I love the child’s voice in the beginning, makes me imagine a kid name Jack pretending to be a pirate/giant but then the kid grows up to be one and realizes it is dangerous.
I always imagine a bunch of pirates stopping by an island and telling a local child about their adventures, using a bit of magic for added effect, full-on musical style.

I love how the child's voice at first seems to add a layer of lightheartedness to the song, only to notice the very disturbing and vile underlying meaning when you remember that this is a pirates' song and that the lyrics are... you know what I mean.

The kid in the background coupled with the story of the lyrics makes this feel like a dad telling his kid about his adventures as a pirate, painting an adventure out of what was probably actually both an incredibly freeing _and_ dangerous/stressful time for him.
Like if Nathan Drake from uncharted made his adventures into stories for his daughter (rather than him and elena [rightfully] waiting until shes old enough to understand what theyve done in their lives and Why).
I really like how they added the kid's voice and laughter, it makes an awesome song even better!

I can see a pirate adventure half way through their trip. Stoping at a big island and having a beach party. Then one goes to the rum barrel and sees blood on side of it. Next you see him yell who blead on the rum barrel. Then out of the black night a deep voice and a little girls voice say fee fi foe thump I smell the blood of englishmen. Haha can't stop listening to this addictive song.
