The just a little bit older pro´s have got their skills and placement on court, down to the exact spot. Excellent volleys, deep and making the opponent work for the points. Really nice to see them play. Putting the ball back solidly, making a good placement on volleys, putting preassure on the opponents and waiting for the kill shot. Thats experience, old school tennis at its best. I am just smiling here in Sweden, watching this classic style of play.

Suzuki was a class above the others, better volleys, better serve, better returns.

Arimoto Pro looks like a Japanese samurai or shogun which just gives the rivals tons of pressure by standing in front of him and looking at his eyes. I literally felt the 威压 just by watching the video. It's intimidating.

Suzuki-sensei is still awesome! I wish I could find a video of him playing at Wimbledon, where his S&V mastery would have surely have been amazing.

Former pair has better placement of shots. Current pair was just trying to overpower them

9:37 I bet Takao felt a rush of nostalgia on this point.

Unbelievable match! Both players in black t-shirts served superb, while other two have huge fundamental problems with the serve, both the 1st and the 2nd. WHAT AMAZING IS THE JAPANESE CULTURE. RESPECT AND NO AGRESSION TOWARDS THE OPPONENT. Partly the elders team success was out of the youngsters respect to the age. Great edifying match, though. Much more useful for me then watching the ATP doubles. 😊
