I have been lovingggg this series, I have had my business for years now but have not been consistent due to life changes. Being a mom of 2, you can really lose focus on what's important to you. Now that my second baby is getting older I'm so ready to jump back into things and taking time for me, and my business. A few years ago I lost some money of trying to launch physical product myself. Many things you mentioned in this video I knew even back then, but somehow I just didn’t do them! I guess having these lessons imprinted on my brain with pain of losing money and time was needed to learn that this is the right f way to do it!

STEP 6: Plan visual assets and shoots STEP 7: Plan PR and Influencer Marketing STEP 8: Plan Email Marketing Campaigns STEP 9: Launch risk assessment STEP 10: Website set-up and eComm tactics. Planning is your best friend. How can we get your audience/the general public to actually care? How can you take them on the journey so they can actually see it and engage with it? STEP 1; Define your commercials and KPI’s. You need to understand your commercials so that you can have a clear picture of your campaign forecast. - Finalize your prices and forecast your launch performance. Are you offering a limited time launch offer? Is your launch strategy stronger this time around? Are you doing anything different? Are there any previous launches you can compare to? Do you have a wait list of any form? Flipside: Launch does not meet expectations part of the process, but understand why and utilize data - Ensure you carry those learnings forward with you. KPI - Key Performance Indicators This should be aligned with your campaign forecast and wider business goals. For a product launch, your KPI’s should be related to traffic, revenue profit, orders, unit sold, AOV/UPT (Average Order Value / Units Per Transaction), conversions. All these metrics need to be monitored. Hone in on 2/3 main KPI’s that define what success is for this product launch and ones that latter up to your wider business objectives. e.g - Increase your launch-week daily website sessions by 50% vs your average always-on daily traffic. - Increasing your website conversion rate from 2% - 2.5%. -Increasing your average units per transaction from 1.2 to 1.5. Work backwards from these KPI’s to strategize how to achieve them e.g To increase units per transaction: - Add a free shipping threshold that’s above your average RRP - Having a multibuy saving - Offering quick-add related product recommendations These are the pulse of your marketing campaign and business strategy. To ensure that every action is a step towards measurable and sustainable growth of your business overall. Without your KPI’s, you will not know what is working and why! STEP 2: Write out your product Key Messaging House. You need to ensure cohesion across different channels. Define all your messaging for your campaign to be used on every single platform outlining Ups, key features and benefits and problems you’re solving. Problem solving house visual on 14:37 Roof - umbrella statement Rooms: Primary core message | Secondary core message | Tertiary core message Foundation: Reason to believe, evidence, proof points, support This helps everyone involved to get the same message and spread the same message. STEP 3: Plan your critical path and campaign activation calendar. Clearly map out every step of the activation. Route map: Messaging house - Key campaign dates - Finalize campaign commercials - Content calendar - Shoot Plan - Digital marketing strategy - PR & Influencer strategy - Launch Campaign email strategy - Launch risk assessment Helps you identify any potential bottlenecks or blockers early on. Add in flexibility and wiggle room. When working with people you usually don’t work with, factor in significant buffers for more rounds of amends than you would probably expect. STEP 4: Curating your content calendar. Need to be on your absolute A-game with your launch content strategy. Get as many high performing content examples as possible on P, IG, TT Create a calendar view and link your content examples. Exclusive early access, Launch offers 3. Announce your new product. introduce your product while creating anticipation and providing key launch details . Teaser content - Announcement content - Educational content Grace recommends shorter launch period than 2-3 weeks. Talk about your why, highlight design process etc. Compelling narrative that drives action. Problem - > Solution -> Method The 3 questions you want your content to answer; A) What problem is your new product solving? B) What solution have you come up with? C) How did you go about making it? To equip potential costumers with all the information they need before deciding to purchase at launch time. Build trust and understand between brand and customer and do it with a story telling point of view to further highlight the journey behind the products. How would you describe this product to a friend? This pre-launch education is essential to inform customers to make an educated decision and therefor drive higher conversion rates. 5. Launch day content should reinforce the most compelling campaign messages. On launch date, reemphasize key benefits and USP’s to convince anyone on the fence and address any customer concerns trough Q&A’s. STEP 5: Design your paid ads strategy. - Which platforms you’re going to run your ads on - What spend you’re going to put behind which creatives - What the ad campaign KPI’s are Best performing content on social often leads to best performing content on ads. What keywords would you target? What are your target market searching for? What is organically trending on tiktok? I absolutely love the mini series!!! I started a notebook specifically not only for your video series but your channel that I am now scrolimg through of a night whilst feeding my little one. This is exatly what I needed and extremely timely. I have been lovingggg this series, I have had my business for years now but have not been consistent due to life changes. Being a mom of 2, you can really lose focus on what's important to you. Now that my second baby is getting older I'm so ready to jump back into things and taking time for me, and my business. Planning is your best friend.
How can we get your audience/the general public to actually care?
How can you take them on the journey so they can actually see it and engage with it?
STEP 1; Define your commercials and KPI’s.
You need to understand your commercials so that you can have a clear picture of your campaign forecast.
- Finalize your prices and forecast your launch performance.
Are you offering a limited time launch offer?
Is your launch strategy stronger this time around?
Are you doing anything different?
Are there any previous launches you can compare to?
Do you have a wait list of any form?
Flipside: Launch does not meet expectations part of the process, but understand why and utilize data
- Ensure you carry those learnings forward with you.
KPI - Key Performance Indicators
This should be aligned with your campaign forecast and wider business goals.
For a product launch, your KPI’s should be related to traffic, revenue profit, orders, unit sold, AOV/UPT (Average Order Value / Units Per Transaction), conversions. All these metrics need to be monitored.
