I was born in '80 and also friendless and very much loved my toys. I was feeling sad tonight and watching Toy Story (why lol) which brought back this memory of one of the stuffed dolls I had. She was mid-sized, kinda flat with pink yarn hair and a pink crinkly dress and hat (I think). She was probably not anything popular, but I remember I loved her very much. Along with all of my toys. My mom, unfortunately, threw away everything. I appreciate videos like this - made me feel a little less alone tonight. Thank you for sharing :)

Literally you and I are Kindred Spirits just listening to you talk about your childhood and your toys I'm a 1980 baby so I grew up going to kindergarten in 1985 turn 10 years old in 1990 that's when we had our cool preteen stuff like pocket rocker karaoke machines and cool board games like the Gypsy crystal ball and the mall game where you would swipe your credit cards LOL
Isnt scary to find out the real Annabelle was a raggedy ann lol I have mine in a b lo ack bag now cause I don't mess with demon forces lol

Hello! First of all, I would really like to tell you, that I enjoyed your sharing your dolls, and your stuffy’s with us. I am quite a bit older than you, and I would be so excited when I was a little girl, hoping to get certain dolls that I have always wanted. I didn’t always get the dolls that I wanted but now that I can do it, I’ll buy the dolls that I had when I was growing up, plus dolls that I have always wanted. Most recently I got a baby girl bye-bye doll and I am so happy to have her now. I have strawberry shortcake dolls like you do with the scented kisses. I have strawberry shortcake and all of her friends. I understand what it’s like not having very many people to play with well you were growing up. I am blind, and I didn’t always have people to play with me. My dolls and my stuffed animals were people for me and we played school, and house, and anything that came to mind. I just thought I would share that with you. Forgive my dictation, I meant to say, baby go bye-bye doll.😊

Your yellow bear is called a Wuzzle there two animals that got mixed together and then they would give it a name that sounded like those two words put together and there was a Saturday morning cartoon about them and yes I do believe that disney-owned part of their trademark or something

When I was kid, I don't have a lot of dolls, so until this days I love to have them very bad even when I'm not thet baby girl anymore! They make me feel happy. 💔

So nostalgic! Thank you for sharing. I haven't seen some of these in a long time. I had the exact same My Child and Hugga Bunch as you. My parents also had to fight for our first 2 cabbage patch dolls-I ended up getting a brown haired doll (I was blonde), but they got a red-headed doll for my red-headed sister. My son inherited my first Raggedy Ann doll (same as yours) and he named her Little Girl. When her head almost fell off from wear, my Mom sewed a white fancy choker around her neck! When her feet began to tear, we sewed white sport socks onto her. Now she is safely tucked away again.
I love this story! Thats what I love about dolls and toys! They come with so much memories for us from our childhood :) I love how your mommy helped fix her!

Lovely video! Really nice to see all your toys and that you still treasure them so much still. I got very excited when you shared Butterbear, I loved the wuzzles as a kid but no one else knew what they were. I have a storybook of it and never knew they did toys!

I loved your video, I too still have things I’ve kept from my childhood, I was born right at the tail end of the 80’s. Best era of shows and toys in my humble opinion! :) Glad I’m not the only one who loves stuffed animals

It's cool to see so many toys that I also had. I had Baby Strawberry Shortcake, a Popple, a Cabbage Patch Kid, a Raggedy Ann doll, and Sea Wees. I still have a few of my childhood toys. I have my Teddy Ruxpin along with all of his tapes and books. I also have a Kermit the Frog plush that I've had since the age of 18 months (I am almost 40 now). I also have a toy car from the same time period, a couple of Barbies, some vintage dolls I collected, and a troll doll.
Thats awesome!!! It was such an amazing time to be a kid!:) I always wanted Teddy Ruxpin! I had Cricket :) I wish I still did. Its so much fun to still have some of my toys, great memories!:) Thats Awesome! Would love to see your collection!:)

I really need to start collection plushies from my childhood times ! ❤️ I still have a lot when I was little . I was so sad 😭 when my mom threw most of my plushies & toys away 😩💔 & same girl I used to play with dolls & toys and talking to them cause i barely had friends 😅😂 I remember me cutting by dolls hairs 😂😂

my mummy growed up in the 80s and she had all those toys and when we went to visit my nanny in England which is the house she stayed in when she was little she had all those toys and she gave them to me

I worked for Goodwill and you won't believe how they treat people's precious mementos that they think will be loved and cared for until the new owner buys it so I'm going to assume that where you found your broken dolls without a Goodwill store they are awful as an organization and I pray to God none of you donate your stuff to them or give them your money! My recommendation is doing a local mom-and-pop type thrift store that you know donates to a charity or Salvation Army or I have a local one here in my area they're affiliated with schools for people with disabilities
.That's so sad :( Yes some people dont understand the value of something untill its to late. I go to St Vincent"s and try not to go to the bigger ones if I can. They profit off of the items and the money doesn't go to charity alot of the time. Thats why I try and go to a Salvation Army and St Vincent's.❤️❤️❤️
