scholars now admit that 1 John 5:7 was NOT written by the hand of John. Having access to collections of hundreds of manuscripts, modern scholars are able to determine this verse was introduced into the Bible long after John wrote this letter.
The entire section from Mark 16:9 to the end is NOW widely regarded as not part of the original gospel of Mark, because it's missing from two of the most important textual uncial witnesses, Sinaiticus and Vaticanus.
Additionally, there are other versions of the ending of Mark floating around there, suggesting that the scribes were baffled that Mark's gospel would end after verse 16:8, and tried to supply a more adequate ending.

I'm a former Christian and graduate of bible college who converted/reverted to Islam at the age of 39 (1999) not because I didn't like being a Christian, but because I didn't like Christianity, because I certainly did, but because I came to believe I could completely trust the Quran as an infallible document. I still love and respect the Bible, but not everything it reports is true.
Even if the New Revised Standard Version is used rather than the KJV, the Apostles Creed is still affirmed by that translation, but the full deity of Christ, and the Trinity cannot be proven.
I read several of Dr. James White's books, and watched many of his debates, back when I was a Christian. I disagree with the conclusion given by you, Muslim by Choice, that James White is an Islamophobe. The early Muslim Caliphate never forced conversions. That was only done by some later movements. Not even the Turkish Caliph, which at the end showed non-Islamic ethics, forced conversions in it heyday. I believe Dr. White was not trying to say that once the early Islamic state formed in Medina, it started forcing conversions. Dr. White exposed one of the Caner brothers who claimed he became a Fundamentalist Baptist and stated that all these Muslim countries, Sunni, Shia, and Wahabis, were all working together against the West. I watched that take place over the internet. Cancer had so many misconceptions not only about Islam, but other world religions such as Sikhism, and claimed to have debated people like Shabbir Ally and even named a well known Arab convert to Christianity as one of his debate opponents, which was so ridiculous because he named a Christian minister. Dr. White asked Shabbir Ally about Caner, but Ally never knew about Caner. Cancer had lied about how he became a Christian, and who he had debated, and after being exposed, lost his job at a Fundamentalist Baptist university.
I believe that you, MuslimByChoice, made an honest mistake concerning Dr. White, and I find many of your videos English worthwhile and helpful, so brother, I am a subscriber.
Finally, there are some Sunni traditions collected a couple hundred years after the fact that say things about added Surah and a lost Surah, but many Sunni scholars don't believe those traditions are reliable. I state this for the Christian Dmitri Ivanov. Those traditions would be laughed at by Shia Scholars who don't have them in the classic Shia books of traditions, so they would agree many Sunni Scholars on that issue. Traditional Sunni scholars are not like many modern Salafists and most Wahabists in that one cannot use even a Sahih tradition on its own. For one, it must not contradict the Quran to be useful. There is very little Quranic abrogation done by traditional Sunni Scholars. Most Shia Muslim scholars would say no abrogation at all. Of course, traditional Sunni scholars have a somewhat different approach to the science's of hosing traditions, as well as a somewhat different historical narrative, than do Shia scholars, so there are some differences in theology, history, jurisprudence, and etc., though there are differences within each schools scholarly circles, also. Yet, Sunnis and Shias share not only the same final Prophet and Arabic Quran, but also the 4th and last rightly guided Sunni Caliph, Ali Ibn Talib, who married Fatima Zahra, the daughter of the Prophet, is also the First Shia Imam. Further, all but on Sufi Tarika (path) has Ali Ibn Talib as the first lineage holder after the Prophet, and the one that does not has the sixth Imam Jafar As-Saddiq in its lineage, so there is still much common ground between Sunnis and Shias, although Wahabists like the Saudis will have much less common ground with the Shias, and for that matter with Sunnis who are Sufis.

