Saw you directing yesterday from my dress circle seat at Ain’t too Proud. Fantastic!! It was so cool watching you work! Great great job to you and all involved in the show. So good I saw it twice. 🥂🥂
This is one of those WOW warm ups. Cannot thank you enough for sharing this. Some great work involved. Think I went slightly off pitch for a little bit here and there but as it's a new warm up for me, I will grasp it next time. The last section is pretty exciting - a crescendo to the whole programme! Couldn't help but "LET IT GO" !! I sing musical theatre and opera. Many many thanks. Would love to see more videos from you.
Thanks Matt. I have just been having fun singing these warm ups. They are very varied and good for all singers. Another of your listeners recommended me to your video and I am so happy she did.
Matt, I know just what you mean about trying not to sing the higher notes too loud. I am training now to try to "tame" the volume of my higher notes down as I was drowning out some of the music at times! As a soprano, my tessitura lies between between D5 to A5, my range being D3 to C6, though I can sing some songs that actually reach F6.
I just wanted to thank you for this - I use it before every vocal lesson.
Literally my favorite warm up! I WILL be on this cast one day. Thank you ❤️❤️
Girrrrrls do you reach that high in the last exercise???!!!! That's insane
Yes! I was shocked it was a “c” so easy. 🎉

Thanks Matt. I enjoyed that, and it was helpful. It's been 25 years since my last singing lesson!
