Decided finally - The 1FZFE short block is going to the machine shop - Final teardown before it goes

Finally decided against searching and waiting on a new OEM Toyota short block. It could happen, but it is an undetermined amount of time. Instead I am opting to get the same machine shop that did an amazing job on the cylinder head to do the short block as well. Here are the final bits I had to remove before taking it to the machine shop.
Now we wait! In the meantime I'm going to try and get some other little things done on the land cruiser.

What did the machine shop quote you for the work? I'm in the process of pulling my engine out and I'm about to start contacting some shops, just looking for ballpark numbers so I can know if they are being straight with me.
