They need to make a drawer with the handle and wheels to use as your bottom box so you don't have to take all the boxes off your bottom box to open it!!
I been using the PackOut from the time it became available. I have gone trough many iterations of my stack. I think the PackOut is by far the best system. I will share some of my experiences with it. I originally bought two sets they came with the rolling tool box the medium box and the smaller box. After using it for a while I found the rolling tool boxes to be very inconvenient for my use. To the point that I would not open the toolbox very often. I ended up putting my biggest tools and the tools I didn't use often inside of it. The box became very heavy and it was a pain to load it and unload it from my truck. As soon as the Packout Dolly came out I got one and I never used the rolling toolboxes again. I ended up selling both of them and I don't miss them. The toolboxes are cool but after the PackOut drawers came out. I been buying them and now I have a stack of unused toolboxes. I would recommend that you skip the tool boxes and just get the dolly and drawers it will be way more convenient. I now have stacks of 3 drawer units and the organizers on top with all my different screws and small materials. Hopefully some of this info is helpful for you.
I only got into packout because of the drawers. I have so much of it now and although I now have some of the "treasure chest style boxes" as my girlfriend calls them I still have not bought a rolling tool box because I only want the "treasure chest style" boxes on top. I did make a plywood base to go onto a folding dolly I got for free from a free pile in front of someone's house. I mounted a pack out adapter plate to the plywood. It's worked out well until I find an epic sale on the packout cart.
Man I got a few thousand in packout and it's a life saver. Well it's helpful as hell. Lol. I've been diving into the aftermarket upgrades alot lately and the options are endless. Great video clint
I got the 2 tumblers and I used them everydays. They're the best for cleaning and stay warm for a long time. However they leak real bad. Just by going to work, there will be coffee all over my lunchbox. Also, you need to be careful near clean paper if you need to open or close them. They might be perfect for a rough working area and if you don't need to transport your coffee, but there's room for improvement for everyday usage.
Mine doesn't leak at all when I use soda which is supposedly the worst you can use for it because the carbonation messes with the seal but I have noticed that if you don't clean the lid real good by taking it apart at least once a day it will leak or if it's too full I believe. But I have had sodas in mine and actually had it sitting sideways while carrying it connected to my pack out and it not even leak a drop.
@@jasoningram2006 The more you use it, the more it will leak. Also, the heat from the coffee will more likely mess more with seal system than soda. I'm curious to test the leakage issue under different conditions. Sure I clean both mugs real good every day after use, it would be disgusting.
@@Math.F-C I use it all day every day. I got it the week of release too. Maybe you just got a bad one? I got the big one. Not sure if that makes a difference either.
Clint, as always, dropping the knowledge, saving lives, AND being environmentally conscious by preventing coffee spillage! 8:45-9am, Clint demonstrates, with no smoke, no mirrors, no camera trickery, and no slick double talk-a-ty. 💥 BAM💥 ! Problem solved!
The soft toolbox is one of my favorites. Drop tools I need in the open bag, then just pop on the small accessory box with the fasteners and bits I need to the bottom and it is easy to do quick set ups.
Only complaint I have about the video is claims of durability on brand new products. Gotta use it to know if it’s sturdy construct. Great video none the less!
The charger does ONE battery, at a time, on both sides! So it charges TWO batteries at a time, the arrows light up to tell you which batteries are charging!
No denying, that’s a Nasssss mobile storage system. Never owned any packout except for the packout tool bag. They sure look awesome though Clint. You did a great job on the rundown of this system brother. Nailed it. Take care man. All the best to the family 💯🔥✊
