This is an awesome video. I currently have a 2019 BMW 530e with M sport seats with lumbar support (both driver and passenger) with heating on both sides. They are ivory and have stained yellow. I want to change them out for the black nappa seats (just like the ones you changed out except black). Would this be a plug and play? my car doesn't currently have ventilated seats. Would I need an additional wiring harness? coding? Any suggestions would be great. I am a first time BMW owner, but I have always worked on my own cars.
Great video. Do you have the one for the rear seats? I have a rattle coming from the left rear passenger seat... I am convinced it is related to the seat, as when someone is sat there or a bag is on that seat, it stops rattling. It's driving me crazy. So I wondered if it is related to the rear seat fitting. Thanks
@@carraw5833 when you say lift the rear seat, do you mean pull it up so it comes away from the chassis? Is it not clipped in by a…clip? Does that not have to be released? Thanks

I've just retrofitted these in to my LR Discovery 2 and I love them! However, I have a weird problem with the driver side electrics. When plugged in, all electrics work for say 10 minutes but then nothing! Unplug or cut power for 30 seconds and then the seat works again for approx 10 minutes... Any ideas?
@@carraw5833 The BDC on the Discovery 2? If so then no... There is a controller on both seats but the controller on the drivers side is a lot more complex then the passenger and its only the drivers side that has the issue. Passenger is fine... Ive since bought an additional passenger side controller in thew hope that I can fit it to the drivers side...
Hi can you do a step by step on how to retrofit the comfort seats. I am getting airbag error. Do I need to buy anything else like harness for them. Thanks.
Hi it depends what seats you had before. And witch one are you retrofitting? I had also airbag fault. But that was due the headrest airbag. Just send me info, and i will help

Hi, I would like to ask about fitment from rhd to lhd. For example I have the basic fabric seats in my car and there is couple of different m sport seats in sale here that came from UK. So how does it work? Is it plug and play? What things I should know if I want to retrofit them. Thanks man👍🏼
You need lhd seats as they are diffrent where seatbelts and adjustments for seats are. Also the seatsensor is diffrent on lhd to rhd. Best way is to get lhd to lhd car!
I have these seats in my g30 and the base is soooo uncomfortable. I believe it's because of the massage function. It feels like I'm sitting on a bucket. Awful. Anyone else have this problem?

You just need to lift the rear seats straight up and its loose

@@stephent11 if its the seat you sit on and not lean on, you just need to pull it straight up really hard. Its just attached to some metal clips.

Its not that difficult. New wiring from BDC IS REQUIRED.

Everything coded to BDC? As Bdc is the system that respond to the elextronics

Why did you not change the dash to same color? It looks good enough but not authentic
I had the option to do it, but for me it was not worth it due the all hassle and noices afterwards.

It is not plug and play, you must put new wires from seats to bdc, and then also coding is neded for full functionality.

On the seats? You have to push the tabs just enough not to break them.
did you retrofitted seat memory ? I have a G30 with memory only on the driver seat and want to put memory on the passenger seat
I retrofittet comfort seats with memory, massage and ventilation☺️

Absolutly worth it! Day and night diffrence! You can adjust the seats in. Any ways. Where the sports seats have very basic adjustments.
Its very bigg diffrence! Deffo worth from sportsseats to comfor seats due the ability to adjust the seats how ever you want.

Yes i do agree. The seats with ventilation and massage does harm the comfoet zone on the seats. The seats i had before was much more softer
