Today I completed the game and I collected all the pieces for hardcore mode. I died in tower of time ;( after that I wanted to see someone doing the whole run without dying and fortunately you uploaded this video yesterday lol

Dude I thought I was gone there and at 1:56:34 when I hit the wall at the very beginning. 1:57:36 perfectly describes how I felt after those heart dropping moments
@@sephiroththephoenix that part would scare me the most. it's so fuckin cheap, you can't even clearly see what you are running into, died shit ton of times on regular mode just memorizing the sequence and enemies
I tried this on just new game plus 1 and dies on a jump in glacial peaks props to you for doing all this and especially doing abomination that fight alone just makes not want to do a run
Aw dude glacial peaks has ended a lot of my playthroughs! Same thing with cloud ruins, those two are especially tough when it comes to not falling in those pits. Abomination is also tough, but I think the main challenge with that encounter is not panicking! If you're feeling unconfident about a certain section, a tip I used a lot is to load up a save within that area (Or, for certain parts that can only be played once, to do a quick speedrun to it and then backup the save and reload it each time) and practice it a few times over before doing it in hardcore. But grats on getting to glacial peaks anyways! It's certainly a tough road to get there, and it's impressive enough that you made it that far :]
Awesome! May I ask: how did you get that skin? I know it's your ark counterpart from the DLC, but how did you manage to put it on the messenger? (I tried searching for mods of the game and couldn't find anything like this)
When you get all of the collectables from the DLC, you unlock that mask at the shop that lets you go hardcore and put that sweet evil skin on the character. No mods :]
Amazing my man.. Just wish there was like a little list of all the trophies achieved and their time.. I loved this game and really wanna platinum.. Whats the hardest trophy to get if there are any
Honestly with hardcore boss fights are the least of your worries since you do insane amounts of damage. The most dangerous things in this game when it comes to hardcore are pits and crushers, both of which are much easier to deal with with some patience and calm maneuvering, accidental button presses above pits can cause you to fall while hang gliding (such as the grapple) so be careful not to press those when in dangerous spots. The other thing that causes a lot of damage are the spikes and lasers in tower of time, their damage is managable but if you get careless the damage can really stack up. The thing is though that deaths are inevitable for the first few runs (I thought I was hot shit and could beat it in one hardcore run, then i ate shit in cloud ruins in a pit lmfao), just try your best to not get frustrated, learn from your mistakes, and most importantly, enjoy the game :) I personally really love getting into the music (you can hear me slashing to the beat many times during this playthrough), which really helps motivate me to blast through the stage. Getting into the character is a lot of fun and really adds to the intensity of hardcore mode (the messenger looks so badass with his shadow version!)
