Overall Mercedes C Class is the best as it has style, comfort, luxury and more. Range Rover Evoque Convertible looks like a joke. Ford Mustang Convertible looks nice however the interior is the main downside.
Some time ago everybody was laughing at the BMW X6 coupe. Now every car brand has an SUV coupe. The same is going to happen with SUV convertibles. In a few years, everybody will start making them and people will buy them. And then we'll laugh at the Evoque haters just like BMW is laughing about Mercedes/Lamborghini/Porsche copying their X6.

An Evoke WITH a roof was the ugliest car based way of someone showing the world they have more money than class. This is the a whole level of tastelessness further.
Matt, you don't need a button to open the Mercedes boot. Under the reg plate, move your foot left to right to open the boot, right to left to close it.
I feel like Ford was living too much in the past when building this mustang. It's beautiful on the outside but many of its interior features baffle me. GM, one of Ford's primary competitors, on the other hand was forward-looking when building the Camaro, they realized the muscle car era is over for the most part and built a beautiful, technologically advanced American sports car that isn't expensive but not too luxurious.
I'm imagining the three of them in one driveway in suburban Dallas, LA or Miami. Ma and Pa Kettlesworth trade off the Evoq and Merc, and Lisa got the Mustang for her sweet 16.
I would pick the evoque because, I love the way you're sat up high, have some off road capabilities and has good space for four people in a convertible, and an SUV.😊😁

I didn't know the mustang was so much more expensive in the UK. it makes sense in the US because it is at least $10,000 cheaper than the C-Class so it's an easy buy for people not willing to pay so much. I just had the US mentality when I wrote my initial comment

I saw one of those convertible evoque’s the other day and it was actually surprisingly good looking. Weird as hell, but kind of cool. That being said, I’d never buy one in a thousand years.

If you ignore the badge the Vauxhall cascada actually is a great car for the price you can pick them up for now. Second hand with a few thousand miles on the clock can be picked up for around 15k. If you just want a 4 seater convertible for the sake of having a convertible the value for money trumps these cars or though I do like that mustang but it's really for the looks more than anything

The whole point of a convertible is that you get noticed. Personally I'd have the Evoque. It's unique and has the dual ability of all weather performance.

Lets just admit it... there shouldn't be back seats in the majority of coupes. It'd be great if it was just empty space to store things OR if it's a convertible; to store the top! But I've been in the back of that Evoque convertible (which is the only 2door Evoque in North America) and it's actually a decent place to sit.
What that Range Rover does is remind me of the original coach built Range Rover used in Octopussy. It's so unique and I really hope Range Rover make more 2 door cars and convertibles in future.
It looks nice for the car of that size. Mercedes C-class looks stunning and Evoque's luggage room is ridiculous. It takes 20 seconds for Mercedes to deploy the rooftop. Other cars are very slow in deploying the rooftop
I think this is one of those rare times where every car is a damp squib. Sorry Matt. Each one of these has significant drawbacks that outweigh the positives. But you were so right about the Mustang, what the hell's the point of a Mustang convertible if you dont' have that legendary V8!?!?!
Range Rover will get you over bumps without getting a flat tire/scraping, Mustang burn outs, and if you want to kill somebody,or have a death wish, Benz is good for luxury but you'd probably fall asleep while your driving, or the Benz is good for picking up a girl.
uhm... price as tested is always useful in a comparison. Benz will probably cost 50% more... also considering the typical reduced mileage convertibles get, running costs are a bit pointless.
Mercedes have really upped their game with the latest design language. Easy winners here, it would have been nice to see it against the new a5 convertible.
The Merc is miles ahead.... but for the climate we have here they are a waste of money, you need to be in Spain for one of these where it only rains one a Month...
Once again the intrinsic superiority of Mercedes-Benz comes to the fore. The Best or Nothing. I question why the rest of the car world cannot at any level follow Mercedes-Benz logic, style and quality. Perhaps will take the other manufacturer's another 100 years to learn how Mercedes-Benz can do it.