Hone in on 2/3 main KPI’s that define what success is for this product launch and ones that latter up to your wider business objectives.
e.g - Increase your launch-week daily website sessions by 50% vs your average always-on daily traffic.
- Increasing your website conversion rate from 2% - 2.5%.
-Increasing your average units per transaction from 1.2 to 1.5.
Work backwards from these KPI’s to strategize how to achieve them
e.g To increase units per transaction:
- Add a free shipping threshold that’s above your average RRP
- Having a multibuy saving
- Offering quick-add related product recommendations
These are the pulse of your marketing campaign and business strategy.
To ensure that every action is a step towards measurable and sustainable growth of your business overall.
Without your KPI’s, you will not know what is working and why!
STEP 2: Write out your product Key Messaging House.
You need to ensure cohesion across different channels.
Define all your messaging for your campaign to be used on every single platform outlining
Ups, key features and benefits and problems you’re solving.

Foundation: Reason to believe, evidence, proof points, support
This helps everyone involved to get the same message and spread the same message.
STEP 3: Plan your critical path and campaign activation calendar.
Clearly map out every step of the activation.
Route map:
Messaging house - Key campaign dates - Finalize campaign commercials - Content calendar - Shoot Plan - Digital marketing strategy - PR & Influencer strategy - Launch Campaign email strategy - Launch risk assessment
Helps you identify any potential bottlenecks or blockers early on. Add in flexibility and wiggle room.
When working with people you usually don’t work with, factor in significant buffers for more rounds of amends than you would probably expect.
STEP 4: Curating your content calendar.
Need to be on your absolute A-game with your launch content strategy.
Get as many high performing content examples as possible on P, IG, TT
Create a calendar view and link your content examples. Use your key messaging house to write your content messaging and your captions. Engaging, compelling to build nurturing and engaged audience.
HOW?
1. Start with teaser content to create anticipation.
Filters, Close-up shots, design processes, encourage audience engagement by generating speculation and discussion, this can build a sense of community around your product.
2. Build a mailing list.
Exclusive early access, Launch offers
3. Announce your new product.
introduce your product while creating anticipation and providing key launch details .
Teaser content - Announcement content - Educational content
Grace recommends shorter launch period than 2-3 weeks.
Talk about your why, highlight design process etc. Compelling narrative that drives action.
Problem - > Solution -> Method
The 3 questions you want your content to answer;
A) What problem is your new product solving?
B) What solution have you come up with?
C) How did you go about making it? What’s special about it? What makes it unique?
4. After you announce, product education content should go deeper into these USP’s and problem-solving elements.
To equip potential costumers with all the information they need before deciding to purchase at launch time. Build trust and understand between brand and customer and do it with a story telling point of view to further highlight the journey behind the products.
How would you describe this product to a friend?
This pre-launch education is essential to inform customers to make an educated decision and therefor drive higher conversion rates.
5. Launch day content should reinforce the most compelling campaign messages.
On launch date, reemphasize key benefits and USP’s to convince anyone on the fence and address any customer concerns trough Q&A’s.
STEP 5: Design your paid ads strategy.
- Which platforms you’re going to run your ads on
- What spend you’re going to put behind which creatives
- What the ad campaign KPI’s are
Best performing content on social often leads to best performing content on ads.
What keywords would you target? What are your target market searching for?
What is organically trending on tiktok?
Should you test selfie style and low budget or on location with high end photography?
Goal: Maximizing budget, testing new formats, targeting new audience, and extracting optimum value. Every penny spend is a step towards is not only about visibility, but conversion.
Make sure your content stands out in the crowded digital space.
Key= Testing + Optimizing.
“Your ads do not need to be clinically polished. In fact, please don’t do that! “
That’s why influencer marketing works so well; it meets the customer where they are.
Always think about the hook: (problem based)
- What message are we trying to get across?
- What angle are we testing?
- What value proposition do I believe will convert the best?
STEP 6: Plan visual assets and shoots
Budget, inspo, asset requirements, location, contractor options
When shooting don’t do cheesy smiles lol
Shoot plan: Strategize
Brainstorm locations
Gathering references from a range of sources P,IG,TT - use this to create a shot list
Outfits, Model, Times
Build a call sheet to act as a schedule for the day
Excel sheet house everything in
Start booking everything in
STEP 7: Plan PR and Influencer Marketing
Designing/ordering PR boxes
Reaching out to creators
Writing content briefs for paid partnerships
STEP 8: Plan Email Marketing Campaigns
Build out your email strategy to align with your overall campaign plan
Product launch email campaigns are to generate excitement, build anticipation and drive sales
They should aim to gain potential customers, highlight the USP’s and benefits of your products and prompt a purchase on a launch.
Send Teaser -> Announcement -> USP’s and benefits -> Live now
Automated flows: Update any up sale automations to include a new product etc.
STEP 9: Launch risk assessment
This enables you to put in place proactive mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
This area is the biggest cause of issues and delays, so leave nothing to chance and give yourself plenty of leeway.
STEP 10: Website set-up and eComm tactics.
Product bundles, shipping discounts, multibuy offers
Build your website, create product listings, update your home page, build landing pages
Before you publish your site publicly, end-to-end test the full purchase journey as if you were a customer landing on your website for the very first time.
Website test check list
- check your links and CTAs are working properly
- Check there are no errors or mistakes in copy
- Check your imagery is displaying correctly
- Test using incognito mode & different browsers
- Place some test purchases
Be prepared with you customer service set up.
Check FAQ’s, product details, shipping info, customer policies
Monitor customer service channels, comments, dm’s and respond quickly
Try to increase resources to make customer service response times as low as possible
