"I took a polaroid of Dennis Rodman's eyeball for the No Code cover. As the photo developed he looked at the emerging image and said 'Can you say octopus?' Sigmund Freud played by Phil Jackson." - Eddie Vedder
That was awesome Eddie and Dennis go wayyy back, I remember the 1998 Chicago concert when Dennis shown up on stage it was hilarious, Eddie trying to get him to sit down while they were performing on stage. Thank you for sharing this awesome video 😊💓🤘✌️
This is cool simply because the recorded song has his voice message saying what he says here. The odds of making that happen are pretty small. It's why Ed looks at Matt right after as in to keep the song going , so time wise ,it would be close to the recorded version . He also came out with a water, said his part n left ,unlike Dallas 98' .
I went to the show two days earlier. Man I wish I had picked to go to this show instead. That said, I was in Detroit in 2014 when they played this song.
Eddie is a Sonics fan. Pearl Jam is the best band ever. They crossed boundaries with their music. Its his voice and emotions while he sings it. Im a metalhead and I dig Adele and Whitney.
It's not that he flubs Even Flow, it's one of their most played songs, and it gets to be very boring to play a song so much, even if it's an amazing composition.
If you don't know why dennis is right there, is because he was about to commit a suicide, but he listened "even flow" and for any reason he felt calm down
What? How’d you figure this? I know Eddie made a comment about it being good he wasn’t at one of his shows become that meant he was taking care of himself. Is that what it was about? 😬
Dennis is a different breed of Republican though and I'm sure Eddie sees that. Don't tell me you don't have friends on the opposite side of the political spectrum? As long as there's no violence it's all good.

@@Gunngirl i think in an interview Drod said this
eddie hates trump, rodman loves trump... wonder if they discuss it??
Kris Radke relax, was just posing a question. didnt mean to give you an aneurysm
robertk2007 as long as they have free speech and dont bully each other if they disagree or its just people being hypocrites !
Given that he kicked dave abbruzzese out of the band for being pro gun, it is an interesting question...
He was best friends with Johnny Ramone, a well-known right conservative

I'm surprised Rodman didn't promote North Korea on stage.
