Blaster Boy is a 2d pixel shooter boss gauntlet where players will play as Blaster Boy or his sister Blaster Girl, and blast their way through a variety of bosses all the way from military generals, to giant sand serpents while completing challenges to unlock new playable characters, more game modes and many other in-game content!
Blaster Boy captures the old school retro and nostalgic feel of 2d shooters in the 1980's-1990's as well as the gameplay mechanics that are simple and easy to learn but hard to master.
Play as Blaster Boy or Blaster Girl (in single player or local co-op) as you move from boss fight to boss fight in adventure mode, unlocking secret playable character boss fights. Players can also try tackling Gauntlet Mode facing bosses back to back retaining your health to get high scores and time records. All while still trying to complete challenges to unlock more game modes and more playable characters!

Hey nice looking game! I really like the revamped character designs and the spider boss looks super fun to play.
I do think the graphics have a somewhat big issue tho. Almost every asset has a different pixel scale so it creates this feeling of disjointedness, like none of the assets were drawn with each other in mind. I know it will probably be very hard and maybe expensive to fix, but it's definitely something that will help your game feel a lot more polished and cohesive.
At 6:23 the background assets have massive pixels, you can easily see the squares at the edge of the moon, but blaster girl's outline is very fine, and then at 6:30 you get the opposite situation with the boss having very easy to count pixels while the background has smaller ones. These are called mixels, mixed pixel sizes, and I do think the game would greatly benefit from avoiding them.
Wishing you the best going forward! Really excited for the demo.
