- The past week has been awesome... so many good days and boards ridden

I rode the 8'7 Placid for over 6 hours this week... smallest board I have surfed for that long. It was eazy pezy and super fun. Camera was super zoomed in, so it missed most of the best session.

Great video, I really enjoyed that one. Great choice of music too.
Tell me, why don’t you surf the Creek anymore?
Hi Warren, thank you!
I have actually surfed the Creek a few times in the past month but conditions never inspired a new video.
I have so many videos on the Creek and so many newer boards, that I usually chose a board that I need footage of (if it matches the conditions)
Every day, people all over the world ask me about the newer boards so I have to have a solid understanding, to make sure I give them the best advice possible.
Hey Rick…where were your surfing? Looks really fun. I met you at Juan Ponce DeLeon beach park in Florida last spring.
Hi Lundy, how are you?
I will be down there in November, so see you then!
The waves in this vid were all at my home breaks on Cape Cod.
Awesome surfing, Rick!
Hey Serge! How are you my friend?
Thanks for the kind words.... I hope you are getting some Fall surf as well 🤗
Nice Rick.
Good job! Both, in the water, and in the trailer. 😀
Hi Jud, I appreciate that.... I am super stoked with the trailer!
More than happy to have an affordable place to live for Cape Cod summers!
i would have liked to know the size and dimentions eg. volume of all the boards u tried out. and your weight and height cheers
Thank you jo seph
You are correct, and I usually do, but to keep the vid a short teaser vid I neglected to include all the info
I have also added this into the show notes, so thank you again!

I also sometimes use pliers to scatter sparks
ha ha... it wasn't planned.
I shut off everything to the water heater, but I should have shut off the main breaker!
Nice 👌🏼
Hey Ryan, thank you!
Thanks for sharing !!
Was able to get out today and have fun too.
Water is warm and clean here.

Thanks Dale!
I hope your Flash is treating you well... I will be down by Thanksgiving, so I will see you soon!
8.7 placid !? wow rick smallest ever board you tried ! happy with the board ?
I know huh?!?
Kind of blew me away how easy it was.... I spent 6 hours on it in 2 days.
I need to up my game to take advantage of the smaller size.
I can push it a lot harder than I have so far.... it's all about what you see yourself doing, so I need to retool my expectations.
Keep up the good work Rick...... from Tallebudgera.
Thanks Dave!
I spent some time in your area at the 84 Stubbies... pretty special place you have there!
Sparks in the water and sparks off the water. Great video Rick, you had me when the music kicked in. Hope it was 12V and not 110V. Saying that it’s 230V over here and that does wake you up. Stay safe Rick.
Merci' Marcel... yes, it was 110V but I used a good insulated wire cutter!

@@rickweeks thanks Rick I’ll check them out. Glad you’re okay
some good size waves in that lot!
the interesting thing is, most were 6 -7 sec local swells, forecasted at 1 -2 ft 🤗
Good job Ricky
Thanks Shred, I hope you got some of these swells down at Gilligan's Island!