Qur’an does not teach to hate any non-Muslim:

It’s well known that people from the Hawza, high ranking sheikhs are the ones that say the Quran came with 17,000 verses and those verses were prevented from being entered by the sahaba RA and that Jibreel revealed the remaining 10,000 to Fatima . 100% of the doctrine necessary for understanding the trinity are present without 1 John 5:7. I’ve no idea why people think that verse was added to present the trinity to us. The New Testament is clear about the trinity without outside that verse.
I believe it was taken out by Gnostics or Arians, due to their obsession with attacking Jesus christ's deity and divinity. These people were heretics in the 1st and 2nd Century. Gnostics were located where? Alexandria Egypt, where the manuscripts wescott and hort translated were found. Plenty of testimonies of early church fathers talking about gnostics corrupting scriptures. Irenaeus of Leon 130-202 AD. said "Marcion and his followers have betaken themselves to mutilating the scriptures..not acknowledging some books at all...and curtailing the gospel according to Luke and the epistles of Paul...which they have themselves thus shortened."
Another is Gaius an orthodox father who wrote between 175-200 AD. He names Asclepiades,Theodotus, Hermophilus,and Apollonides as heretics..."who prepared corrupted copies of the scriptures and who had disciples who multiplied copies of their fabrications." Paul warned about it in 2 Corithians 2:17 kjv. Cyprian of Carthage is quoting 1 John 5:7 in his first treatise trying to bring unity in the catholic church. He lived 200-258AD. So it's a lie that 1john 5:7 wasnt in earlier greek manuscripts. Otherwise this guy wouldnt be quoting it in the 3rd century. They say the earliest manuscript it's in was the 14th century. They used to say 16th. Their notes keep changing and it's still a lie. Stick with the KJV there was an agenda back then to change Gods word and theres an agenda today. The modern versions of the bible do, and it's because they were translated from different manuscripts. Then the kjv. Now of coarse I'm speaking for the english translations. The preponderance of Greek manuscripts (before the Romans imposed their pantheon of gods onto Christianity) never stated that Jesus Christ was any kind of new god the Hebrews did not know.
God is One. And there are no other persons, substances, demigods or gods beside Him.

Mark 16:9 to 20 is in the Diatessaron of Tatian written in The early Second Century and Didascalia Apostolorum mentions the Woman in Adultery and so did Pacian of Barcelona wrote "O Novatians, why do you delay to ask an eye for an eye? ... Kill the thief. Stone the petulant. Choose not to read in the Gospel that the Lord spared even the adulteress who confessed, when none had condemned her."

So as early as Papias the Women in Adultery was considered Scripture.
Clement of Alexandria makes a clear reference to 1 John 5:7
He says, "This is He who came by water and blood"; and again, - For there are three that bear witness, the spirit, which is life, and the water, which is regeneration and faith, and the blood, which is knowledge; "and these three are one. For in the Saviour are those saving virtues, and life itself exists in His own Son."
Early manuscripts are not necessarily better. There were many false teachers in the early years of the church, and subsequently there were early false manuscripts, many of which remain in good condition today because they were rejected and therefore not read or handled much. It's a faulty leap of logic to say early manuscripts are more accurate; however, in all fairness, that may be true in some cases, but not necessarily in all. It is risky business to assume a fixed rule to the effect that early is more accurate. It's simply not true. Nor is it a deductive conclusion.

Muslims persist in thinking that Christians think of the Bible in the same way as Muslims think of the Qur'an. In Islam the Qur'an is the Word of God; in Christianity Jesus Christ is the Word of God (and the Bible is _only_ the word of God in so far as it bears witness to him). Do you see the difference? The Bible is a human/divine work; whereas Muslims believe that the Qur'an is wholly divine- even though it is mistaken about certain things, such as the nature of the trinity and that Jesus was not crucified, etc.

That’s circulating thinking, Quran says bible is corrupted and you say quran has mistakes coz it doesn’t fit the bibles narrative. The problem you have is that the bible contradicts itself.
It's funny that Islam worries so much about a letter or word and do not consider the ramifications of the message underneath. Being a Christian myself I am completely OK with the scrutiny applied to the Bible. Much of the early work was completed by Jews and probably had some Levitical procedure applied to the recreation of texts but over time as the gospel spread throughout the Hellenistic world and beyond less scrutiny was applied. Some may have been rewriting texts for their neighbours and endeavored to explain some passage more clearly. In the end the message is what counts within Christianity. With Islam there can be no debate even though it is clear that a century or so after Mohammed the establishment purged any texts that were not uniform and yet there are still some small differences... If the Koran was placed under the same scrutiny of the Bible these past 300 years it would have collapsed on itself.

