan on some more mods to this for sure.
Great video. I just bought the b36 and trailer plus a e1 . Where did you get the wheels for the b36 they look really cool.
There is a link in the description to them. These are AMPro products. These are printed on an SLA with ABS-like resin.

do you plan on releasing the fenders for the trailer? I would love to have some on mine!
Yes, as soon as I do some other parts for the trailer! Very soon
@@AMPROEngineering thank you! Printed out truck parts already and they are snazzy
I wish wpl would make a Studebaker/REO/AmGen style deuce and a half, instead of the Russian URAL version

i came across somthing, have you heard of nail polish or top coat type thing for water proofing your boards
Yes, these are good enamel coats though I have not used it as I do not like to get my cars wet.
I have been looking for the files for the wheel covers you put over the trailer wheels?
I will have those up soon with some other parts for the trailer.

So b36-3 board and d12 light kit?
Yes, I have a link in the description.
I bought both the B36 and the B36-3 and I'm' putting in the 2 speed gear boxes, the front axle is backwards on both?????
You need to flip the axle. The gearbox they come with is brand new and has counter rotating driveshafts.
