I know this is a few months late but I'm watching it for the 3rd time. I can't get the shock keys and inner fenders in UK yet but they look awesome. A little trick I did, to keep the rear spare tyre fitted, was to remove the inner half of the rim and the foam. It fits back on fine and you wouldn't know. Halves the weight and if it binds up, it gives a bit.

Yeah I love my LC 80 I got the gray one I’ve only switched out tires and rims, and I put brass inner rings I inside all four rims I love it

Another killer LC80 video Matt. I am pretty excited to get mine in a couple weeks, same color too! With winter really setting in up here, it will see a ton of indoor use. I already received my sliders and keys from the same place. I really like the looks of the full inner fender setup and will likely order them as well. Keep on rock'n brother.

You can replace the heavy spare wheel by a light hollow 3d printed spare wheel cover (nothing inside). You'll save a lot of rear placed weight.😉

Thanks for all the FCX18 content man, without you, I probably wouldn't have bought one! I love the little feller although I keep having problems with it. A prop shaft broke and after it got stuck, I now have noises from the gearbox. I ordered a new gearbox, all that is dimming the fun a bit right now. By the way, Is it normal that the dampers start sweating after some usage? I found the springs to be too soft but maybe that's just me.
Could you make a video on suspension setting? There seems to be quite a lot of different opinions out there...

Definitely could! Would also allow you to move the esc and battery lower possibly. I just always knock magnet mounted bodies off so much I don’t even mess with them anymore lol

Just opened mine and I can stop the back tires with light pressure from a finger. The rear drive shaft keeps moving with the tires stopped. Busted pinion gear? Basically 2WD as is. Front tires put up way more of a fight and when they stop, the front drive shaft stops. I assume that's how the rear should be acting

I don’t get there with my flubber stuffers, my tires don’t side roll most of my 24s and my couple of my FCX 24s and 18 i’ve have the Flubber stuffers

From my point of view the servo is very strong but the saver is crap and makes it not steering well.
My rear axle seems to be slipping on my fcx18 do you believe it's the rear plastic diff gear? Driveshafts definitely aren't stripped.
More than likely it’s the plastic pinion gear in the rear axle. They like to oval out on the side that attaches to the shaft which the driveshaft attaches to. If you pull it apart and the teeth are good then pull that gear off the shaft and I bet the back side is rounded out. Happens to most at some point.
Right after your review he stopped printing all those parts.
Now I can't get them.. all I needed was the inner fenders.. 🙁

Any way I could Get a little help trouble shooting my lc80..ecs light is solid red an it should blink...can't drive forward or reverse..steering an lights work good ..battery for truck an controller are fresh an charged ..kind pissed about it lol..what should I do?
Hmmm not really sure. Have you tried plugging in another motor to it? Could possibly be the motor but may be the esc is bad.
@2fmrc well this is my only rc truck just got into the hobby..now I'd I grab the truck an give it a push with it in my hand I can get it to spin the wheels full speed..kinda like popping the clutch in a Is manual transmission...I just don't know if I should replace the motor or Transmitter and receiver...I also emailed fms iv only had this thing since new years eve
The steering works the lights work everything works besides drive and reverse