My parents where raised as Muslims, I was raised as an Atheist in atheist country, got converted to Christianity after I see Jesus vision in my dream, later on I learned that all the three big major religions are based on the Bible Old testament. Jewish's have only one book Torah. Christian have so many Bibles from the KJV who was translated from the Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic, to the NIV, NINV, AMPLYFIRE and others.Muslims have only one Book also the (Quran)I been told all bibles are the same, and some people told that new published bibles have cut off lots of words for better translation. basically they have taken away to many words from the bible. Where God said "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish out from it, that ye may keep the Commandment of the LORD your God which I command you." (Deuteronomy 4:2 ) Amen.I like if the KJV was translated from the Original bible, what about the new publish bibles where they where translated from?
If 1 John 5:7 wasn't in greek manuscripts earlier than the 14th century than why was Cyprian of Carthage who existed in the 3rd Century quoting it in his first treatise attempting to unify the roman catholic church? It kind of destroys the lie that it was inserted in the 14th Century. Makes more sense it was preserved when paul wrote it only 130 years before cyprian is walking around quoting from it in 200-258 AD. There are books with over 400 pages of evidence disputing this nonsense on 1 john 5:7 alone. It took me 10 minutes to debunk this.

@@AlexSilva-x you have to understand there is little greek manuscript evidence, but that doesn't mean there isnt other evidence.
@@AlexSilva-x another thing to consider, when the kjv was translated, the translators had over 5000 manuscripts in which they used 99% of. The modern versions even though they have alot more manuscripts to go off of they only used less than 1% of them. The translation processes were different, on top of the fact that out of the 1% of manuscripts they used, they used corrupted manuscripts. If you go to my channel and go to corrupted bible versions playlist, I've done alot of episodes on the modern versions and I added a few documentary films that I feel are pretty good. A lamp in the dark series is one that tackles alot of church history after the bible, I have a few issues with it but overall it's pretty good. New world order bible versions is another good one. The passage in Isaiah is a reference to YHWH.
Rev 1 :8, is a reference to YHWH. Rev 1 :17 is a reference to Jesus.
However, your mistake is to assume that the same or similar titles cannot be applied to different individuals depending on their role. In the Bible, Moses, Hebrew Kings, Judges and angels are all called God/god, but we never assume that the title God means that they are YHWH. Likewise, the term 'saviour' applies in scripture to YHWH, Jesus and Judges. But we never claim that the Judges were YHWH.

It's the same thing for the other attributes like savior; one can be the "savior" of its company, but God is the only ultimate savior of our souls,the only true savior.
However, the title THE first and THE LAST is only attributated to Yaweh in the Bible in any shape of form he is the only one with this title. It's not like savior; that someone can save his team from losing a game.
This is why in the context of Isaiah when he first speaks of this title ( first and last) he says :
"I am the first and I am also the last, *beside me there is no God *
showing the uniqueness of this title. "
And he is the only true God ( mighty) because all others powers are dependent of him, therefore they are not really mighty " gods"
The context is important yes and this is why before Jesus says that he is the first and the last in revelation 1,
It is said ( by GOD the Almighty ) just a couple verses before in the same chapter, same context, so that we are sure that it is God and only God who is the first and the last, and therefore understand that when Jesus repeat it a couple verses latter it's because he is God who spoke in the verse earlier.

The expression 'First and Last' appears to have been well understood even in bible times.
However, in the book of Revelation, many titles are applied to Jesus but he is always differentiated from God. Indeed, the first two verses of Revelation differentiate God and Jesus and clearly show that the revelation was given to Jesus by God. Furthermore, we see that numerous speakers are involved and , if not careful, we may become a victim of speaker confusion. In verses 8 and 9 we see different speakers . The phrase Lord God is only given to YHWH.

9.Jesus gives eternal life (John 10)
