Just sold a 1219 yesterday. I make spindles from scratch with rod chucked in my drill and a bench grinder. With a steady hand I can make 3 or 4 inside of 30 mins. Then polish through 400 to 3000 grit and compound. The deering ring O ring support rubber washer is a must do maintenance item on the 1249, 1219 and 1229. I buy pimples in bulk from a guy in Colorado and the orings from a supplier in NY.
Hi Turntable Guy. Do you have any videos on the Dual 1019. I am working on one and having quite a time on adjustment of the arm for setting down correctly on the record. Any adjustment screw that adjust this issue. Thank You.