Awesome solution for the coffee mug but..... You mentioned you don't have to hold your coffee mug while you go up to a job site. Please fill your mug up with Mountain Dew and attached it to the lid. Then hold it at a 90° angle and walk about 20 feet. If it doesn't spill it's a legit feature, if not it's a worthless gimmick. With that said The Milwaukee pack out is an awesome system. Personally I prefer the DeWalt with the DS carrier. I don't want to have to move a ton of boxes to get something out of the bottom box. That's what's so awesome about the DeWalt DS carrier You can pull any box out without having to move any other box
The back area has a big hill. Tied it without issues a couple weeks ago and didn't have any issues. I've actually seen reviews with a one star rating saying it spills when the lid is open. It basically turning the tumbler upside down when doing so 🤣
Do you have any idea what happened to the ridgid propane heater. They still have it on the ridgid site as a buyable product. But now, it’s like it never existed on home depot site. A couple on Amazon and 1 on eBay. Have you heard if they are redesigning it, pulling it. I should have got it when I could, but I will wait if it’s coming back before buying a different brand.
Wow, interesting 🤔. I just looked and couldn't find it either. I would think it should be up already on the site if they are going to sell it. Wonder if the new Ryobi is going to be the main seller of this item now. I'll look into it
What packout attachment do I use to secure it to the bed of my truck? Or do I need to load and unload it daily ? Super inconvenient doesn’t make any sense
Real nice like.... Love that. I've been a Makita guy and it's almost like the devils temptation leading me to a whole new platform. But it's amazing and I'm pretty much sold.😢
I only have 17 modules and two the totes , they are divided into three job specific setups , the vaccum would be nice but I have all dewalt cordless so dosnt make sense to have one m18 item
The vacuum is great!! But the bags are never sold at my Home Depot!! The only con I’ve had is the battery is terrible to get out !! I’ve got two sets for my granite countertop install set up !! Love them !!
The powdercoat on my Milwaukee Coffee mug is peeling in a bunch of spots. I emailed milwaukee support and never even received an email back. No stores know how to warranty it.
Own the basic 3 piece system. Great. But you have to admit, the flex system just makes more sense. Im way deep in the Milwaukee brand but what flex did with their stack system just makes more sense!!
If the cup is designed to attach to the lid, it shouldn't leak. That defeats the whole purpose of it connecting to the lid. Either way, good shit. I'm thinking about getting one.
I will always love my PACKOUT no matter if other brands are cheaper and are trying to copy the PACKOUT in any shape or form because the PACKOUT is real nass like.💪🏽 Smeeesh that like button. 👀👉🏼 👍🏽
I must have lost my tool soul my soul my two DeWalt tough system 1.0 I have 2 rolling boxes and a bunch of other boxes they fit my bill lucky they do make secondary market attachments
It is popular, but I'm having problem with Milwaukee pack out. It's horribly volume waster. I have a minimum of 30% "volumic" inefficiency compare to a purely square box. Why on earth do their tray/box are narrower then any other pack out ? Why waste 2 inches of storage all around for silly handles ? The god dam cart you have to remove all top boxes to have access to the bottom one ?
Usually the bottom one holds your power tools. So once your on the job site, you’re gonna pull out your power tools, then stack everything back on top. Two trips to the bottom box.
The stupidest thing is their rolling toolbox opens from the top instead of drawers, so you have to lift everything off to get into the box. So stupid. I hope whoever made that decision was fired a long time ago. They obviously put a lot of thought into the design of the system, and made a lot of good decisions, but this one huge mistake just about ruins the whole system. Such idiots. You can get the wheel cart and have drawers at the bottom, but the wheel cart is too bulky and doesn't telescope.
This is not a fix, it is a work-a-round. This video is a complete waste of time. At least I would have thought you would have said grab a spill resistant lid off a Yeti or something.

They need to make a rolling box with drawers.
I'm down 😎👊

What work did you do that made the Packout tool cart cumbersome?
I came to the same conclusion.
I was wondering about that. The drawer system makes way more sense to me maybe with the table top thing at the top.

Yep, they leak. They're junk, like half the new Milwaukee half-baked garbage coming out. Used to be a huge fan, not so much no more.
